ROCKY MOUNTAIN PRO WRESTLING 1 WRESTLING NATION 07-22-23 1STBANK CENTER BROOMFIELD, CO
(INTRO)
(Marco Epstein and Dark Menace are at the announce position near the ring.)
Epstein: Hello and welcome to 1 Wrestling Nation. I'm Marco Epstein, joined by The Dark Menace.
DM: Again, happy to grace everyone with my presence.
Epstein: We have a great show in store for you today. RMPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge will be in action, as will The Greco Grapplers.
DM: All men are very fine wrestlers and in the words of Sgt. Slaughter, that’s what’s on the marquee.
Epstein: Indeed, it is. We’re just a few minutes away from hearing from the RMPW Heavyweight Champion, but first it’s the in-ring debut of Bad New Allen. Let’s go to the ring. Bad News Allen vs. Tom ‘Rocky’ Stone Allen was all over Stone and beat him with the GHETTO BLASTER.
Epstein: A solid debut by Bad News Allen.
DM: Definitely a dominant performance.
Epstein: Do you think you’d be interested in managing Bad News?
DM: The man has made it abundantly clear that he works alone.
Epstein: I guess he has. Fans, Lola Patterson is standing by with RMPW Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader. Lola, take it away.
(Lola Patterson is in the locker room with a very angry RMPW Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader)
Patterson: Vader, you obviously have unfinished business with Stan Hansen. You get an opportunity to settle the score at Summer Bash, but you have to put the RMPW Heavyweight Title on the line.
Vader: It doesn’t matter what’s on the line. Stan Hansen, you and I, we go way back. We have had epic battles in the past and yes, he tried to blind me. He says it was an accident, but he and I know the truth. The truth is I’m better than you and you know it. I’m the best big man in wrestling and you are scared. Summer Bash … it’s time. It’s Vader time!
(Pre-recorded promo by 2 Cold Scorpio)
Scorpio: Hey, hey, hey … 2 Cold in the house. Danny Hodge, you got sumthin’ I want and it’s the Jr. Heavyweight Championship belt and I’m comin’ to get it at Summer Bash. Look out … here come 2 Cold Scorpio!
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: Here comes 2 Cold Scorpio indeed. Two championship matches announced for Summer Bash … Scorpio challenges Danny Hodge for the RMPW Jr. Heavyweight Title and Big Van Vader defends the RMPW Heavyweight Title against Stan Hansen.
DM: Vader and Hansen are just going to beat the hell out of each other, and talk about a contrast in styles … Hodge is going to have a hard time keeping Scorpio grounded.
Epstein: Another title match has been signed for Summer Bash as well, as it looks as if the board of directors has deemed the Long Riders as number one contenders for the tag team titles.
DM: The Irwins have had some success as of late, but I still think they will be no match for the champs.
Epstein: I tend to agree. Let’s go to the ring as one of the champs we discussed is in action.
RMPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge vs. Tyler Redd Hodge put on quite the display before pinning Redd with the OKLAHOMA SIDE ROLL
(Lola Patterson is in the locker room with The Long Riders (‘Wild’ Bill Irwin & Scott ‘Hog’ Irwin))
Patterson: I’m here with The Long Riders and gentlemen, you’ve recently been named the number one contenders for the RMPW Tag Team Titles. What makes you think this time will go differently than when you challenged the champs in the past?
Bill: Watch who you’re callin’ gentlemen missy. We are going to be far from gentle when we face the champs at Summer Bash.
Scott: It sounds like DiBiase and Williams are a little full of themselves and confident … maybe a little too confident, and that’s exactly what my brother and I are going to capitalize on.
Bill: That’s right, just you watch … The Long Riders are walking out of Summer Bash the new RMPW Tag Team Champions.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: Welcome back to the program fans and it has been pretty well documented in the first several episodes of 1 Wrestling Nation just how crazy the feud between Sgt. Slaughter and Baron Von Raschke has been.
DM: It’s really kind of a farce, and you’ve got Dick Hutton, The Crusher, and now it seems Bob Backlund involved. When will the madness stop?
Epstein: It probably won’t be with the next match as Slaughter and Hutton team up to take on The Greco Grapplers.
