...Solaris watches on wondering what he has done as Kronos has officially become a war zone!

"ENOUGH!" Solaris screams sending out a blast of energy that puts everyone down.

"I wasn't planning on a fight card today but you have forced my hand! I have created a match that will determine the first King of Kronos!"
Solaris walks away to prepare. Instantaneously Johnny Rocket receives a message on his phone.

"Here is how this is going down." Johnny started. "The hero's and villains will each pick 10 men to compete, the 4 independent wrestlers will also be involved. You have 20 minutes to prepare for the KRONOS PORTAL MATCH."

THE KRONOS PORTAL MATCH

The ring was removed for the Battlefield. A long circular area with no ropes or turnbuckles. We are told if the need for ropes or turnbuckles arises they will appear. Four will start with wrestlers entering at different time intervals. Portals are open at different points around the Battlefield. The goal of the match is to throw the opponent through the portal for possible elimination. Pin or submission is also permitted. Here are the wrestlers slated to compete.

Avenging Force and Rhea lock up as do Cosmos and Nightmare!
Cosmos wastes no time hitting several Tornado Lariats to quickly eliminate Nightmare.
Avenging Force has Rhea reeling and elimination looks inevitable until
Psyclone enters at number 5!
Psyclone makes a b line for Avenging Force.
He takes some punishment himself but the end result is the elimination of Avenging Force through a portal!
Pegasus enters at number 6!
Rhea tries to get the upper hand on Pegasus but he fights back and brings it against the giant.
Bobby Lee enters at number 7!
Bobby Lee ties up with Cosmos in a battle of strength vs. agility.
Rhea is easily eliminated after Wings of Pegasus. 
Solitude enters at number 8! 
The former Minister of War comes in and decimates everyone, staying true to every man for himself. 
Cosmos recovers and takes advantage of the situation making Psyclone tap to the Masterlock. 
Bobby Lee also takes advantage of Solitudes brutality and throws Pegasus through a portal for a shocking elimination!
Mensar enters at number 9!
Mensar and Solitude go toe to toe! Solitude gets a shot or two in on Mensar but the beast shrugs them off and counters with brutal elbows and Wrecking Machine!
Mensar throws Solitude through a portal but another opens above the Battlefield dropping Solitude fifteen feet back into the "ring". Mensar picks up a limp Solitude and hurls him through another portal for the elimination. 
Tauran enters at number 10!
The vampire immediately attacks Bobby Lee with fast strikes and sinks in BITE OF THE VAMPIRE but Bobby Lee fights back!
Mensar continues his assault this time against Cosmos
Jupiter enters at number 11!
Jupiter hangs back not in a rush to get involved quite yet. 
Cosmos turns the tide against Mensar and gets a pin after a top rope elbow drop!
Jupiter finally gets involved attacking Cosmos.
Bobby Lee manages to slow down Tauran with a Survivor Slashing and throws him out of a portal!
Olympia enters at number 12!
Jupiter's older brother runs in and attacks Bobby Lee instead of teaming up against Cosmos. 
That favors Cosmos who survives a beating to lock in the MASTERLOCK! Olympia could break it up instead he throws Bobby Lee up in an armless airplane spin! Olympia tosses Bobby Lee through a portal spinning but he comes back through landing fifteen feet back on the Battlefield hard! He's easy pickens as Olympia tosses him out again.
Jupiter can't hold on any longer and taps to MASTERLOCK!
Raven enters at number 13!
Olympia and Raven trade blows with Raven coming out on top until...
Honos enters at number 14!
Honos attacks Raven. His brother recovers and they put the boots to Raven
Blazing Holocaust enters at number 15!
It's W.A.R vs The Overmen with all four men trading blows! Honos and Blazing Holocaust are destroying each other!
Density enters at number 16!
Density makes the smart decision to attack the man in there the longest, Cosmos!
Cosmos sidesteps a charging Density who goes through a portal and is eliminated!
Swarm enters at number 17!
Swarm swings the tide in favor of the W.A.R boys attacking the Overmen and eliminating Olympia through a portal.
Honos tries to avenge his brother but goes through a portal himself and getting eliminated. 
Blazing Holocaust shows no gratitude and throws Swarm through a portal and eliminates him!
Raven argues with Holocaust about the elimination when...
Spike enters at number 18!
The Aethran blindsides Raven with a forearm to the back sending him into his partner Blazing Holocaust.
Spike sends him through a portal but Raven ends up falling back into the Battlefield. Spike wastes no time setting him up for MEGADESTROYER and the elimination! Ouch!
Thriller enters at number 19!
Thriller does the smart thing and attacks Cosmos who is somehow still in this thing.
Cupid enters at number 20!
Cupid attacks Blazing Holocaust giving Spike a much needed breather. Spike makes a comeback and throws Blazing Holocaust through a portal and eliminating him. 
Thriller turns his attention to Cupid and gets thrown through a portal for his trouble. 
Spike and Cupid turn their attention to Cosmos when...
Infinity enters at number 21!
Infinity takes on both Cupid and Spike until the latter backs off. Cupid takes a ride through the portal for the elimination.
Infinity and Spike go at it with Spike nearly going through a portal.
Infinity-Plex enters at number 22!
Wasting no time Infinity-Plex demolishes an exhausted Cosmos and tosses him through a portal ending a hell of a run. 
Infinity-Plex attacks Infinity and Spike joins in the beat down. It's not looking good until...
True Blue enters at number 23!
True Blue attacks Spike as Inifinity makes a comeback on Infinity-Plex! The four men battle it out until quietly...
Nikolai enters at number 24!
Nikolai sneaks around the Battlefield not getting involved and trying not to be noticed.
True Blue gets sent through a portal by Spike but comes back through another behind him! True Blue levels Spike with a lariat and a Cetus Suplex. Spike mounts a comeback and manages to pin True Blue following a MEGADESTROYER.
Elsewhere on the Battlefield Infinity and Infinity-Plex battle until Plex ends up in the Infinity Grip! He tries to escape but can't and taps!
Spike takes advantage of the situation, grabs Infinity and tosses him through a portal!
Spike celebrates thinking he's won it all! Nikolai attacks with Survivor Slashing and zaps Spike with the Cattle Prod! Spike goes down hard! Nikolai wastes no time picking up Spike and tossing him into a portal for the final elimination! 

