This was a great back and forth brawl from the opening bell. The tide turned when the action spilled out of the ring, though. Iveliese gained the advantage and when the action returned to the squared circle, Iveliese pinned Ida Mae after a DESERT EAGLE.

Navajo Warrior vs. Scott ‘Hog’ Irwin
Warrior and Irwin pounded the hell out of each other in this hard-hitting contest. Eventually Navajo gained the advantage and beat Irwin with a MONUMENT VALLEY DRIVER.

CPW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
Dick Hutton & Danny Hodge vs. CPW Tag Team Champions Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams & Ted DiBiase
Hodge was isolated in the champs’ corner early and was forced to withstand quite a bit of punishment. Williams attempted a pin, which Hutton broke up and that allowed Hodge a brief respite, which resulted in Hodge making the tag. The match continued in a back and forth brawl for the remainder of the match with neither team able to gain a decided advantage. The action spilled out of the ring, where Hutton and Williams brawled uncontrollably and the ref ultimately disqualified both men.

CPW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
Dan Severn vs. CPW Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader
Vader came out strong, but Severn sent Vader crashing into the ring steps outside the ring and gained the advantage. Severn locked in a CHOKE SLEEPER and took some of the steam out of Vader before the champ finally escaped. Severn maintained the advantage for several minutes, but ultimately Vader regained his wind and went on the offensive. After another brawl outside the ring, Vader claimed the victory with a RELEASED POWER BOMB.

Williams has Navajo nearly over the top rope and out of the ring, but Warhawk snuck up from behind and dumped Williams over the top rope and out of the ring.
Brown missed a turnbuckle charge on Hutton and tumbled up and over the top rope, out of the ring.

(Play-by-play announcer Mars Leseveren welcomes the fans to Pro Wrestling Weekend and talks about how great the action was last weekend at Battle Brawl and that Don Leo Jonathan is $10,000 richer as he won the Battle Bowl battle royal before telling everyone that Jonathan will be in the ring for our first match.)

Don Leo Jonathan vs. Jake Milliman
Jonathan dominated the match and beat Milliman with the MORMAN SWING.

INTERVIEW: Blackjack Mulligan
The interviewer announces that the next big live event will be called Tournament of Survival and will take place at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield on November 5th. He says the feature of the night will be an eight team 6-man tag team elimination tournament where only the non-eliminated wrestlers advance to the next round. He also announces that CPW Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader will be defending his title at that event against new number one contender Blackjack Mulligan. Mulligan talks about how he’s definitely excited about his opportunity and says he’s been waiting since the night he lost to Vader in the tournament final to get a shot at the belt. Don Leo Jonathan suddenly strolls into the picture and asks for the mic. He tells Mulligan that he means no disrespect, but he can’t believe the Board of Directors wouldn’t name him (Jonathan) the number one contender after winning the Battle Brawl battle royal. Mulligan concedes and says he was a little shocked as well, but he’s more than willing to prove he’s deserving by facing Jonathan on the program next week to determine the true number one contender. Jonathan shakes the big Texan’s hand, accepting the challenge.


(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and talks about the Fabulous Kangaroos and their manager ‘Wild’ Red Berry making their CPW debut in the next match.)

Fabulous Kangaroos (Al Costello & Roy Heffernan) w/ ‘Wild’ Red Berry vs. Rick James & Aaron Phillips
The Roos were all over James & Phillips. Heffernan pinned James after the catapult smash.

INTERVIEW: 2 Bad Bitches (Iveliese & Mercedes Martinez)
The interviewer asks 2 Bad Bitches about taking down Susan Green and Ida Mae Martinez at Battle Brawl. Iveliese and Martinez said they never had a doubt that they’d wipe the mat with those two. They tell the interviewer that it’s now on to bigger and better things as they are putting the entire ladies division on notice, especially CPW Women’s Champion Jazz.

Beverly Shade vs. Toni Rose
Rose dominated the early going, but Shade recovered. Shade looked to have the match won after THE HAMMER, but 2 Bad Bitches hit the ring and attacked both women, causing the referee to declare the match a no contest.

Post match: Referees were able to restore order, but all four women were hot and wanting to fight.

INTERVIEW: CPW Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader
The interviewer asks Vader his thoughts on next week’s number one contender’s match. Vader responds by telling the interviewer that he’s more than willing to play the pain game with either man. He’s already beaten up Mulligan and won’t hesitate to do it again, and he’s more than happy to do the same to Jonathan.