Sgt. Slaughter & Dick Hutton vs. The Greco Grapplers (Jim Londos & George Tragos) Slaughter, who was still sporting a bandage on his head from the injury he suffered at The Happening, and Hutton overpowered their opponents early, but Londos and Tragos battled back. They began to give Slaughter and Hutton fits with their submission wrestling and ultimately Londos made Slaughter submit to a short arm scissors.
After the match, Londos and Tragos were celebrating their victory when Slaughter and Hutton attacked. Slaughter locked Londos in the COBRA CLUTCH while Hutton had Tragos in an abdominal stretch, making Tragos watch his partner losing consciousness. Suddenly, The Crusher, Bob Backlund and Baron Von Raschke hit the ring, running the assailants off.
(Bob Backlund grabs the mic.)
Backlund: Slaughter! You talk about wrestling being on the marquee, but you’re far from a wrestler with actions like that. You want to face a wrestler? How about you face one of the best in world. Face me! I’m a wrestler! Face me at Summer Bash and I’ll give you a wrestling lesson you’ll never forget.

Epstein: Welcome back fans. It’s time for today’s featured match.
DM: RMPW TV Champion Baron Von Raschke will defend his title against Redd Dogg in what should be a very intriguing brawl.
RMPW TV TITLE MATCH Redd Dogg w/ Jazz vs. RMPW TV Champion Baron Von Raschke Von Raschke was all over Dogg, but Dogg endured. Dogg managed to survive two BRAIN CLAWS, but not a third and was forced to submit.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: The power in Baron Von Raschke’s hand it phenominal.
DM: I definitely don’t want to be on the other end of his BRAIN CLAW, that’s for sure.
Epstein: Same goes for me. Fans, we’re out of time. For The Dark Menace, I’m Marco Epstein and we’ll talk to you next time.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN PRO WRESTLING 07-21-23 CHEYENNE FRONTIER DAYS CHEYENNE, WY
Ted DiBiase vs. Al Snow Snow came out fast, but DiBiase endured and pinned Snow with a FULL POWER SLAM.
RMPW TV Champion Baron Von Raschke & The Crusher vs. Long Riders (‘Wild’ Bill & Scott ‘Hog’ Irwin) After a brief back and forth brawl, Von Raschke was disqualified after he smashed Scott with a chair while outside the ring.
Vivian Vachon vs. Angelina Love Both women battled back and forth until Love took the match over, ultimately beating Vachon with the BOTOX INJECTION.
2 Cold Scorpio vs. Marty Jannetty Scorpio had an early advantage, but Jannetty battled back. Jannetty proved his moxy throughout the match, but Scorpio was too much and put Jannetty away with a flying body press.
RMPW Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader & Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams vs. Stan Hansen & Ox Baker This match was a wild brawl from the open bell. All four men worked to tear the house down before Vader nearly sent Baker through the mat with a RELEASED POWER BOMB to gain the victory for his team.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN PRO WRESTLING 1 WRESTLING NATION 07-29-23 1STBANK CENTER BROOMFIELD, CO
(INTRO)
(Marco Epstein and Dark Menace are at the announce position near the ring.)
Epstein: Welcome to another episode of 1 Wrestling Nation. I’m Marco Epstein, joined by the incomparable Dark Menace.
DM: Greetings and salutations.
Epstein: We are one week away from Summer Bash and matches are still being signed. As a matter of fact, Lola Patterson is in the ring waiting to interview the challenger for Mercedes Martinez’s RMPW Women’s Title. Lola?
(Lola Patterson is in the ring with Beverly Shade.)
Patterson: Thanks, Marco. I’m here with Beverly Shade. Beverly, Mercedes Martinez has no doubt been a dominant champion. The question that really remains is can she be beaten?
Shade: Of course she can, and I am more than willing to be the one to do it.
Patterson: What makes you think you can succeed where so many else have failed.
Shade: (Pointing to her arm) The hammer has taken out plenty of foes and I plan to make the champ the next in line.
Patterson: Very well. Good luck.
(Patterson exits the ring as the referee enters and the match begins.)
Beverly Shade vs. Michelle Jackson Shade showed she was in prime shape, beating Jackson with THE HAMMER.