NIKOLAI WINS THE KRONOS PORTAL MATCH!

The Battlefield dissolves into our regular ringside area. Solaris is there waiting with the Crown of Kronos. He puts it on Nikolai who raises his cattle prod high zapping the air and screaming to the heavens!

When it came down to him and Spike I thought it was a forgone conclusion that Spike was winning. When Nikolai hit him with the cattle prod and tossed him out I jumped out of my seat. My mind is racing with ideas of how he's going to keep it! Thanks for checking it out!

SHIELDS OF THE IMMORTALS

Solaris beams to the ring at the Crossroads of the Galaxy Coliseum. He apologizes for losing his temper last show but notes we got an incredible match out of it AND the new Champion of Kronos.

"Johnny Rocket will interview our newest guests, The Survivors, later tonight on the Launching Pad. Tonight we will crown the COTG Tag Shield champions! Eight teams will do battle with only one coming out on top! Let the tournament begin!"

FIRST ROUND

Mercenaries make quick work of Sixth Law defeating them in six moves! Tongsoon put down Destruction 4300 with BATTLE CRY.

Greek Gods get by Desolation Factor after Rack is put to sleep with ANCIENT MYSTERY.

Twin Telepathy win a war with The Gladiators (TELEPATHIC EDGE on Torment)

Lethal Lottery make a comeback against Rocket's Rebellion bloodying Avalanche with SPLATTER

THE LAUNCHING PAD

Johnny Rocket waits for his three guests, already in a bad mood from the result of the previous match. Eventually his patience runs out and he sends a videodrone to find them. They're eventually found in the basement of their domicile. The Crown of Kronos sits on a work bench with several tools bent and broken scattered on the floor. Thriller and Bobby Lee look to be at their wits end.