CPW TV TITLE MATCH
Dan Severn vs. CPW TV Champion Tully Blanchard w/ Dark Menace
Blanchard dominated the early going, but Severn battled back. Menace continuously got involved in the match, but his interference ultimately backfired as Severn decked Blanchard with Menace’s cane while the ref was distracted. Severn went for the pin, but two masked men came from the back and attacked Severn, breaking up the pin. The ref disqualified Blanchard as all three men beat down Severn. It took officials several minutes to the restore order as the program went off the air.

Fernandez dominated the match, brutalizing James inside and outside the ring, before putting him away with the FLYING BURRITO.

INTERVIEW: CPW TV Champion Tully Blanchard, Dr. X & The Spoiler w/ Dark Menace
Footage is shown of the end of last week’s episode as the two masked men attacked Dan Severn during his match with Blanchard then delivered a beat down as the show went off the air. The interviewer asks the group about that attack. Dark Menace introduces the fans to the two newest members of his stable, Dr. X and The Spoiler. He talks about how it is growing increasingly difficult for him (Menace) to watch Blanchard’s back on his own, as it was apparent from last week’s match where Severn used a foreign object. Blanchard adds how he appreciates how Dark Menace continues to look out for his best interests and welcomes the addition of X and Spoiler to the stable.


(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and comments on how CPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge and Dick Hutton took the CPW Tag Team Champions to the limit at Battle Brawl and the match ended in a double disqualification. He comments on he doesn’t know when the two teams will meet again, but it will definitely be a barn burner when it happens.)

CPW Tag Team Champions Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams & Ted DiBiase vs. Tyler & Moe Redd
This was a one-sided encounter and DiBiase pinned Moe after a fist drop.

INTERVIEW: CPW Women’s Champion Jazz
The interview comments on how Jazz has so many women gunning for her right now and it seems as if she’s having trouble focusing. Jazz says the loss last week was a fluke and eventually every squirrel will find its nut. She says she’s more than capable of fighting off and focusing on multiple challengers. The interviewer asks Jazz about her title defense against Toni Rose coming up at Tournament of Survival, but before she can answer Iveliese and Mercedes Martinez come into view. Iveliese says she’s calling Jazz out and says that Jazz talks a big game, but she (Iveliese) thinks that’s all it is, talk. She says if Jazz is so confident then why not face her next week in a Battle of Brownson Death Match. Jazz tells Iveliese she’s ready and will see her next week. Martinez grabs the mic and tells Jazz, “From one bad bitch to another, you’re going down next week.”


(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and announces that Bruiser Brody made his return to CPW after a short absence in the Battle Brawl battle royal and looked better than ever.)

Bruiser Brody vs. Bryan White
The fans seemed to be happy to see Brody back on Pro Wrestling Weekend, as Brody got a nice little pop as he came to the ring. Brody toyed with White throughout the match before beating him with a JUMPING KNEE DROP.

INTERVIEW: CPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge & Dick Hutton
The interviewer asks Hodge and Hutton about taking the CPW Tag Team Champions to the limit at Battle Brawl. Hutton comments on how tough the champs are, but how he and Hodge are just as tough. Hodge says he and Hutton are ready for a rematch and have found a third man to join them, suggests the champs should find themselves a third and they will face them in the first round of the Tournament of Survival.

CPW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE NUMBER ONE CONTENDER’S MATCH
Don Leo Jonathan vs. Blackjack Mulligan
This was an all-out brawl from the opening bell. Both men battled back and forth, executing several high impact moves. Mulligan ultimately gained control and made Jonathan submit to the BLACKJACK CLAW.

(Leseveren comments on how he hopes the ring was reinforced before that match because the two combatants were landing some heavy blows. Leseveren closes the show by thanking the fans for watching and invites them to tune in next time.)

He talks about how the matches for that event are starting to flesh themselves out and we'll learn even more about those today. He runs down today's program announcing two huge matches, the Battle in Brownson death match between Iveliese and CPW Women's Champion Jazz and CPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge defending his title against the number one contender Joe Blanchard, before sending it to the ring for the opening match.)

Baron Von Raschke vs. Johnny Mantel
Von Raschke had his hands full with Mantel. Von Raschke absorbed a lot of punishment in began to take its toll. Mantel beat Von Raschke with a swinging neckbreaker.