(Pre-recorded comments from Disciples of Chaos (Vampiro & Sinn Bohdi) w/ Father James Mitchell)
(Vampiro and Bohdi flank Mitchell. Vampiro stands brooding as Bohdi stands, flinching ever so slightly.) Mitchell: My name is Father James Mitchell and I have put together a team that draws power from a dark hold, making them a challenge like none other.
Bohdi: Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention please. Bring your attention to me as I show you something you have never seen before. It is the darkness of Sinn Bohdi … hahahaha!
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: Welcome back to the program fans. Our next match could be a main event anywhere in the county.
DM: Careful there, Epstein. You could get sued for trademark infringement with that one. I will say though, this could be a surprisingly great match.
Epstein: It will definitely be something as the ‘Laughing Man’ meets ‘The Man That Made Milwaukee Famous’.
Hugh Morris vs. The Crusher This match broke down quickly as the action spilled out of the ring. Both men brawled around the ringside area with reckless abandon until the ref was left with no choice but to disqualify both men.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: That match certainly escalated quickly.
DM: I think we would get more out of these matches if the officials weren’t so quick to disqualify the participants.
Epstein: I’m sorry but dems the rules good sir. Speaking of rules, they may get thrown out the window at Summer Bash when Sgt. Slaughter steps into the ring with Bob Backlund. Lola Patterson is standing by in the locker room with the Sarge.
(Lola Patterson is in the locker room with Sgt. Slaughter.)
Patterson: Thanks, Marco. Sgt. Slaughter, you have accepted Bob Backlund’s challenge for Summer Bash.
Slaughter: Backlund, you scum. You call me out? You challenge me? Careful what you wish for, you maggot. I’ll even take it one farther. You think you can out wrestle me? Let’s see how long you can last in a best two out of three falls match. You better come ready for a war, and that’s an order.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: Welcome back, fans. We just learned during the break that the match between Sgt. Slaughter and Bob Backlund at Summer Bash will indeed be best two out of three falls.
DM: I think Sgt. Slaughter may’ve gone off the deep end here. I can’t believe he would challenge someone with the stamina of Bob Backlund to an even longer match than normal.
Epstein: Well with the way Sgt. Slaughter has gone on since debuting in RMPW, I would definitely have to contend he’s got a screw loose. That being said, Slaughter is a master strategist in and out of the ring so I won’t be surprised if he has something up his sleeve. Next up we’ve got the challengers for the RMPW Tag Team Titles at Summer Bash ready to go in the ring.
The Long Riders (‘Wild’ Bill Irwin & Scott ‘Hog’ Irwin) vs. & Johnny Mitch & Jake Milliman The Irwins definitely proved their worth as number one contenders for the RMPW Tag Team Titles in this match, operating as a well-oiled machine with their fluid double teams. Bill had Milliman in trouble after an attack with his bullwhip before putting away ‘The Milkman’ with a FLOAT KICK.
(Pre-recorded promo from the World Class Cowboys Scott Casey & Sam Houston)
Houston: We’re putting the RMWA tag team division on notice … especially the champs DiBiase and Williams. Scotty and I are two of the hardest working men in this industry and we expect that hard work to pay off in a big way.
Casey: That’s right, Sam. Anyone that steps between the ropes with us better pack a lunch because it’s going to be a long day at the office.

Epstein: Fans, it’s time for today’s feature contest and I hope you’re ready.
Menace: Stan Hansen can’t wait to tear RMPW Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader apart at Summer Bash so I do not envy Hansen’s opponent here today.
Epstein: I hope Al Snow has his health insurance paid up because I feel like he may need it after this match.
Stan Hansen vs. Al Snow There was no denying Hansen was going to win this match the way he plowed through Snow. Hansen beat Snow with THE LARIAT.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: That went just about how I expected.
DM: Most definitely. The trainer is definitely going to want to get the ice tube filled up for Al Snow.
Epstein: Indeed. Fans, we’re out of time. For The Dark Menace, I’m Marco Epstein saying we’ll talk to you next time.

(INTRO)
(Marco Epstein and Dark Menace are at the announce position near the ring.)
Epstein: Hello and welcome to 1 Wrestling Nation. I’m Marco Epstein and I’m joined once again by The Dark Menace. Dark Menace it is Summer Bash weekend and I am hyped.
DM: It’s definitely going to be an exciting event.