Johnny Rocket - What are you doing?!?!

Neither men respond still trying to come up with a plan.

Nikolai walks in with a blow torch!

Nikolai - Stand back boys, if this don't get these gems off I don't know what will!

Johnny Rocket - Are you trying to strip the Crown of Kronos?!

Annoyed, Nikolai turns the blow torch on the videodrone cutting the feed! To be continued...


Avenging Force gets a win by disqualification when Psyclone puts him through the announcers table with a moonsault! This is far from over.

SEMI FINALS

Mercenaries advance to the finals beating the Greek Gods when Proteus falls to IT'S JUST BUSINESS.

The finals will be all Hitmen! Lethal Lottery systematically pick apart Warden, ending it with a DDT from Vyper.

THE LAUNCHING PAD

Johnny Rocket leaves the show to rush over to the Survivors quarters. He runs to the basement to find the Crown intact, absolutely pristine, with the Survivors sitting on the floor a little dejected.

Johnny Rocket - What is the meaning of this? You disrespected the Crown!

Thriller - Crown is fine, don't wet yerself!

Johnny Rocket -That is the highest honor on Kronos and you tried to sell it for scraps!

Nikolai - Listen we don't care about this war of good and evil, we're just trying to get money ASAP and find a place to live where we're not a meal.

Johnny Rocket - You realize that having that makes you "the man" here, right? You guys are the three most coveted commodity on Kronos right now. You can punch your ticket to anywhere when this is over...

Nikolai thought about this for a minute and gathered his men to conference. He motioned to Bobby Lee who nodded and walked over to Rocket.

Bobby Lee - We have to talk about our future here on Kronos. I think it's time for you to leave...

NUMBER ONE CONTENDER

Cosmos stuns Spike and all of Kronos by taking the Gladiator out in four moves. Spike twists and turns in the MASTERLOCK but can't get to the ropes and is forced to tap!

FINALS

Krakan decides to play no favorites, walking over to the commentary booth and grabbing a chair, throwing his boots on the table.

Lethal Lottery and the Mercenaries hold nothing back, you wouldn't even know they were on the same team! Tongsoon manages to kick out of MEET ARSENAL but falls to SPLATTER! Vyper stops the Galactic Punisher from interfering and the two continue fighting after the bell. Bad Dude helps Vyper until Tongsoon recovers and the Hitmen are fighting each other. Krakan finally steps in sending a gun shot flying in the air. The two teams stop fighting and half heartedly shake hands at the demand of Krakan.

Lethal Lottery strap the Shield on their arm and pose on opposite corners as Krakan lets round after round fly into the air.

Krakan will have to keep a tight reign on his team cuz I don't think the Mercs are gonna take losing to Lethal Lottery all too well... Calmer heads are unlikely to prevail... HA!

SURVIVAL SERIES

True Blue & Avenging Force vs. Takeover

In an attempt to curry favor (and possibly sign) Avenging Force, Johnny Rocket lent out his man to team with the Son of Omega. That plan backfired. True Blue gets taken out nearly as soon as he tags into the match, getting pinned after TOTAL MASTERY. Avenging Force chose violence getting disqualified for using a super charged ALPHA FORCE.

Survivors - Mensar and Tyranny
Mensar is injured for 6 cards.

Rocket Men vs. The Gladiators

Spike came out with a point to prove crushing Pegasus early with MEGA DESTROYER but can't keep him down. The match continues for a long while with near falls until Avalanche pins Torment after Wintuuw Whiplash.
The eliminations come fast and furious with Spike wowing everyone by slamming Avalanche with a MEGA DESTROYER.
Spike survives three jumping piledrivers and a FULL POWER before falling to WINGS OF PEGASUS.
Prodigy and Catagory Five wow everyone with their speed but Prodigy comes out on top with SUPERIORITY COMPLEX for the win.