INTERVIEW: D’Lo Brown, Redd Dogg & 2 Cold Scorpio
The interviewer comments that the trio is obviously entering the Tournament of Survival and asks how they think they will fare. Brown comments on how he feels like all three of them have been underrated and disrespected. Dogg says they are tired of constantly being overlooked for opportunities and the three of them will prove how wrong that is.

Native Blood (Navajo Warrior & Johnny Warhawk) vs. Tyler & Moe Redd
Native Blood dominated the match and Navajo pinned Redd after a MONUMENT VALLEY DRIVER.

INTERVIEW: Fabulous Kangaroos (Al Costello & Roy Heffernan) w/ ‘Wild’ Red Berry
The interviewer talks about the Roos' successful debut a couple weeks ago and asks them how they feel they stack up against the other teams in CPW. Berry says that Costello and Heffernan have something that most of the teams in CPW don't have and that's international experience against the best teams in the world. Costello tells the interviewer that it is only a matter of time before they will add the CPW Tag Team Title belts to their collection. Heffernen adds that it doesn't matter which team has the belt at the time, but when they get their opportunity the Roos will win the belts.


(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and announces that the Battle in Brownson death match is up next and that the CPW Women's Title will not be on the line.)

BATTLE IN BROWNSON NON-TITLE DEATH MATCH
Iveliese w/Mercedes Martinez vs. CPW Women’s Champion Jazz
Jazz overpowered Iveliese early on, but Martinez interfered once the match spilled out of the ring and Ivevliese took over. Iveliese dragged a table in the ring and positioned Jazz on top of it. Iveliese hit a top rope flipping back splash, sending both women through the table. Iveliese recovered and delivered multiple DESERT EAGLES and could not put Jazz away. The action again moved out of the ring, where Jazz tried to battle back, but Martinez got involved again, grabbing Jazz from behind and allowing Iveliese to smash Jazz in the face with a chair. Jazz was rolled back in the ring, where Iveliese delivered a final DESERT EAGLE and made the pin.

INTERVIEW: Dan Severn
Footage is once again shown from Battle Brawl of the attack by Dr. X and The Spoiler on Severn then the beat down that followed before the interviewer asks Severn for his comments. After viewing the footage, Severn rubs his chin and tells the interviewer that he guesses he got his ass kicked, but he's not deterred. He'll get another chance at Tully Blanchard and the CPW TV Title. Suddenly, Blanchard, Dr. X and Spoiler attack Severn. With Dark Menace directing traffic, the numbers quickly take their toll, but to everyone's surprise Bruiser Brody and a returning Stan Hansen rush to the aid of Severn. Brody has a chain and Hansen a bull whip as they start swinging at anything that moves. Dark Menace's stable quickly evacuates the area as Brody and Hansen help Severn to his feet.


(Leseveren talks about his surprise at the return of Stan Hansen and his bigger surprise that Brody and Hansen came to the aid of Severn. He segues to the final feature match of the program for the CPW Jr. Heavyweight Title.)

CPW JR. HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
Joe Blanchard vs. CPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge
Both men battled back and forth for several minutes before the action spilled out of the ring. The brawl escalated and Hodge slammed Blanchard through a ringside table, drawing the disqualification.

(Leseveren comments on Hodge taking advantage of the champion's advantage of not losing the title on a disqualification and says Blanchard should have a rematch in his future. Leseveren closes the program by thanking the fans for watching and invites them to tune in next time.)

Scott Casey vs. Johnny Mitch
Casey had an early advantage, but Mitch was able to recover. Mitch worked Casey over for a few minutes, but Casey countered and beat Mitch with a BULLDOG.

INTERVIEW: So Cal Val
The interviewer welcomes Val to CPW and asks what has brought her to the Centennial State. Val says she has always surrounded herself with the best athletes in the world and she plans to do the same in CPW. The interviewer asks her about the computer tablet she has in her hand and Val explains that it is a state of the art artificial intelligence named Strategy-X and she is assured that it will develop a winning strategy for any wrestler she brings into her stable. Finally, the interviewer asks if she has her eyes on anyone specific and Val comments that she wouldn't be here if she didn't, but she's going to play things rather close to the vest right now.

