Great episode! It was good to hear about how some of you guys' match creations came about and have gone for you over the years. I had to laugh when you mentioned some of the Myron matches. I remember running the match where a guy could die once and the very first time I did it, Dreadnought died. He was one of my favorites too! I kept him dead in subsequent years and hated every minute of it. You were just ahead of your time with your "death of Dreadnought" angle. You didn't have to see him suffer as wimpy, decrepit Dreadnought.

A lot of those charts and things got WAY out of hand with people seemingly trying to one up each other in match complexity. If there was a ringside companion of late 80s-90s fan created matches it would take five volumes just from all of the text and a half dozen charts per match.ย I played THE RISK! match in my fed too but didnโt have the nuts to kill anyone off. It was Chaos vs Justice. Justice won and saved Chaosโ life at the last second. I was like 14. I canโt imagine how things would have changed in my fed had I killed off Chaos.

Another great episode. Great discussion about the Ringside Companion and special matches. Chad, you would have been more successful in the GFP tournament if you had read your dice right in the match with me.

Forgot to mention this, thanks for mentioning Pete's JCP sets. I just downloaded the sets. Great reading.

Brilliant as always, gentlemen... Honestly, I've never been a huge fan of specialty matches unless it really makes sense for the characters involved... And I don't expect that will ever change... That being said, I love a good cage match for blowing off an intense feud... And ladder matches are pretty cool too!

Ran a Bakery Battle Bonanza match between Brute & Massacre and Beauty & the Beast. Here's a surprise, the Gladiators won. One card later I did a Mercury Scaffold Match between the Bomb Squad and the Henchmen, with the FDF prevailing. Ran a couple more scaffold matches too (Chad was apparently a "great" influence on my booking.) 1 Castle Cosmos in my history, mid 2090 won by Killer Queen!

I listened to this episode today. I really like the Ringside Companion and I am looking forward to playing with some of the matches (such as alley fight, scaffold, and stretcher) mentioned on the episode. I am currently involved in alot of roster movement among my 3 brands as part of my annual Draft, but hopefully I can still set up one of these special matches for my upcoming Vegasmania Backlash PPV Weekend. A question for stu (to hopefully be answered either here on the board or on Uncharted Territory.) This weekend the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announces 11 finalists for the Class of 2022. Which of those 11 finalists do you think most deserve to make the Hall of Fame and why?

This weekend the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announces 11 finalists for the Class of 2022. Which of those 11 finalists do you think most deserve to make the Hall of Fame and why? Isn't everyone who ever played in the NBA in the Hall of Fame already? And I apologize for hijacking your question to Stu with a sarcastic response (shocking, I know).
