Just wondering what happens if my subscription lapses and I dont renew it right away or even before it lapses. Do I lose all my fed status ? or does all the info stay around and I just cant access it ?

All of your data is eaten by Internet Gnomes. If you had an especially large amount of data, they'll typically take a picture of their feast and taunt you with it via e-mail.
I'm obviously just kidding. If your sub lapses, your data remains in the system for you to pick back up with when you sign up again. There may come a time where I'll put some automated routines in the system to clean out data for subscriptions that have been lapsed for a long period of time, say a year or so, but those routines don't exist yet (and there will be plenty of notice when they do).