Fernandez talks about how he's been training with Native Blood since coming to CPW and that they are two of the toughest, strongest dudes he's ever trained with and has no doubt they will make a good showing next weekend. Navajo agrees and adds he can't think of two better partners while Warhawk says he can't wait until next week.

This match ended quickly as Dogg made Moe submit to the BLACKOUT.

INTERVIEW: Baron Von Raschke
The interviewer asks Von Raschke about his match last week against Johnny Mantell. Von Raschke admits Mantell got the best of him, but it won't happen again. He suggests that Mantell finds a couple of partners and face Von Raschke's team in the first round at Tournament of Survival.

Bruiser Brody vs. CPW TV Champion Tully Blanchard w/ Dark Menace
Brody was a freight train in this match. Blanchard and Menace did everything they could think of to gain control of Brody, but nothing seemed to work. Blanchard did gain a couple of near falls, but Brody was not to be denied and had Blanchard pinned, but Dr. X and The Spoiler hit the ring and attacked Brody, leading to a disqualification for Blanchard. Dan Severn and Stan Hansen came out from the back and a wild brawl ensued. Referees and security took several minutes trying to regain order.

Venis was all over White and the action spilled out of the ring. Venis delivered a Russian leg sweep outside the ring and White was counted out.

The interviewer asks Shade about her thoughts on the women's division and Shade says she believes Jazz's days as champion are numbered, but she says she (Shade) still has some unfinished business with 2 Bad Bitches. Shade says she still owes some payback for their attack several weeks ago and challenges them to a match next week.

Jazz seemed to be pretty angry in this match. Jazz delivered a fisherman's buster outside the ring and Jackson was counted out.

The interviewer asks Irslinger his thoughts on the CPW Jr. Heavyweight Title match a couple weeks ago and Irslinger says Danny Hodge should be ashamed of himself. He says Joe Blanchard really isn't championship material, but Hodge doesn't need to stoop to using weapons outside the ring. Irslinger says his skill is superior to both men and he'll prove it in the ring.[/i]


(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and talks about how Johnny Mantell has accepted Baron Von Rashcke's challenge and will be joined at ringside by his partners.)

Both men battled back and forth until Mantell gained the advantage and tossed Taylor out of the ring. Mantell distracted the ref while DiBiase and Williams attacked Taylor outside the ring. Williams delivered a Doctor Bomb then rolled Taylor back in the ring. Mantell delivered a RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP and made the pin.

Post-match: Mantell, DiBiase and Williams attacked Taylor after the bell when Baron Von Raschke, joined by Dick Hutton and CPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge, ran to the ring and made the save.

INTERVIEW: Long Riders (‘Wild’ Bill & Scott ‘Hog’ Irwin)
The interviewer comments on how it's been a little while since we've seen the Long Riders in the ring and asks them what they've been up to. The Irwins explain that it's none of the interviewer's business and all he needs to know is they are back and ready to make a run at the CPW Tag Team Championship.

Dan Severn, Bruiser Brody & Stan Hansen vs. CPW TV Champion Tully Blanchard, Dr. X & The Spoiler w/ Dark Menace
Both teams battled back and forth, executing multiple tags. The first eliminations came when Severn and Blanchard brawled uncontrollably outside the ring and both men were disqualified. Brody and Hansen dominated the match from that point on. Hansen eliminated Dr. X after a piledriver. Hansen eliminated Spoiler with a LARIAT.
SURVIVORS: Bruiser Brody & Stan Hansen

Post match: The Fabulous Kangaroos attack Brody and Hansen. Brody and Hansen battle back and a huge brawl ensues around the ring. It takes officials several minutes to regain order so the matches could continue.

TOURNAMENT OF SURVIVAL FIRST ROUND
Joe Blanchard, Don Leo Jonathan & Scott Casey vs. ‘Wild’ Red Berry & Fabulous Kangaroos (Al Costello & Roy Heffernan)
Tempers flared as the action spilled out of the ring. Jonathan slammed Heffernan through a ringside table as the ref warned him against it. Jonathan was disqualified. The Roos took advantage of the numbers as they controlled the match and eliminated Blanchard with the BOOMERANG. Casey fought hard, but the 3 on 1 advantage proved to be too much and Casey was eliminated with the BOOMERANG.

