Watching the San Antonio/Orlando game and the thing I’m struck by is how meager the crowd is. Upper bowl and, for want of a better term, hard cam side are completely empty. Plenty of seating in the remaining sections. This is surprising cause Orlando has been a decent market for non-nfl football in the past. The original Rage back on 01 sold out the lower bowl and averaged 2/3 to 3/4 full. The Predators back in the AFL days always drew good crowds. Even the Tuskers in the UFL days had better attendance than most of the teams.

I think it will take a bit to get fans to turn out due to the way the last two tries went. Of course, the second one ended due to COVID. One issue I see is spring training has started and might take away some interest. Plus, it has been hot and muggy this weekend. If the league can make it thru this year and come back strong next year, I would think more fans would start investing their time and money to support the teams.

St. Louis Battlehawks led the XFL in attendance & TV ratings the last time.
They have one more road game(at DC)before finally making their home debut.
I'm expecting a packed Dome, and a loud & raucous Dome. Ka-Kaw is the law!

From what I saw on ESPN +, St. Louis looked like a great atmosphere for their home opener. St. Louis and DC seem to be the best home field crowds in the league so far this season. Orlando and Houston might be the worst.

Orlando and Houston might be the worst. St. Louis has been screwed by the NFL not once, but twice(first with the Cardinals, later with the Rams). As the only XFL city without an NFL team, the city has really got behind the Battlehawks. A fan came up with the saying "Ka-Kaw is the law", and it just took on a life of its own.

Thanks for correcting me. My memory isn't what it used to be now that I'm almost 50!

DC, the last unbeaten team, took their first loss today. It was to the Orlando team who was the last winless team. Yep, the 6-0 team lost to the 0-6 team. Crazy.

Likely meaning XFL's teams are closer to each other than NFL teams which is to be expected.

I've watched a couple of Orlando games, and this isn't that surprising. They've been a couple of bad breaks and bone head penalties away from being a .500 team at the minimum. With only three weeks left until the play-offs any team, even Orlando, could still make the off season.