Surviviors - Pegasus and Prodigy

W.A.R vs. The Overmen

Jupiter insisted on starting that match still upset about what happened at The Portal Match. Olympia made sure neither Honos or Cupid made any attempt to save Jupiter when he was pinned.
A highlight of the match was Cupid vs. Cool. Cupid poses opposite his opponent as women swoon and grab pictures. Cool wasn't the least bit interested, shrugging his shoulders and putting his hands out (aka The Fonz Shrug) and the women go wild! This sends Cupid into a rage and gets him disqualified for a chair shot to Cool's head.
W.A.R put on a master class in teaming with everyone contributing (Warden did the most damage, and took a lot himself with INVINCIBLE) but Raven was the star eliminating Honos with BROADSWORD.
Olympia and Jupiter try working together but its too late, Raven pins Jupiter after a High Fly Flow.
Olympia puts up a good fight but eventually falls to a BROADSWORD as well.

Survivors - Raven, Blazing Holocaust, Warden and Cool

Brothers in Arms vs. Hitmen for Hire

The Brothers in Arms were at a handicap for this match going 5 on 4. To make up for this it was decided that if they win, Brothers in Arms would get a shot at the tag shields with a team of their choosing.
The handicap never comes into play as Psyclone is attacked walking down the aisle by Avenging Force! Avenging Force takes the fight through the crowd and to ringside putting Psyclone through a table with a piledriver! This would have been enough but applies ALPHA FORCE before security could get him off.
The dAvenging Force distraction costs the Hitmen dearly with Bad Dude going down to PHALANX ATTACK.
Proteus takes out Galactic Punisher with a Grecian Power Drop.
Vyper makes Proteus tap to the ANACONDA VICE.
Swarm puts Vyper to sleep with VENOMOUS STINGER.
Tongsoon sees the writing on the wall and gets himself disqualified, hitting Swarm with the butt of Krakan's rifle.
Psyclone is ceremonially counted out. (Injured 2 cards)

Interesting to note that Lethal Lottery and The Mercenaries refused to tag out to the other team.

Infinity Guard vs. Extinction Event

Infinity-Plex was visibly upset at the losses suffered by his teams. He demanded Infinity start the match which was happily obliged. All ten combatants see action before there is an elimination until Rack eliminates Tauran with an Organ Grinder.
Infinity-Plex losses his cool and gets disqualified for swinging Destruction 4300 repeatedly into the guardrails.
Density squashes Nightmare with FLYING PROJECTILE.
Desolation Factor put the villain camp on their back eliminating Density, Ultra Clarion, Destruction 4300 and Infinity all with RACKED AND RUINED in an amazing run.

Survivors - Rack, Ruin, Rhea

Solaris beams to the ring before the main event.

Solaris - Congratulations to all the survivors. It is my pleasure to announce that next show you men...and lady, will be fighting in a Scorpi Spotlight Battle Royal, the winner of which will be crowned the Open the Crossroads champion!

Just as quickly as he appeared, Solaris was gone.

CROWN OF KRONOS
Nikolai vs. Cosmos
Cosmos owns Nikolai the entirety of the match but can't put the Centran away. Cosmos Skull Smasher, top rope elbow drop and GAMEMASTER DDT, all kicked out of. Frustrated but not deterred, Cosmos slaps on the MASTERLOCK. This brings out Bobby Lee who jumps on the ring apron and distracts the ref allowing Thriller to slide in the ring and nail Cosmos with his bat breaking the MASTERLOCK. Nikolai recovers and hits a CURB STOMP but Cosmos kicks out. Again he hits a CURB STOMP and again Cosmos kicks out. Desperate, Nikolai grabs his Cattle Prod and shocks Cosmos in plain view of the ref! The referee has no choice and disqualifies Nikolai. Fans are not happy! They litter the ring with trash and boo as Nikolai grabs his crown and heads to the back still King of Kronos.

Nikolai is a tough competitor... And that cattle prod just makes him extra difficult to handle... It's fun watching him in action as your top champion... A pretty unique character... Fun times!

I think the Survivors will take a run at my MWX Trios belts in the very near future... Hoping they perform well.