TOURNAMENT OF SURVIVAL FIRST ROUND
Manny Fernandez & Native Blood (Navajo Warrior & Johnny Warhawk) vs. 2 Cold Scorpio, D’Lo Brown & Redd Dogg
After multiple tags by both teams and some excellent back and forth action, Dogg eliminated Fernandez with the BLACKOUT. The action continued in this back and forth brawl until it spilled out of the ring and the referee finally grew tired of giving leeway outside the ring and disqualified Navajo for smashing Brown with the ring steps. Warhawk fought valiantly and did a really good job of hanging in, but eventually the numbers proved to be too much and Brown pinned a very fatigued Warhawk with the LO DOWN.

TOURNAMENT OF SURVIVAL FIRST ROUND
Baron Von Raschke, Dick Hutton & Danny Hodge vs. Johnny Mantel, CPW Tag Team Champion Ted DiBiase & Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams
The action was fast and furious in the early going. After a couple of early near falls Mantel and Hutton brawled outside the ring, ignoring the referee's warning. After several minutes, the ref disqualified both men. DiBiase took control of the match and eliminated Hodge with a FULL POWER SLAM. DiBiase and Williams used multiple tags to keep Von Raschke off balance, but Von Raschke continued to battle back. The action spilled out of the ring while Von Raschke brawled with Williams. Both men pounded on each other, not paying attention to referee's warnings. The ref was left with no choice but to disqualify both men.

CPW WOMEN’S TITLE MATCH
Toni Rose vs. CPW Women’s Champion Jazz
Jazz was all over Rose and quickly made her submit to the BITCH CLAMP.

Post match: Jazz grabbed the ring mic and called out Iveliese, telling her that she's here to prove she is the most dominant woman in CPW, and Iveliese has an ass kickin' coming her way. Mercedes Martinez came out and accused Jazz of being insecure and how she should be ashamed of herself when suddenly Iveliese attacks from behind. Martinez joins Iveliese in the ring and the 2 Bad Bitches double team Jazz and leave her laying in a bloody heap in the center of the ring.


(During intermission the next big super card is announced. It's announced CPW will be home for the holidays as Hometown Throwdown will take place on Saturday, December 3rd at Denver Coliseum.)


TOURNAMENT OF SURVIVAL SEMIFINAL
Bruiser Brody & Stan Hansen vs. ‘Wild’ Red Berry & Fabulous Kangaroos (Al Costello & Roy Heffernan)
The Roos isolated Brody and wore him down, but Brody wasn't going quietly. Costello managed to surprise Brody with a flying body press and make the pin. This left Hansen 3 on 1, but he didn't seem to care a whole lot as he immediately tore into Costello. Costello battled back before his team used quick tags to work over Hansen. The match continued for several minutes with Hansen absorbing a lot of punishment before eliminating Costello with a LARIAT. Hansen continued to fight, but the numbers eventually proved to be too much and Heffernan made Hansen submit to a STEP OVER TOEHOLD after Berry smashed Hansen in the back of the knee with his cane.

Post match: Berry entered the ring and continued to beat Hansen with his cane as Heffernan also put the boots to him. Officials restored order and attempted to help Hansen to the back, but he shoved them away and hobbled to the back under his own power.

TOURNAMENT OF SURVIVAL SEMIFINAL
2 Cold Scorpio, D’Lo Brown & Redd Dogg vs. Ted DiBiase
DiBiase gave it all he had, but he really didn’t stand a chance. The action spilled out of the ring, where DiBiase used a chair on Brown and drew the disqualification.

CPW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
Blackjack Mulligan vs. CPW Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader
Vader completely dominated this match and pinned Mulligan with a MOONSAULT.

TOURNAMENT OF SURVIVAL FINAL
'Wild' Red Berry & Roy Heffernan vs. 2 Cold Scorpio, D’Lo Brown & Redd Dogg
The action started out fast and furious as both teams battled back and forth. Scorpio looked to have things going his way until Berry clocked him from behind with his cane and Heffernan made the pin. The action continued nearly immediately as Redd Dogg came into the ring and brutalized Heffernan. The action continued back and forth with both teams executing multiple tags. Brown ultimately gained the advantage and pinned Heffernan with the LO DOWN. Berry saw the writing on the wall and decided instead of staying in the ring and possibly taking a beating, he returned to the back with his man and took a count out.

