The interviewer explains Melina made her CPW debut as a lumberjill in the women’s title match at New Year’s Clash. Melina acknowledged all her adoring fans before congratulating Iveliese on a job well done. From there Melina’s tone changed just a bit as she told Iveliese that she was a bad bitch before being a bad bitch was cool. Iveliese responded by saying she bets Melina now wants a shot at her newly won title. Melina replied by saying in due time, but right now she has found the perfect woman to take that belt from Iveliese and she is working on convincing the Board of Directors to sign that title match.
(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and comments on how So Cal Val has attempted to implement Strategy-X to mixed results.)
Baron Von Raschke & 'Sodbuster' Kenny Jay vs. Val Venis & Mr. Hughes w/ So Cal Val & Strategy X This turned out to be a very competitive contest with both teams executing multiple tags and gaining a few near falls. Val had Strategy-X working overtime as she was constantly consulting the AI device then shouting instructions to her team. In the end, neither team secured the victory because when the action spilled outside the ring, an uncontrollable brawl erupted and both teams were disqualified.

Navajo said it really resonated with him and when he saw the cowardly act by Val Venis and Mr. Hughes, he couldn’t stand by and let it happen. The interview is interrupted by So Cal Val, who of course is toting Strategy-X. Val commented on how Navajo is a big, strong, strapping individual, but doesn’t stand a chance against her men because of Strategy-X. Navajo replied by saying he’d love the opportunity to prove Strategy-X wrong. Val responded with careful what you wish for.

The interviewer announced that Von Raschke is receiving his return match on next week’s program and asked Severn if he will change his strategy at all. Menace commented that Zbyszko is definitely a thinking man’s wrestler and Menace is a thinking man’s manager. Menace predicted it’s only a matter of time before Zbyszko has gold around his waist.
(Lesevern welcomed the fans back to the program and announced Dark Menace introduced his new team and what a team it is.)
Original Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose) w/ Dark Menace vs. Blackjack Mulligan & Scott Casey Before the match, Menace used quite a bit of pomp and circumstance when introducing his new tandem. Mulligan and Casey were unimpressed. Mulligan and Casey were all over OME, not giving either man room to breathe. Things looked bad until Menace distracted the ref and Condrey laid Casey out with Menace’s cane. Rose made the cover when the ref turned back around and OME stole a victory.
(Leseveren commented on how Dark Menace may be managing new men, but his tactics are still the same. He thanked the fans for watching and invited them to tune in next time.)

(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and talks about how there is still no word on who CPW Women’s Champion Iveliesse’s challenger is for Mile High Massacre, but Melina continues to talk her up as worthy.)
NON-TITLE MATCH CPW Women’s Champion Iveliesse w / Mercedes Martinez vs. Susan Green Melina was also at ringside for this match as an interested observer. Iveliesse did seem a little distracted by Melina’s presence, which allowed Green to gain a quick advantage, but Green followed up by missing a turnbuckle charge and that’s all she wrote. Iveliesse took control and beat Green with the DESERT EAGLE.
INTERVIEW: CPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Joe Blanchard The interviewer announces that Henry Irslinger will challenge Joe Blanchard for the CPW Jr. Heavyweight Title on next week’s program. Blanchard responds by explaining how Irslinger is a great competitor and more than a worthy challenger. Blanchard closes by saying he welcomes the challenge and the chance to test his mettle against such an accomplished mat technician.
(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and announces it’s time for our feature match.)

(Leseveren comments on how the match once again ended in a draw and says something must be done to allow the match to come to a decisive end. Leseveren thanks the fans for watching and invites them to tune in next time.)