Epstein: We’ll talk about a lot of those matches here today, but we will also see the in-ring debut of one of the weirdest teams I’ve seen in a long time, and I’m taling about the Disciples of Chaos.
DM: I’m familiar with Father James Mitchell’s work and it does not surprise me at all that he has put this duo together.
Epstein: That debut is coming up a little later on. Right now we’ll head to the ring for today’s opening match.
Debbie Malenko vs. Vivian Vachon Both women battled back and forth. Malenko gained a couple near falls before Vachon recovered and gained a couple near falls of her own. The action continued back and forth until the bell rang and the match was declared a time limit draw.
(Pre-recorded comments from Angelina Love) Love: Things really haven’t gone the way I’ve wanted since debuting here, but that’s all about to change. We have a new name, a new show and starting with my next match, a new Angelina Love. It’s going to be beautiful. (Love winks and blows a kiss to the camera.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: Welcome back fans and it’s time for the in-ring debut of the Disciples of Chaos.
DM: Father James Mitchell is known for finding the oddities in wrestling and this team of his is no different.
Disciples of Chaos (Vampiro & Sinn Bohdi) w/ Father James Mitchell vs. Tyler & Moe Redd The Disciples had their way with the Redds and made them suffer. The end came when Bohdi pinned Tyler after TALLULAH BELLE.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: Definitely a strong debut for Father James Mitchell’s duo. Now let’s go to the locker room, where Lola Patterson is standing by with Da Crush, Lola?
(Lola Patterson is in the locker room with The Crusher.)
Patterson: Thank you Marco. I am indeed here with The Crusher and Crush, you will face off with Dick Hutton at Summer Bash. Can I get your thoughts and this challenge?
Crusher: Ahhh … when I’m done with that bum, he won’t be coming back for seconds. Dick Hutton has aligned himself with that good for nothin’ Sgt. Slaughter and they’re whinin’ and complainin’ about us guys roughin’ ‘em up a little bit. Ya know what? That’s pro wrestlin’, plain and simple. And Hutton is going to get a pro wrestlin’ lesson at Summer Bash.
Patterson: The Crusher is ready to go for Summer Bash. We’ll be right back.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: Welcome back fans. I think we’ve done a pretty good job of highlighting the title matches for Summer Bash, but let’s talk about some of the undercard. Before the break you heard from The Crusher, who will face Dick Hutton, and of course, Sgt. Slaughter will meet Bob Backlund in a best two out of three falls match. Dark Menace, one match we haven’t mentioned yet is the Disciples of Chaos taking on The Greco Grappler.
DM: I’m not sure Londos and Tragos stand a chance against Father James Mitchell’s team to be frank with you. They’re just too unorthodox, I don’t think the Greeks will know what to do with them.
Epstein: Well right now The Greco Grapplers face a team with so mystery about them in Project X. Let’s head to the ring.
The Greco Grapplers (Jim Londos & George Tragos vs. Project X (Mr. X & Dr. X) Both teams battled back and forth inside and outside the ring, both executing multiple tags. The ref proved to not be in the mood for shenanigans when he disqualified Dr. X shortly after he slammed Londos through a ringiside table.
(Pre-recorded promo from ‘Jumpin’ Jim Brunzell) Brunzell: I’ve been biding my time since arriving here and now it’s time to strike. I’ve been assured that regardless of who is the Jr. Heavyweight Champion after Summer Bash. I’m next in line for a title shot, so look out, ‘Jumpin’ Jim Brunzell is jumping at the chance to wear that belt.

DM: I think it’s bad news any time you get into the ring with Bad News, but today it will be especially bad for Yukon Eric.