(Play-by-play announcer Mars Leseveren welcomes the fans to the program and comments on what a great event Tournament of Survival was. He explains both Jazz and Big Van Vader retained the their titles in dominant fashion and that the team of Redd Dogg & D’Lo Brown were the survivors of the tournament. He also mentions the announcement of Hometown Showdown coming up in a few weeks at the Denver Colliseum. Leseveren then runs down the program focusing on the featured grudge match between Beverly Shade and Mercedes Martinez as well as Tully Blanchard’s TV Title defense against Don Leo Johnathan.)

Joe Blanchard vs. Henry Irslinger
Irslinger was primed to put his money where his mouth was, but Blanchard had something to say about it. Blanchard controlled most of the match and made Irslinger submit to an ABDOMINAL STRETCH.

INTERVIEW: Jazz
The interviewer asks Jazz about defending her title against Iveliese at Hometown Showdown. Jazz says it’s going to be a fight and she’ll show Iveliese exactly what being a bad bitch is all about. The interviewer then asks about Jazz’s thoughts on Beverly Shade’s match against Mercedes Martinez, mentioning Iveliese will most certainly be in her corner. Jazz responds by saying she and Shade are by no means friends or even allies, but she (Jazz) will be focused on Iveliese.


(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and talks about how CPW Tag Team Champions Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams & Ted DiBiase partnered with Johnny Mantell at Tournament of Survival to face the team that will challenge them at Hometown Showdown, Dick Hutton & CPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge, who were joined by Baron Von Raschke in a first round match up. Leseveren announces when the dust cleared, DiBiase was the only one to survive the match.)

CPW Tag Team Champions Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams & Ted DiBiase vs. Rick James & Aaron Phillips
The champs make quick work of their opponents as DiBiase pinned Phillips with a FULL POWER SLAM.

INTERVIEW: Dick Hutton & Danny Hodge
The interviewer asks Hutton and Hodge about challenging CPW Tag Team Champions Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams & Ted DiBiase at Hometown Showdown. Hutton talks about both teams should be getting pretty comfortable with each other by now. He says if what happened at Tournament of Survival was any indication then Katie better bar the door because the ring may not be able to contain the fight. Hodge talks about how both teams are evenly matched and it will probably be the first team to make a mistake that loses the match. Suddenly, Williams and DiBiase appear and the interviewer says he doesn’t want any trouble. The champs say there will be no trouble and they just wanted to let their challengers know that it’s definitely going to be a fight and the better team will win. Williams concludes by saying that if anyone was wondering, it’s the champs before he and DiBiase walk off.


(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and announces it’s time for the grudge match between Beverly Shade and Mercedes Martinez. He also mentions CPW Women’s Champion Jazz will have a close eye on this one.)

Beverly Shade vs. Mercedes Martinez w/ Iveliese
This was a brutal match as both women beat the crap out of each other, inside and outside the ring. The match went back and forth the entire way, but things eventually looked bleak for Shade as Iveliese inserted herself in the match. CPW Women’s Champion Jazz came from the back and neutralized Iveliese, allowing Shade to connect with THE HAMMER and win the match.

INTERVIEW: Dan Severn
The interviewer says Severn has a big match on next week’s program when he challenges CPW TV Champion Tully Blanchard for the title. Severn responds by talking about how Blanchard has had a stranglehold on the title since it was introduced, but if anyone knows about strangleholds it’s him (Severn) and that if anyone knows how to break up a stranglehold, it’s him and that exactly what he’s going to do next week.


(Leseveren welcomes the fans back and announces how it’s time for the TV Title match. He also mentions that the winner will be considered the number one contender for the CPW Heavyweight Title and face Big Van Vader at Hometown Showdown.)

CPW TV TITLE MATCH
Don Leo Jonathan vs. CPW TV Champion Tully Blanchard w/ Dark Menace
Blanchard had an early advantage as Jonathan rolled out of the ring. Menace attempted to whack Jonathan from behind with his cane, but Jonathan turned and caught the cane mid-swing, then broke it over his knee. Menace begged off, but was ultimately decked by Johnathan. A significantly riled up Johnathan returned to the ring and took the action to the champ. Blanchard ended up in the fight of his life, but proved to be up to the challenge. After several minutes of back and forth action, Blanchard beat Johnathan with a SLINGSHOT SUPLEX.

Post match: Johnathan is almost immediately attacked by The Spoiler and Dr. X. Suddenly, Bruiser Brody and Stan Hansen hit the ring and help Johnathan clean house. The trio tells The Spoiler and Dr. X to find a third and they will face them at Hometown Throwdown.
