Awesome stuff. I loved using Quest. Great to see him doing his detective work in other corners of the galaxy. I have a lot of fun with Quest. He's become a favorite because you can plug him into anywhere and have an instant feud. Thanks for checking in, more to come soon! |

 Disciple lost, but at least Quest was coughing up blood!  One of the most fun characters, along with Uranus, to write for in ALL of the COTG universe. He may not win much, but the Hardcore Ham, the Sadistic Swine is a BLAST to write for!!! |

Disciple lost, but at least Quest was coughing up blood! One of the most fun characters, along with Uranus, to write for in ALL of the COTG universe. He may not win much, but the Hardcore Ham, the Sadistic Swine is a BLAST to write for!!! This was the last show with the original Disciple card. This was the first fed I ever introduced new or updated cards when I felt it was right or story dictated it, one of those will be coming up soon actually. I love Mayham and Uranus. They have the ability to lose every match and it doesn't matter, their characters are so great. Thanks for checking in! |

Pardon & Moonlight win in two moves!
In what may be record time, Pardon takes out Mayham with an eye gouge and a spinning cutter. Pardon grabs a mic
"One step closer, Sonny, one step closer!"
Murtak kicks open the doors of The Launching Pad's backstage area. He says he's here to avenge Disciple of Terror's loss and challenges Quest tonight! No one hears this proclamation except The Launching Pad janitor and his push broom.
"He ain't here tonight, fool." the janitor says as he continues to clean the back.
STALLION vs. CEPHALOPODIS
Stallion wins! (1.5)
Barring a hiccup or two, Stallion makes quick work of Cephalopodis with a Purebred Piledriver. This extends his win streak while the Ani-Man's skid continues.
Stallion grabs a mic and asks his Overmen brethren to join him to celebrate his victory. Out comes Uranus and Eugenics! Uranus explains that he is the Son of Janus who invited Stallion to the FTR to join The Stable. Stallion refuses to believe it thinking it's a joke - Uranus assures it's not telling Stallion he booked the last contest for Stallion, just like he booked the next contest for himself!
URANUS vs. KING TUX
Uranus wins! (2.25)
Stallion goes from thinking it's a joke, to confusion, to downright anger and embarrassment. King Tux falls off the turnbuckle when Uranus accidentally grabs the top rope to break his fall tripping the penguin up. Uranus falls in the right direction landing on top of King Tux and getting the three. Stallion angrily storms up the ramp as Uranus celebrates looking around for his new teammate.
Murtak storms to ring and says he didn't travel to the hellhole that is Maffei II for nothing. He's here to conquer and someone will be conquered! Sonny Rocket comes out and cautiously eyes up Murtak.
Rocket - I apologize for the inconvenience but all the matches for the night are booked, in fact our main event is next.
Murtak - I come for retribution...DENIED! Now you try to deny me an opponent to take my anger out on?
Rocket - Tell you what I'll do. Seeing as I'm one of the participants in the main event I will step aside, and you can have my spot. I booked this match before...umm recent circumstances and would be fine letting you fight. Do you want it?
Murtak - I want it.
Rocket - Do you really want it?
Murtak - Yes, give it to me please.
Rocket - Are you sure you want it?
Murtak - I DEMAND IT NOW!
Rocket - Ok, the match is yours.
MURTAK vs. VACANT
Vacant wins! (2.75)
The crowd goes nuts when Vacant's music hits. To his credit, Murtak stands tall and never shows fear. Vacant takes it to Murtak in and out of the ring, finally getting the tap out victory with SPINECRACKER. Vacant doesn't want to break the hold and the ref is close to reversing his decision when Swerve returns! He rushes to the ring and exchanges blows with Vacant as Rocket sends a swarm of security to the ring to break them up.