Bad News Allen vs. Yukon Eric This was a brutal brawl as the action spilled out of the ring early. Eric was nearly counted out at one point after Allen delivered a vicious beat down outside the ring. Eric recovered, but Brown continued his assault and eventually got the victory with a GHETTO BLASTER.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: A couple more wins like that and Bad News Allen will definitely be in line for a shot at a title. Fans, we’re out of time. ROCKY MOUNTAIN PRO WRESTLINGSUMMER BASH08-05-23 SCOTIABANK SADDLEDOME CALGARY, AB ‘Jumpin’ Jim Brunzell vs. Jerry LynnThis was a very entertaining opening contest. Brunzell maintained the advantage early on, but Lynn made a comeback. Brunzell regained the advantage and poured on the offense using a HIGH FLYING DROPKICK to secure the victory. Yukon Eric vs. Ox BakerThis was an all-out brawl, inside and outside the ring. Neither man could gain a decided advantage for very long as they continued to pound on each other. Eventually Baker got Eric in a compromised position and connected with a solid HEART PUNCH to get the pinfall. Post match: Yukon Eric was still prone on the mat when two men with shaved heads, wearing leather jackets that have a skull and cross bones on the back, joined Baker in the ring and delivered a vicious beat down to the already downed Eric. When the carnage was complete the shorter of the two men handed Baker a leather jacket with a skull and bones on the back. Baker slid it on and proclaimed, “We are the Bald Brotherhood!”Vivian & Luna Vachon vs. Debbie Malenko & JazzThe Vachons were all over their opponents early. They isolated Jazz and gained several near falls. Jazz survived and managed to make the hot tag to Malenko. Malenko came in attacking. Vivian was knocked to the floor before Malenko locked Luna in the crossface chicken wing and made Luna submit. Dick Hutton vs. The CrusherThis match almost immediately turned into an all out brawl. Crusher wore Hutton out, but Hutton managed to survive. Da Crush wasn't able to put Hutton away with back to back CRUSHER BOLOS, and Hutton managed a comeback. Crusher recovered and battled back with a vengeance, making Hutton submit to the CRUSHSER NELSON. Disciples of Chaos (Vampiro & Sinn Bohdi) w/ Father James Mitchell vs. The Greco Grapplers (Jim Londos & George TragosBoth teams battled back and forth throughout most of the match. Both teams executed multiple tags successful double teams before the DoC gained the advantage and put their opponents away. Bohdi pinned Londos after TALLULAH BELLE. Post match: The action continued after the bell as DoC continued the fight. Both teams brawled for several minutes before security could get both teams back to the locker room.BEST 2 OUT OF 3 FALL MATCH Sgt. Slaughter vs. Bob Backlund (Iron Sheik attacks)Backlund was all over Slaughter from the opening bell. Slaughter battled back, but Backland recovered. Backlund gained several near falls before Slaughter slammed Backlund through a ringside table, gaining a disqualification from the ref. This put Backlund up 1-0 in the best of three falls. After a one minute rest period the match progressed with the second fall. The action was back and forth briefly before Backlund again gained the upper hand. Backlund delivered an ATOMIC DROP, which looked to put Slaughter away, but as Backlund went for the pin, an individual appeared from under the ring and attacked Backlund from behind, earning Slaughter his second disqualification of the match. Post match: Slaughter recovered and joined Iron Sheik in beating down Backlund before Baron Von Raschke hit the ring with a chair, clearing it of the attackers.RMPW WOMEN’S TITLE MATCH Beverly Shade vs. Mercedes MartinezMartinez dominated the early going, but Shade may have been lulling Martinez into a false sense of security as once the action spilled out of the ring, Shade pounced. Shade gained a near fall after THE HAMMER then was all over Martinez. Martinez seemed overwhelmed when the action once again spilled out of the ring and slammed Shade through a ringside table. The ref disqualified Martinez. RMPW JR. HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH 2 Cold Scorpio vs. RMPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Danny HodgeThis match may've been the best so far. Scorpio definitely brought his A game and held his own against the champ throughout the match. Both men battled throughout the match, each gaining multiple near falls. The match was approaching its time limit when the action spilled out of the ring and both men brawled uncontrollably. Scorpio was the first to grab a chair and smash Hodge. Hodge retaliated and both men were disqualified. ROCKY MOUNTAIN PRO WRESTLING1 WRESTLING NATION08-12-23 BREEDEN FIELDHOUSE BOZEMAN, MT (INTRO) (Marco Epstein and Dark Menace are at the announce