Menace comments on how the tag team division is weak and his pair should have no problem shooting to the top. Condrey adds that if their debut match is any indication of the talent in the division, the Board of Directors may as well just strip the current champions of the belts and hand them over. Rose closes by saying he and Condrey have their eyes on the prize and the champs, and Williams and DiBiase best be looking over their shoulders because OME are ready to be champs.
(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and comments on how much So Cal Val and her team relies on Strategy-X, and whether that is such a good thing or not.)
Yukon Eric vs. Mr. Hughes w/ So Cal Val & Strategy-X These two powerhouses went blow for blow as Val shouted instructions to Hughes throughout the match after consulting Strategy-X. Eric connected with a Woodsman’s Chop, taking down Hughes, then made a quick pin.
Post match: Val Venis storms the ring and attacks Eric from behind. Hughes recovers and joins the assault, but Manny Fernandez and Navajo Warrior rush from the back and send Venis, Hughes and Val scurrying to the back.
INTERVIEW: Lola Patterson interviews CPW Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader Patterson comments on how Vader is yet to face a man that matches the champ in size, strength and agility. An uncharacteristically calm Vader responds by recognizing how much of a threat Don Leo Jonathan is to his title. Bruiser Brody vs. Al Snow Brody had a slow start to this match as Snow looked prime for an upset. Brody battled back and brutalized Snow, but Snow hung in. The action spilled out of the ring and both men brawled uncontrollably as the ref tried to regain order. After several failed attempts to get the action back in the ring, the ref disqualified both men.
Original Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose) w/ Dark Menace vs. Baron Von Raschke & ‘Sodbuster’ Kenny Jay This match was fairly even throughout with both teams executing multiple tags. The action continued back and forth for several minutes until Von Raschke trapped Rose in the IRON CLAW. Rose began to fade and the hold was broken by Condrey, who clobbered Von Rachske with Menace’s cane. The ref disqualified OME.
‘Wild’ Red Berry vs. Colt Cabana Berry had the early advantage, but Cabana recovered. From there Cabana made quick work of Berry, putting him away with back-to-back COLT .45s.
Manny Fernandez & Navajo Warrior vs. Val Venis & Mr. Hughes w/ So Cal Val & Strategy-X Strategy-X was working overtime in this one and it paid off. Venis and Hughes controlled most of the match with Fernandez and Navajo constantly being on the defensive. Fernandez did gain a near fall after a FLYING BURRITO on Hughes, but Hughes kicked out and the action continued back and forth until Venis delivered a spinning power bomb on Navajo and got the pin.
Beverly Shade vs. Penny Banner Quite the rivalry has developed between these two ladies and they looked to settle things once and for all. The action was furious as both ladies battled back and forth, inside and outside the ring. Banner gained a couple of near falls before finally putting Shade away with a well-timed SUNSET FLIP.
Larry Zbyszko w/ Dark Menace vs. Yukon Eric Zbyszko came out fast and gained an early advantage, but Eric used his decided strength advantage to counter and get things moving in his direction. Zbyszko battled back and both men battled back and forth. With help from Menace, Zbyszko gained the advantage one final time and pinned Eric with a flying body press.
CPW WOMEN’S TITLE MATCH ?? w/ Melina vs. CPW Women’s Champion Iveliese w/ Mercedes Martinez Iveliese and Martinez were waiting in the ring as Melina made her way out. Melina told Iveliese that she has always felt that she needed to keep her friends close and enemies closer, and that Iveliese should really heed that advice. Suddenly Martinez attacked Iveliese and the match began. Martinez gained an early near fall, but Iveliese finally gained her bearings and battled back. The action continued back and forth until Melina distracted Iveliese, enabling Martinez to deliver a FISHERMAN BUSTER and make the pin.
Post match: Melina taunts Iveliese as she tries to knock the cobwebs loose and Martinez left the ring with the belt, showing it off to the fans as she returned to the back.
CPW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH Long Riders (‘Wild’ Bill & Scott ‘Hog’ Irwin) vs. CPW Tag Team Champions Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams & Ted DiBiase The Long Riders isolated DiBiase in their corner early, but DiBiase absorbed the punishment and battled to his corner to make the tag. Williams took over, but the Long Riders managed to hang in. Both teams battled back and forth until Williams surprised Bill with a lariat and made the quick pin.
CPW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH Don Leo Jonathan vs. CPW Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader This was one of the hardest hitting matches in CPW history. Vader dished out the punishment, but Jonathan absorbed everything Vader dished out. Vader grew increasingly frustrated that he couldn’t put Jonathan away, but it only led to Vader picking up the ferocity. Jonathan continued to play the pain game masterfully, but eventually it caught up with him and Jonathan began to fatigue from the punishment. Vader smelled the blood in the water and finally put Jonathan away with a RELEASED POWERBOMB.
Post match: As Vader left the ring, Larry Zbyszko attacked a prone Jonathan. Dark Menace gave the orders and Zbyszko put the boots to Jonathan before attempting a PILEDRIVER. Suddenly Vader slid back into the ring, which sent Zbyszko and Menace scattering. Vader checked on Jonathan as referees escorted Zbyszko and Menace from the ring.