NON TITLE
ASTARTE vs. MASS
Astarte wins! (2.5)
Astarte wanted a "warm up match". What he got was the fight of his life! Mass kicks out of two GREATNESS DAWNS and almost wins the match with a head drop suplex. Astarte pulls a spear out of nowhere for the win. Astarte celebrates when Crossbones music hits! The Captain bolts out of the back and attacks Astarte. Mad Maxus and security once again rush out of the back to break up another unsanctioned fight.
Locker Room
Uranus tries to hype up Stallion for the tag match he booked them in. Stallion all but ignores him until he hears his music start to play.
MAYHAM & CHAMELEON vs. STALLION & URANUS
Stallion & Uranus win!
Stallion refuses to tag in Uranus who completely doesn't realize what's going on. Stallion pins Mayham rather easily after LUCKY HORSESHOE then storms to the back as Uranus celebrates "their" win.
Quest stands in front off his suspect board, takes out a photo and a tac and puts it on the Prime Suspect Spot. We don't see the reveal.
SWERVE vs. VACANT
Vacant wins by count out after piledriving a bloody Swerve on the concrete floor(2.5)
Vacant stalks the ring after the ref counts to ten. Swerve comes to and snaps! (Feud Table 4) Swerve pushes away medical staff then jumps back in the ring and attacks Vacant! He drops Vacant with two TITAN DROPS before hitting TITAN SWERVE! Afterwards he looks shocked at his actions as he slowly walks to the back starring at his hands.
NUMBER ONE CONTENDER
PARDON & MOONLIGHT vs. KING TUX & CEPHALOPODIS
Pardon and Moonlight win (3)
Pardon does the deed to King Tux with Future Endeavors. Pardon & Moonlight are now 3-0 while King Tux and Cephalopodis are in free fall. Sonny (doing commentary) grabs his mic to congratulate the duo.
"Well you did it, you earned your title shot at Next Sound You Hear. Pretty impressive run. We'll see how impressive you both are when you take on Mad Maxus and Astarte next week in a trios match with your partner...Capt. Crossbones!"

SONNY ROCKET vs. URANUS
Sonny Rocket wins with a springboard forearm! (2.75)
Rocket wins a match that was better than anyone in attendance (and watching on Holovision) expected to see. As Sonny celebrates Quest makes his way out to the ring.
Quest - "Next Sound You Here". That's cute. kind of an old gangster reference, right? As in "The next sound you hear is the last sound you'll ever hear" right? Kind of feels like a rib on me and my investigation. You know, you weren't my next suspect, but I can make a detour! So, at your cute little special you're up for interrogation! Don't try to run or avoid it, you'll only make it worse!
Quest walks off leaving a stunned Sonny Rocket standing in the ring.
After an ad for Next Sound You Hear we see Rocket backstage heading to his office talking to an assistant. "Find Stallion and inform him he has a match tonight and he's on deck!"
Murtak comes out and complains that he wasn't properly prepared for Vacant and thus the loss shouldn't count. He says tonight he hand picked his opponent and guarantees victory.
MURTAK vs. CRUST
Crust wins with EUGENICS PROJECTILE! (2)
Murtak gets utterly embarrassed by Crust who celebrates a singles victory!
Crossbones, Pardon and Moonlight sit at opposite sides of their locker room with a half dozen security guards separating them. Moonlight finally breaks the silence. "Are we going to TRY to come up with a game plan??" In unison the two foes quickly answer "NO."
STALLION vs. QUEST
Quest wins with Quest for Truth (2.5)
Quest steals one! He catches Stallion with a roll up after Quest for Truth (snake eyes) and gets the win.
In a backstage promo Swerve says what happened last Elevation shouldn't have and that is not the person he wants to be. Claims that although he is booked in a 4 Weapons of Destruction match at NSYH he will not give in to the dark side.
ASTARTE & MAD MAXUS vs. CAPT. CROSSBONES, PARDON & MOONLIGHT
Crossbones, Pardon & Moonlight win after Crossbones hits a Skull Face Headbutt on Axe! (3.5)
After a wild six-person brawl outside the ring, the unlikely team of challengers defeat the Rocket Men. After the match Crossbones and Pardon turn their attention to each other, both paranoid of an attack. The Rocket Men make their way to the back, beaten and a little embarrassed at the loss.