position near the ring.) Epstein: Hello and welcome to 1 Wrestling Nation. I’m Marco Epstein along with the Dark Menace and sir, Summer Bash was an outstanding event. DM: It was a great event and the best thing about it is we have a new Rocky Mountain Pro Wrestling Champion. Epstein: That is correct as Stan Hansen knocked off the only heavyweight champion this wrestling organization has known. We will continue to talk about Summer Bash during the next couple of weeks, but I will have an announcement about the next big event we’ll be taking part in coming up on Labor Day weekend. Stay tuned for that, but first let’s head to the ring for our opening contest. Hugh Morris w/ Father James Mitchell vs. Al SnowMorris brutalized Snow throughout the match, gaining a near fall early on with a devastating power bomb. After nearly being counted out, Snow returned to the ring, where he was met with another power bomb and Morris got the victory. (Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.) Epstein: Hugh Morris continues to make his way up the ranks and before too long I’m sure he’ll be challenging for a title. DM: I won’t disagree, and now with Father James Mitchell offering him guidance, the sky’s the limit. Epstein: Lola Patterson is standing by in the locker room with 2 Cold Scorpio, whose match with RMPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge at Summer Bash wasn’t without some controversy. Take a look at this video before we go to Lola. (Video footage is shown of the end of the RMPW Jr. Heavyweight Title Match at Summer Bash.) The match was approaching its time limit when the action spilled out of the ring and both men brawled uncontrollably. Scorpio was the first to grab a chair and smash Hodge. Hodge retaliated and both men were disqualified.(Lola Patterson is in the locker room with 2 Cold Scorpio.) Patterson: 2 Cold Scorpio, we just saw footage from your match with Danny Hodge at Summer Bash. It definitely didn’t go the way you had hoped.
Scorpio: I’ll admit, I went a little over the top at the end, but Hodge was cheatin’. He was grabbin’ my tights.
Patterson: We didn’t see any of that, but I’m not saying it’s not possible.
Scorpio: You better believe it’s possible. I want another shot at the RMPW Jr. Heavyweight Title … no I deserve another shot at the title, and when I get it … Danny Hodge will be left with a lot less gold in his luggage, if you know what I mean. And that’s a fact jack.(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.) Epstein: Welcome back to 1 Wrestling Nation. Dark Menace, the RMPW Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase & Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams were once again successful in defending their title last weekend at Summer Bash. DM: Of course they were. Epstein: How is your search going to find a team to beat them? DM: There are some prospects, but I will definitely be keeping that all close to the vest. Epstein: Definitely a brilliant strategic maneuver on your part. Long Riders (‘Wild’ Bill & Scott ‘Hog’ Irwin) vs. World Class Workers (Scott Casey & Sam Houston)After several minutes of back and forth brawling and multiple tags. Bill pinned Casey after a FLOAT KICK. (Pre-recorded comments from Beverly Shade, picture in picture, as video footage is shown of the end of the RMPW Women’s Title match from Summer Bash.) Martinez seemed overwhelmed when the action once again spilled out of the ring and slammed Shade through a ringside table. The ref disqualified Martinez.
Shade: Mercedes Martinez, The Hammer proved to be too much for you and you couldn’t accept the fact that I was going to take that title from you. Next time, and yes there will be a next time, I won’t wait so long to put you away and give you a chance the keep that title. From now on you can just refer to me as the uncrowned RMPW Women’s Champion.(Lola Patterson is in the locker room with RMPW Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase & Steve 'Dr. Death' Williams) Patterson: Welcome back to 1 Wrestling Nation. I’m here with the RMPW Tag Team Champions, Ted DiBiase & Steve 'Dr. Death' Williams and it was business as usual at Summer Bash.
DiBiase: Young lady, did expect anything less? There is no team in this great business of ours that can hold a candle to us.
Williams: Keep lining them up and we’ll keep knockin’ them down.
Patterson: My understanding is you guys have now signed an open contract and will defend your belts against any team that puts their name on the dotted line, whether they compete in RMPW or not.
DiBiase: The thought is maybe we can get some competition this way, but we sincerely doubt it.
Williams: Having an open contract definitely will make things a little more interesting around here, but we still expect the same result and that’s us continuing to have these belts around our waist.
