I was not thinking of it as a big deal. I am more interested in the sources used. My dad says I have enough books, apps, and websites... but I say there is always room for more.

Japanese is a beautiful but very complex language and so it's not a surprise that something like that can happen. We can see the clear intent is Fire Tiger and I'm very curious to see what happens with the character.

KB's wisdom shines through. Perhaps because it's coming out in serial form, things feel so jarring as you're just getting used to a group or team only to have them switch up to two times during a single game year and characters suddenly shifting in tone as well.

Nah... That's not it. I wasn't a fan when Tom did it back in the day with Vendetta and still not a fan of it. We will see where it goes. |

Funny, I didn't see Sonny being written as a drunk... Just a guy that went into a bit of a nosedive when times got a little tougher than he could handle... But, based on what I read, the downward spiral didn't seem to last very long... He just needed to exorcise a few demons and then quickly got back on track... That was my impression anyway.
Fact of the matter -- It's impossible to please everyone... Especially when it comes to projects of creativity... And if you don't like the way certain storylines or character arcs are going in the handbooks, just play them your own way... It's a game... Not a job, not a religion.

Personally I like the direction Sam went with Sonny. Johnny wore a lot of hats in the GWF and it seems fitting that his son would suffer the sins of the father. Walking in his father’s shoes is sure to trigger some demons. That and how many jobs does he have? When you’re burning the candles on both end something is bound to happen. I’m at least interested to see where it goes. I didn’t want to see Sonny Rocket just be a modern version of daddy. So I guess what they say is true. Can’t please everyone but better Sonny be an alcoholic than be addicted Cygnus glue or he’d really have issues!
