And there you have it folks! The feud that set Memphis on fire, and a feud that ranks right up there with any in that territory's history. Honestly, I'm as excited to have Monroe and Wicks as any signing we've had. Just great, great history! Completely agree, Stu. Up until maybe 7-8 years ago, I don’t think I’d ever heard of Billy and knew Sputnik only as the guy with a white streak in his hair who did something for civil rights. Now… I’m glad I know better. Truly essentials for Legends in my eyes. |

Exactly who I thought it was going to be.
Wicks was a legit beast. Easily one of the most underrated guys of his time in terms of actual shooting/hooking/wrestling ability.
Looking forward to giving him a push.

It’s funny. I was talking with Sam one day about Sputnik and a few hours later, he told me he had signed Wicks, lol
I’ve read a lot about him over the years due to researching Memphis history, so glad he’s finally in the game.

Really excited about Billy Wicks. He's new to me but after doing some reading on him and Sputnik's incredible rivalry, I'm very excited to play this out. LOW really covers so many eras of wrestling history and I love learning new things about it. This game has expanded the reach of so many whose names should be celebrated. It's so cool to have Sputnik and Wicks here.
I'm pumped to have Wicks wrestle Thesz, Roop, Brisco, Gotch, and others as well. Sputnik might be joining up with Jimmy Hary in my Memphis fed. Thinking of teaming him with Koko Ware.

I'm not SUPER well versed in Billy Wicks career but he definitely looks like someone who is right up my alley. I'll have to do some serious research on him. Love the artwork.