Patterson: There you have it. Now anyone is welcome to challenge for the RMPW Tag Team Titles. Back to you guys at ringside.(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.) Epstein: Thanks Lola. Wow, this is definitely some big news. It makes it that much easier for whatever team you find to challenge for the title. DM: Trust me, I’m not upset by this unexpected turn of events. Epstein: From that big news to the big news about our next live super event. It’s an event so large, it will be three days long. RMPW will be joining wrestling organizations from the Southwest, Pacific Northwest, California and Hawaii in putting on a huge event in Las Vegas over the Labor Day holiday. We invite everyone to make your plans to join us for the Wrestle Festival, September 2nd – September 4th at Sam Boyd Stadium in Vegas. DM: This will be a huge event and I’ll give the board of directors credit where credit is due. They continue to expand our horizons and bring our fans a better and better product. Epstein: Indeed they do. I am also excited to announce that one of the matches that will be taking place over those three days is a return match for the RMPW Heavyweight Title as Big Van Vader will be getting his rematch very quickly against Stan Hansen. DM: With the way the match went at Summer Bash and the heat of the desert, these guys will either tear the ring apart or die trying. RMPW Women's Champion Mercedes Martinez vs. Michelle JacksonMartinez dominated and made Jackson submit to a Dragon Sleeper. Post match: Slaughter recovered and joined Iron Sheik in beating down Backlund before Baron Von Raschke hit the ring with a chair, clearing it of the attackers.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: Sgt. Slaughter had a huge surprise for Bob Backlund at Summer Bash.
DM: Former enemies are now allies as Sgt. Slaughter has brought Sheiky-baby to the Rocky Mountains. Sheik took a world title from Backlund years ago and now Slaughter has brought him into this war he’s having with Backlund and Baron Von Raschke. This grudge has definitely gotten serious.
Epstein: As a matter of fact, Slaughter, Iron Sheik and Dick Hutton will be asked to end their grudge at Wrestle Festival as those three will face Backlund, Von Raschke and The Crusher. Let’s send it to the locker room, where Lola Patterson is standing by with one of those teams.
(Lola Patterson is in the locker room with Sgt. Slaughter, Iron Sheik and Dick Hutton)
Patterson: Thanks Marco. Sgt. Slaughter, you had a big surprise for … well all of us at Summer Bash.
Slaughter: Bob Backlund, you maggot. Did you forget all’s far in love and war, and Backlund, you scum, we are definitely at war. I have brought the heavy artillery to RMPW in the Iron Sheik. I know all too well what this man brings to a war after having faced him in many myself. Backlund is aware as well. Backlund, Sheik once took your title, now he’s going to take all that’s left.
Patterson: Bob Backlund isn’t the only one you’ve had to worry about in this war, as you call it. Baron Von Rachske and The Crusher have been front and center also.
Sheik: I come to the Rocky Mountains for war. Sgt. Slaughter bring me to Rocky Mountains for war. I am here for war. Bob Backlund, I humble you. Baron Von Raschke, I humble you. Crusher, I humble you. This is war and Iron Sheik is ready to fight.
Patterson: Dick Hutton, do you have anything to add?
Hutton: No, young lady, I think both of these gentlemen just about covered it.
Patterson: In that case … Marco … Dark Menace … back to you at ringside.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: The summer is getting hotter any which way you look at it.
DM: Man I love the Iron Sheik. The man definitely does not mince words.
Epstein: I’m pretty sure our censors had their finger firmly planted on the drop button the entire time that interview was going on. Anyway, it’s time for our feature contest and this is going to be a good one. We go from Slaughter, Sheik and Hutton to one of the men they will be facing at Wrestle Festival and that’s none other than RMPW TV Champion Baron Von Raschke as he gets a tough test here today, defending his title against Bad New Allen.
DM: Bad News Allen came here to dominate in the ring and win titles. Today he gets a chance to do both. I hope the Baron is ready.
RMPW TV TITLE MATCH Bad News Allen vs. RMPW TV Champion Baron Von Raschke This was a brief, but wild brawl as both men tore into each other. Von Raschke had an early advantage, but Allen recovered and stunned Von Raschke with back to back clotheslines before Sgt. Slaughter, Iron Sheik and Dick Hutton made their way to the ring and caused a distraction. It was just enough to allow Allen to hit the GHETTO BLASTER for the win.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: That distraction is all Bad News needed to secure himself the victory and the title.
DM: I’m sure that just added fuel to the fire of the grudge match coming up at Wrestle Festival.
Epstein: I will whole heartedly agree with that. We’re out of time folks. Thanks for joining us … for Dark Menace, I’m Marco Epstein and we’ll talk to you next time.