CENTENNIAL PRO WRESTLING PRO WRESTLING WEEKEND EPISODE 32 ORIENTAL THEATER DENVER, CO 02-11-23 – 02-12-23
(Play-by-play announcer Mars Leseveren welcomes the fans to Pro Wrestling Weekend and talks about what a great event Mile High Massacre was. He mentions the successful title defenses by CPW Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader and CPW Tag Team Champions Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams & Ted DiBiase, as well as Mercedes Martinez’s betrayal of Iveliese en route to winning the CPW Women’s Title. He says we’ll hear from the new women’s champion later in the program.)
Billy Wicks vs. Aaron Phillips Wicks made quick work of Phillips, making him submit to a DOUBLE WRISTLOCK.
INTERVIEW: CPW Women’s Champion Mercedes Martinez w/ Melina The interviewer starts out by claiming Melina and Martinez definitely got one over on Iveliese. Melina says that their plan worked to perfection and now that Martinez is champion they will own the women’s division. Martinez puts her hand up and cuts Melina’s gloating off. Martinez says she came to CPW to win the gold and be the most dominant champion this area has ever seen. Martinez says that Melina’s plan worked out, but their alliance was a means to an end and now that she has the title, she and Melina can go their separate ways. Melina has a look of disbelief and disgust on her face as Martinez shoos her away. The interviewer then announces that the next non-televised super event will be Mile High Madness on Saturday, March 4th, once again at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield. The interviewer goes on to say that one of the features of that card will be a 4 woman mini-tournament with the winner earning a title shot on that same card. Martinez responds by saying that you heard what she said earlier. She’s going to be the most dominant women’s champion this area has ever seen so whoever wins the tournament will get an ass whoopin’ then get sent to the back of the line.
(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and talks about the CPW Tag Team Champions’ hard-fought victory at Mile High Massacre.)
CPW Tag Team Champions Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams & Ted DiBiase vs. Tyler & Moe Redd The champs toyed with the Redds early but eventually got down to business. It didn’t take long and Williams pinned Moe after the BACKDROP DRIVER.
INTERVIEW: Original Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose) w/ Dark Menace Menace begins the interview by saying his team should be the number one contenders for the CPW Tag Team Titles. The interviewer brings up their disqualification loss at Mile High Massacre and Condrey counters with how they have been matched up against inferior talent since they’ve gotten here and if the match makers would put them up against more talented wrestlers, accidents like what happened as Massacre wouldn’t happen. Suddenly, Bruiser Brody and the returning Stan Hansen come into view and Hansen comments that OME is an accident waiting to happen. Menace begins to position himself behind his team then tells Brody and Hansen they have no business being out here and that Hansen is so crazy that he doesn’t know if he’s coming or going. Hansen responds by saying what he does with his career is none of Menace’s business, but what is his business is his team having to go through him and Brody to get that title shot they feel they so greatly deserve. Rose comments that if OME beats Brody and Hansen, they would get a tag team title shot? Brody says they cleared it with the board of directors 15 minutes ago. Brody also adds that the reason it was cleared is because Brody and Hansen want that shot and the board told them they would need to compete against the top ranked team next week and whoever the winner is, they get the title shot at Mile High Madness. Hansen tells Menace that they’ve seen what he does with that cane of his, so he should get it shined up real nice so it goes in a little easier when he and Brody shove it up his a**.
(Leseveren welcomes the fans back from the break and comments on the strong words by Brody and Hansen before the break. He also comments on the announcement about the women’s mini-tournament at Mile High Madness.)
Beverly Shade vs. Malia Hosaka Both ladies battled back and forth initially, but Shade gained the advantage and put Hosaka away with THE HAMMER.
INTERVIEW: Penny Banner The interviewer introduces Banner as one of the competitors in the number one contender mini-tournament. Banner says she feels the spot is deserved, but she knows she will be one of four that deserve a spot, so she won’t take it lightly. She obviously has no idea who her opponent will be, but is looking forward to the challenge and may the best woman win.
(Leseveren announces it’s time for our feature match and it’s between two men who have almost exclusively been competing tag team action as of late.)
Scott Casey vs. Val Venis w/So Cal Val, Mr. Hughes & Strategy-X Venis had an early advantage, even gaining a near fall. Casey battled back and looked to get the victory after a BULLDOG, but Val jumped up on the apron. Casey met her and argued briefly before Venis recovered and hooked Casey’s arms from behind. Val attempted to smash Casey with Strategy-X as Hughes distracted the ref, but Casey ducked and Val smashed Venis. Casey quickly rolled Venis up and the ref turned to make the three-count.
(Leseveren comments on how it looks like Strategy-X’s advice failed once again, or maybe it was just in the execution. At any rate, Leseveren thanks the fans for watching and invites the to tune in next time.)