STALLION & URANUS vs. KING TUX & CEPHALOPODIS
King Tux and Cephalopodis win after Uranus goes down to Glacier Slide! (2.5) What started as a fun comedic match takes a dark turn. Stallion was in control until Uranus tags himself in. Fans howl in delight as King Tux bites Uranus on the backside and embarrasses him thoroughly. After the bell rings Stallion snaps. He attacks Cephalopodis from behind and dumps him out of the ring. He hits LUCKY HORSESHOE three times on King Tux prompting Uranus to step in and actually try to stop him only to get shoved to the mat for his trouble. Then the unthinkable. Stallion grabs Tux's egg and punts it into the crowd! Luckily, a fan catches the egg and hands it over - King Tux is a wreck when he comes to, cradling it and rushing it to the back for medical help. FOUR WEAPONS OF DESTRUCTION
SWERVE vs. VACANT
Vacant wins in a squash! Vacant wipes the floor with Swerve who only gets off one move the entire match. Things get uncomfortable for fans watching Swerve get punished. The end was particularly violent - Vacant leaves the ring and grabs several bottles of liquid from under the ring and begins to soak Swerve! Then the save man throws Swerve into the electro turnbuckle for an extra violent shock! This was the final straw for the ref who calls for the bell and awards the match to Vacant. Backstage
Medical staff tend to Tux's egg which has a significant crack from the punt. King Tux looks on worried while Cephalopodis stands behind his partner for support. Even Uranus hovers around the door waiting for an update. Suddenly parts of the shell chip away as the crack gets bigger until it breaks entirely revealing Prince Flurry!
Note - King Tux updated card to be used from now on.
QUEST vs. SONNY ROCKET
Sonny wins with a ROCKET LAUNCHER (3.25) Quest was in control doing his trademark smack talk "interrogation" throughout the match. Quest looks well on his way to victory when the lights go out. When they return a Man in a Hood stands in the middle of the ring staring at Rocket. Quest slowly approaches him putting his hand on his shoulder when the Man whips around and sets off a flare bomb! Quest and the ref grab their eyes in pain as Rocket crouches in the corner. The Man in the Hood bounces off the ropes and hits a HUGE spear on Quest! The Man turns again to look at Rocket before leaving the ring and running out through the crowd. Sonny takes full advantage, hits Rocket Launcher and steals a win. FTR TAG TITLES
MAD MAXUS vs. PARDON & MOONLIGHT
Pardon and Moonlight win when Pardon hits a Spinning Cutter on Axe! (2.5) Not even interference from Sonny Rocket could stop the freight train that is Pardon and Moonlight who capture the FTR Tag Titles! FTR CHAMPIONSHIP
ASTARTE vs. CAPT. CROSSBONES
Astarte defends the FTR title winning with an Astarte Spear! (3.75) Capt. Crossbones almost completes the most incredible comeback in FTR history. Unfortunately, Astarte is too strong and too prepared for all possibilities ending it with a huge spear. Astarte celebrates with his title as fireworks go off and confetti falls in the ring. |

In a prerecorded message from the commissioner's office, Sonny Rocket announces a huge press conference in two weeks' time that will change the landscape of FTR. He also says that he has been informed that his file is closed in the Blue Chip investigation. Finally, Rocket announces a blockbuster main event tonight, him and Astarte will take on new tag champions Pardon & Moonlight in a non-title match!
EUGENICS PROJECT vs. ANI-REBELS
Time Limit Draw! (2.5)
Rocket signed this match to get one of the two winless teams a W. Unfortunately for them, the match goes to the time limit without a victor.
Backstage
Uranus walks up to Stallion who is finishing his conversation with Murtak.
Murtak - We have an accord! I will head to the ring to announce him now! Murtak marches off, ignoring Uranus completely.
Uranus tells Stallion he went too far at NSYH but Stallion says he's just getting started.
Stallion - I stole a play out of your book and took the liberty to sign a match for you without your knowledge! You might want to stretch, your opponent is about to be introduced...
DISCIPLE OF TERROR vs. URANUS
Disciple wins with DREADNAUGHT (Squash!)
Murtak does an excellent job announcing the "new and improved" Disciple of Terror! Terror looks huge compared to even the last time we saw him! He takes apart Uranus then grabs a mic.
Disciple of Terror - This FTR is different from the one I left. The competition is better; therefore, I will be better. Iron sharpens Iron! Let the Reign of Terror begin!
Note - Disciple's updated card to be used from now on.
Backstage
New tag champions Pardon and Moonlight cross paths with Captain Crossbones and can't help but get a dig in. They show off their titles then ask to see his then remember he came up short. "Too bad you can't find anyone to watch that bony back of yours." They walk off as Crossbones seethes murmuring "we'll see about that."
KING TUX vs. STALLION
King Tux wins with ICE BREAKER (4)
King Tux takes an impressive three LUCKY HORSESHOES but still kicks out! Hellbent on revenge he refuses to lose this high-profile match in front of his son. After a brawl outside the ring that saw Prince Flurry hit Stallion with a low blow and Tux bash him in the head with his crown, Ice Breaker gets the upset win.
In ring Quest says he's zeroing in on the killer and thinks The Man in the Hood at NSYH is here to interfere with his investigation. Moments after he finishes saying he won't be distracted the lights go out and on with The Man in the Hood standing among the crowd. Quest goes out after him, but the lights go out again. When they return The Man is in another part of The Launching Pad! This happens twice more before the lights go out and The Man in the Hood vanishes for real.
NON-TITLE
PARDON & MOONLIGHT vs. ASTARTE & SONNY ROCKET
The tag champions win by disqualification.
Things get hairy outside the ring when Astarte loses his cool in a fight with Pardon. He ignores the referee's call to get back in the ring instead continues choking the Centaurian. The disqualification comes when one of The Cult members yells in Astarte's face and gets pulled over the barricade and tossed into Pardon himself!
As order is being restored, we get a promo from Swerve who is out by the loading docks of The Launching Pad. Swerve challenges Vacant to a non-sanctioned alley fight next Elevation!

