EPW def. ECW, 4-3 Show notes: The final show of Round 2 hosted by EPW was a barn burner! EPW won the first three matches on the card. ECW won the next three setting up the main event to decide the team series winner. Europe's Lou Thesz, Ed Lewis and George Hackenschmidt took out ECW's Impact Players after a surprising fast elimination by Credible on Lewis. The junior heavyweight contest was a good one with Zack Sabre Jr. coming back to beat Jerry Lynn. The Alpha Female completely battered Jazz all over the ring. It was a scary display of power and she finally put Jazz away for the win. ECW's comeback started with an unbelievable upset! The Franchise Shane Douglas was absolutely destroyed by Big Van Vader, but would not stop fighting. Francine interjected herself to help her man. Douglas showed amazing resilience and upset the European heavyweight champion with the belly to belly suplex. The Sandman and Ivan Koloff spent as much time outside the ring as in. As expected these two just dished it out back and forth but the Sandman won the Brass Knuckles match. Doc & Gordy had the European and the JWA All-Asia tag team titles, but Rob Van Dam & Sabu scored the upset. Sabu was nearly killed but didn't go down. Bill Alfonso interfered and RVD helped keep the match going. RVD scored the win to take both tag team championships, making up for this team's losing the ECW tag belts in round 1 to Mexa Blood. The main event decided the team winner of the series. The submission match almost ended in seconds as Frank Gotch locked in the toe hold right away. Severn battled back and would not give up until he could no longer stand the pain. |

Greg Valentine & Larry Zbyszko came back to upset the Midnight Express. Mildred Burke crushed Sherri Martel in short order. The Iron Sheik upset Buddy Rogers in a Submission match with the Camel Clutch. Dutch Sagage out-slugged Bull Curry in the Singapore Cane Match. The JWA team won the six-man elimination match to even the overall score at 3-3. Giant Baba wrestled a great match and dominated Harley Race. Baba was on fire but this was a long fight before Race finally went down. Baba won the world title from Race over three years ago at SuperClash I. Baba has not had a world title match since May of 2117. |

I think I got 4 right, so pretty good predictions! Even though I picked Burke I wasn’t expecting her to crush Sherri Martel. Great show with some interesting matches. Can’t wait to see the next card in this series you’re doing.

EPW def. WWC, 5-2 Show notes: Doc & Gordy lost a pair of tag team titles last week but won two more in this round of The Federation Wars! Europe gets a strong win over Puerto Rico 5-2. Gerry Brisco may have injured Zack Sabre Jr. but only because the Brit would not submit and sustained a lot of damage to the legs. After a long time Brisco won. Europe's highly impressive six-man team swept the Powers of Pain & Don Muraco. The Alpha Female scored a big time win over Jessicka Havok in impressive fashion. Frank Gotch faced a submission opponent unlike any he'd ever seen before. It was a scientific and a brutal fight of a contest that eventually Gotch won by submission. Ivan Koloff got a big win in a Singapore Cane match over Abdullah the Butcher. Jimmy Snuka landed the splash to take down Vader. Doc & Gordy took the fight to Bruiser Brody, but it was Stan Hansen they double teamed for the win to take a pair of tag team titles. |
