As part of our look back at the golden age of GWF it is important to touch on things that were happening outside of the squared circle that effected things inside of it. Here is one of those times.
An interesting historic point about this time is the GWF had to deal with some protesting at their shows. Some fans were demanding that GWF added female wrestlers to their roster and shows. At the same time some fans were protesting that idea. The thing to remember is the U.F.S.P. banned wrestling for almost 30 years over the brutal aspect of the sport. When they decided to allow wrestling to return, they only allowed it for males and did not sign off on female wrestling. Thus, the protesters were focusing on the wrong people as the GWF Board of Directors had their hands tied. As we know, later in time the U.F.S.P. revisited the issue, a few times actually, and finally allowed wrestling promotions to sign female wrestlers for matches once again.

A fun show. Lightning beating Tongsoon was a bit of an upset.
Could an alliance be forming between Wolf & Spike? I know Wolf is the ultimate loner but him and Spike do both have an ax to grind with The Gladiators now so perhaps Wolf will be willing to work with Spike to fight their common enemy.
Looking forward to the upcoming Supercard.🙂

I don't see Spike and Wolf working together. This is not a case of the enemy of my enemy. In fact for the Gladiators it is just some tough love.

Hiya "War of the Worlds"? Can you loan that name to me for my PPV? Here's some HYPE (for free) for your PPV: Actress Kaley Cuoco appears onscreen, saying, "Hey, guys! It's Kaley Cuoco from 'The Big Bang Theory' here! You have GOT to order the PPV because not only will COMMANDER SAM FINALLY reveal his last name, but you will also hear the maiden name of my Big Bang Theory character as well!" THAT will get your PPV's buy-rates up! Later! Todd C WTIC

As far as the PPV name, if you want it by all means use it. I have no problem with that. I cannot speak for H.G. Wells, however.
