War Of The Worlds '88 PPV - 3rd Q, 2088
- A short hype video and then the announcers welcome everyone to the PPV. The opening match was just added as Omega battles Royal Overlord
Omega over Royal Overlord with a Tomahawk Thrust
- Royal Overlord entered the ring with his staff and got in a discussion with the referee about his ability to do so
- As the referee took the staff away and went to remove it from the ring Royal Overlord hit a low blow on Omega to give him the early advantage
- Omega of course was able to fight back. He dominated most of the action but Overlord had his moments
- Omega tried to win with a sleeper but Overlord dropped to the mat for a jaw breaker. A bit later Omega tried it again and this time Overlord almost faded. He had to run backwards into a corner to get a break
- It was not long after that Omega finished the match with his favorite move
Norse Gods w/Solaris beat Alien Corps when Lightning pinned Tongsoon of Cygnus after a Lightning Kick
- Two men who have been getting to know each other over last month or so, Tongsoon and Lightning began the match for their teams
- Tongsoon was all over Lightning to start but after Lightning ducked one move, he hit Lightning Kick. Tongsoon looked to be on dream street as Lightning rolled him up for the pin
- Comrade Terror was not happy to see the match end so fast
A shot of the Gladiators arriving for their match against the Animal Pack later tonight. Spike is walking behind them carrying their bags. He does not look pleased about the situation
Renegade defeated Vanity w/Sweet Thing and The Creeper with Spinecracker
- Once again Vanity made a grand entrance. Sweet Thing tossing rose petals in front of The Creeper who was pulling a rickshaw with Vanity inside of it. When Vanity got out of the rickshaw he told Sweet Thing to plant a kiss on his cheek which she did happily
- Both men locked up and wrestled for control and thanks to an eye poke Vanity had the early advantage
- Momentum went from one to the other
- Renegade started to string offense together. That brought Sweet Thing up to the apron. She pulled the straps of her dress off her shoulders, pulled her top down a bit and showed off the lacey bra she was wearing. That got the attention of both the referee and Renegade
- Vanity recovered and attacked Renegade from behind and used his finisher, Pulverizer. Renegade was able to kick out
- Vanity kept on the attack and used a second Pulverizer and a piledriver but could not put Renegade away
- He went to the high rent district but before diving off he took time to blow a kiss to Sweet Thing who got so excited when he did. That was a mistake because as he dove off toward Renegade he got caught by Renegade and received a powerslam
- From there it was all Renegade until he applied his finisher and made Vanity tap out
Wolf w/Amazonia The Savage over Bounty Hunter w/Reynard B Guile with Savage Face Claw in a GWF Interplanetary Championship match to win the title
- Both men brawled from the opening bell
- After some hard-hitting back and forth Wolf started to get on a roll
- An unsuccessful pin attempt led to Wolf applying his finisher
- Bounty Hunter got no help from his manager as Amazonia had come over to talk to him and Reynard's full attention was on her. The bell ending the match finally broke the spell. When Reynard realized what happened he went nuts
- Wolf took the title belt, rolled out to the floor and walked off with Amazonia by his side. That only angered Reynard even more
Animal Pack beat Gladiators w/Spike when Battering Ram pinned Massacre after a Battering Ram
- The Gladiators told Spike to stand in their corner and watch. If he did, he might learn something
- The match started and the team teams that hated each other went to war
- Massacre was the first to get a real advantage and it was over Massacre. He then tagged Ram back in
- Battering Ram hit his finisher, named for himself as it were, and rocked Massacre's world. He hooked a leg and made the pin
- Brute came in and attacked Battering Ram. The Animan would get no help as Spike had grabbed a chair, walked around the ring and hit Incredible Badger on the back. As Spike beat down on Badger on the floor the Gladiators worked Battering Ram over on the floor. Then Massacre called Spike into the ring. The youngest Gladiator grabbed Ram, went to the top rope and hit a Super Destroyer
- Animal Pack won the match but they clearly lost the battle
A video package showing the long, heated history between Star Warrior and Thantos. The former tag partners and friends have become bitter enemies. Their match is next and it will be brutal as it will be a Texas Death match
Star Warrior defeated Thantos with karate chop in a Texas Death match
- It is possible that no two men in GWF are more evenly matched than these two
- Star Warrior attacked Thantos with wild punches right after the bell and went for a quick pin but Thantos kicked out
- A minute or so later Thantos tried a pin attempt with no success
- For several minutes the men went at it tooth and nail
- Based on how even these men were it was hard for either to get on a roll because soon as it seemed them might the other man would counter them
- After a couple more pin attempts by Star Warrior a desperate Thantos rolled to the floor. That was a big mistake as Star Warrior went after him, pulled a lead pipe from under the ring and smashed Thantos with it a couple times
- Star Warrior rolled Thantos into the ring
- Star Warrior went for the kill with his Nova Launch finisher. Everyone gasped when Thantos kicked out before three
- Once again Thantos tried to get a breather out on the floor. Star Warrior went out and attacked him. He hit a DDT on the entrance ramp before taking the match back inside the ring
- Back in the ring Thantos was starting to bleed from the top of his head
- Star Warrior kept his attack going and a karate chop, right on Thanto's laceration, sent Thantos crashing onto the mat. That was the final blow allowing Star Warrior to earn his hard fought for victory
- After the match, as Star Warrior was walking up the ramp someone came from the side and attacked him. It was Invincible Krakan. It took several members of security to pull Krakan off of Star Warrior. What was this attack about? Was Krakan upset over a recent loss to Star Warrior? Or was there some other reason behind this sneak attack?
Greek Gods w/Solaris beat Blood Brothers via disqualification in a GWF Galaxy Tag Team Championship match
- This was a really short match that saw the teams evenly matched
- It all came to a quick end when the Headsmen came down to the ring, pulled Proteus off the apron and started to attack him. The referee saw it and called for the bell
- Blood Brothers were upset and went to the floor to ask the Headsmen what they thought they were doing
- Solaris waved his hand and a bright light hit the four members of the Masked Assassins in their eyes. It sent the four men running into the back as Actagon checked on his tag team partner
An announcement that GWF's next PPV event will be a blast. It will be in March and is named Cosmic Big Bang. The highlight of the PPV will be a special match with details to come later
Bishop Hell w/Royal Overlord over Commander Sam w/Adam Blast in a GWF Galaxy Championship match
- Royal Overlord, looking the worse for wear after his match with Omega, led his very confident man down to the ring
- Bishop Hell was determined to win this match and had the champ on his heels from the opening bell
- Shortly after a failed pin attempt Bishop Hell rocked Commander Sam with a Bishop Blast. He hooked both of Sam's legs and the referee made the count
- Commander Sam's title reign came to an end and Bishop Hell's second reign began

Renegade defeated Vanity w/Sweet Thing and The Creeper with Spinecracker
