DragonMaster and Dreadnaught will be tough to beat, but Ursa was just downright horrible...probably my least favorite art of the Carter years.

Ursa's art reminds me of a cross of James Ellsworth & WWECW Colin Delaney witch is perfect for the character.

Chaos also always struck me as a bit hokey - like incomplete. Same can be said for Ursa Major. Related - were you surprised that we didn't get the art that was revealed at The Road To Galacticon this week?

I felt like Chaos looked smooshed in the 2092 card, same with Alpha Force in 2093. I wasn't a huge fan of the 2092/93 artwork. 92 had it's moments, 93 I might like Cannibal and that's it.

Agree that the original Dreadnaught art will be hard to top. But cannot wait to see how it comes up. I’m just enjoying having these alternate colour versions of all these legendary characters. It doesn’t matter too much if the art or look is better or not. I kind of have how the characters should look burned into my brain now. So if a new version doesn’t fit my interpretation I keep with original. But if a killer look comes along (Tendron in particular comes to mind) then that is easily replaced. I hope the reimagined sets go on for many years to come.

I'm kind of liking the Ursa color card, he's dopey in a nice way! At the very least Ursa looks like Ursa... Thantos on the other hand

Never saw Commissioner Zachary Carter as a Chuck Carter clone and I never saw Ursa Major as being small and dopey.
But I guess that’s why they’re being called re-imager sets (never got that either).

Swarm, couldn't agree more with the assessment on Commissioner Carter - I don't think the Commissioner Zachary Carter is a Chuck Carter clone. There is just some Carter art that stands out as iconic (original Thantos; Dreadnaught; Bishop Hell, 2091 Spike; etc.) and some that whiffs (Beast Rider; Chaos; Ursa Major; 2090 Brute; Tendron; etc.). Far more hits than misses there though, I think, and it will be interesting to see what Werner does with Dreadnaught, one of my all time favorites.

I thought the Mulkeys were invading the GWF. Certainly among the most feeble characters I’ve ever seen. Lol