(Play-by-play announcer Mars Leseveren welcomes the fans to the program and talks about what an exciting program it’s going to be. He announces the feature contest being the number one contender’s match for the CPW Tag Team Title between the Original Midnight Express and the team of Bruiser Brody & Stan Hansen that was signed before last week’s program. Leseveren follows that up by announcing the opening contest on the program is the rubber match between Baron Von Raschke and Dan Severn for Severn’s CPW TV Title, no time limit, there must be a winner.)
CPW TV TITLE MATCH Baron Von Raschke vs. CPW TV Champion Dan Severn Von Raschke started out strong, but Severn absorbed the punishment and battled back. Severn looked to wear Von Raschke down, but Von Raschke escaped to ringside. Severn followed, but that proved to be a mistake as Von Raschke regained the advantage. The action returned to the ring and Severn fought hard, but it just seemed like it was Von Rachske’s match to win, which he did with backbreaker drop on a knee.
INTERVIEW: Melina The interviewer starts out by asking Melina her feelings on CPW Women’s Champion Mercedes Martinez kicking her to the curb. Melina calls Martinez an ungrateful b*tch and says karma will get her as it’s only a matter of time before she gets her in the ring and takes the title from her, a title she wouldn’t even have if it weren’t for Melina. The interviewer informs Melina that she could get her chance at Mile High Madness as Melina is one of the participants in the contenders’ tournament. This seems to acquiesce Melina as a huge grin crosses her face and she nods her head in comprehension before walking off.
(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and comments on how the contenders’ tournament at Mile High Madness is starting to take shape and he likes where it is headed.)
Mike DiBiase vs. Bryan White DiBiase was all over White and put him away with a TOP ROPE KNEE TO THE BACK.
INTERVIEW: Don Leo Jonathan Before the interview, footage is shown of Larry Zbyszko attacking Jonathan after Jonathan’s loss to Big Van Vader at Mile High Masssacre. The interviewer first asks Jonathan to talk about the match then the attack by Zbyszko. Jonathan comments on Vader’s strength and toughness, and how he is truly a worthy champion. Jonathan says he trained hard for the match and felt he had better cardio than the champ, which almost proved to be the case, but somehow Vader found one more gear and that was the difference. Jonathan continues and says as far as Zbyszko is concerned, if Zbyszko is looking to make a name for himself, he should’ve thought twice before trying to do it at Jonathan’s expense. Zbsyzko now has one ticked off Mormon Giant on his hands and he wants a match at Mile High Madness.
(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program then sends it to an interview with yet another participant in the CPW Women’s Title contenders’ tournament at Mile High Madness.)
INTERVIEW: Iveliese The interviewer asks Iveliese about losing the title to Mercedes Martinez at Mile High Massacre and Iveliese admits she let her guard down. She knows she can’t trust anyone, but thought Martinez was her hermana, her sister. She realizes her mistake and she won’t make it again. Iveliese says it doesn’t matter who she has to go through, she’s taking the belt back at Mile High Madness.
(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and announces it’s time of the feature match. He comments on it being one of the biggest matches ever on Pro Wrestling Weekend.)
Original Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose) w/ Dark Menace vs. Stan Hansen & Bruiser Brody This was an all-out brawl from the opening bell. Hansen and Brody tried to rough up their opponents, but OME actually held their own. OME isolated Brody in their corner and worked him over, gaining several near falls, but Brody battled back and made the hot tag. Hansen came in and cleaned house, but a distraction by Menace allowed Rose to regain the advantage. The action continued back and forth until the match broke down and all four men brawled. Menace again got involved and attempted to strike Hansen with his cane. Hansen caught the cane and ripped it from Menace’s hand, but before he could do anything with it, Condrey blasted him from behind with a chair and the ref called for the disqualification. Security stormed the ring and made sure nothing else transpired.
(Leseveren comments that OME and Menace’s underhanded tactics finally caught up with them and it cost OME their shot at the CPW Tag Team Titles. Nonetheless, Leseveren thanks the fans for watching and invites them to tune in next time.)