The crowd is at a fever pitch with our first two combatants in the ring ready to be announced.
NON-TITLE
ASTARTE vs. PARDON
Pardon wins in seven moves with FUTURE ENDEAVORS!
We waste no time getting to the action! Pardon starts strong biting Astarte in the face who never quite recovers. Attempted outside interference from Sonny Rocket backfires when Pardon whips Astarte into Sonny then hits his finisher. The Cult goes crazy as their guy jumps in the crowd with his tag title to celebrate with them.
Backstage
Stallion is barking orders to Eugenics to interfere in the next match. Uranus is trying to tell them no, but Stallion ignores his pleas and sends them off.
MAD MAXUS vs. KING TUX & CEPHALOPODIS
Mad Maxus win with MAXUS ATTACKS US! (2.75)
Arctic Empire look on their way to victory after a Glacier Slide when Eugenics Project lumber out of the back. Uranus tries his best to block them from coming down to the aisle. Unfortunately, this causes a distraction in the ring allowing Stallion to sneak in and blast King Tux with LUCKY HORSESHOE. Awesome Finisher and MAXUS ATTACKS US finish the job.
Backstage
Pardon challenges Astarte for the FTR title! "I'm 2-0 against you, time to make it three!"
QUEST vs. MAYHAM
Quest wins with DNA SAMPLE!
Quest "humored" Mayham's attempt to get the spotlight on himself when he implied, he may be responsible for Blue Chip's disappearance.
Quest ends it quick then announced he has narrowed his search and will hold a press conference next week! Quest notices The Man Under the Hood roaming around the crowd and decides to go after him! The Man takes off with Quest in pursuit.
An announcement is made that the following match will be an unsanctioned match!
UNSANCTIONED ALLY FIGHT
SWERVE vs. VACANT
Vacant massacres the Titan in the parking lots of The Launching Pad!
Vacant destroys Swerve yet again! Swerve comes back to action too early and it shows. Fans feel uneasy watching a bloody Swerve refuse to stay down, begrudgingly alternating "Let's Go Swerve/Please Stay Down!" chants. Finally, Swerve passes out from loss of blood in the SPINECRACKER, Vacant standing over his fallen body.

![]()  Highlights of the Press Conferences.
The GWN (Galactic Wrestling Network) has highlights of the trainwrecks that were the Quest and Sonny Rocket Press Conferences. Each man tried to outdo the other, interrupting often with tensions getting higher each time. Sonny announced a new talent initiative he called "The Future of Wrestling is Here!", introduced redesigns to the FTR and FTR tag titles, and introduced a unique new title - The Black Hole Champion- which will be decided at the next special taking place at the Launching Pad. He slips in that although he is still recovering from injuries, Swerve has agreed to terms with the Rocket Men and will be their newest member to the surprise/chagrin of Astarte.
Quest had quips for every announcement that Rocket made - new roster members won't make me forget about the murdered one, gimmick titles don't stop investigations, and he laughed out loud when Swerve was announced as new member. Quest says that makes his announcement even sweeter - Swerve and Astarte are his prime suspects going forward!
"Matter of fact add Sonny Rocket to that list too! Don't know why you're out here telling everyone you're clear! I say when you're clear! All my suspects on one team! Thanks for making my job easier!"
