Cman, know the feeling about being shy. The more you go the more comfortable I think you'll feel.
Hoping for Waterloo as well.

The best part about Drew's reign as Champ, might have been his comments after he got bounced from The Canada Cup, and realized he would not be able to defend his title. Just hilarious!
That might’ve been the start of a heel turn. Don’t be surprised if I show up next year with loaded dice.
No need for drunk dice. It sounds like the promoters were drunk enough on their own. Besides, drunk dice is not cool. That is why there is ADA (Alcoholic Dice Anonymous). If your dice have a drinking problem, get them in ADA.

And a good time was had by all! Walking into the hotel around 4:00 on Friday afternoon and seeing the lobby full of promoters was one of the great moments of the summer! Vegas and I were the only ones who made the trek to the wrestling show on Friday night, but it was fun to see a bunch of new talent that I have never watched in person. I got to witness my first-ever game signing (but I am sworn to secrecy on the name, of course)! Also had fun meeting Lady Frost, Vert Vixen, and Hammerstone during intermission and it was just a cool night all around. Made it back to the hotel and met up with a bunch of promoters at varying levels of insobriety and got to talk wrestling deep into the night. Also had fun chatting up some dudes who have seen my YouTube broadcasts and passing out copies of my new "Out Of The Ring Again" chart. The tournaments were fun and I finished around .500 for the weekend with Sgt. Slaughter, Warden, and Sir Ender. Father James Mitchell was a terrific interview and a great way to cap off another memorable weekend. I still have plenty of copies of the Out Of The Ring Again chart, free of charge for anybody who sends me a mailing address via IM.

I wish u all the best Are you sure you want to thank me for the Malort shot? that was a tough shot, I had to drink some beer afterward to wash it out Tournament Master, when you come to Las Vegas in September, I will buy you a shot called a brain hemorrhage- perhaps when we go to the Nerd Bar. I have not had a brain hemorrhage shot in 30 years but it actually looks like a brain in the shot glass and it is tasty as hell. Back when I drank liquor regularly, it was one of my favorite shots.

I realize I never did discuss the actual weekend. Friday, left way too early in the morning and realized I forgot my to ticket but I got it on my phone enough for them to let me on the bus. The ride was something else. First the driver got mad at someone and kicked him off the bus, then shortly after the bus had engine trouble which delayed us over an hour so instead of getting there at 9:30 It was 10:45 when we arrived. Got a Lyft to the hotel and just made it before the gang was ready to leave. From there got some Deep Dish Pizza (not the best pizza I had but definitely the most filling) and then went to Quake Collectibles where I saw some nice stuff but did not get anything. We rode with Sam back to the hotel and it was time to dive into 2138. Read and enjoyed the book though I don't plan on following as closely as I usually do. After that, I went with the majority who decided to skip the show as I had had enough riding in vehicles that day. I managed to stay around till 9:30ish but it had been a long day and little sleep so I missed a lot of the real fun that came later. I don't regret it. Saturday was busy busy as it always is. Despite the best of intentions, we never get all the tournaments in on Saturday and have to finish up on Sunday. Got Apex and won in the first round but a bad roll in the second meant I lost to Fist. Got Piper in Legends but Backlund was too much as I just couldn't stay on offense. I finally turned it around in hardcore with Nick Gage winning over Alex Colon, Rickey Shane Page I believe. Then it was lunch time so Hardcore had to wait. The chicken was nice but I wasn't really fond of the other stuff and the tortillas were too bland for my taste. During panel time, I wandered in and out talking to the other promoters like TK (hope your mom is doing better), KB and others. That was a lot of fun. By the time auction was over (as usual, ended up getting one item) it was past 6 and I think everyone was more interested in food than more playing so Hardcore's last two matches and Indy would have to wait till Sunday. Hung around with EpicDave who as always lived up to his nickname. Had dinner and I was ready for bed after two nights of low sleep. Sunday I was nice and refreshed but nearly ready to throw up with the smell of the food in the room. We got that cleared out and then I bested Sandman in a Falls Count Anywhere Match and then Total Anarchy with long time rival and friend Jim Steel in a Torture Chamber Match. As running tournaments can be exhausting and I had a spot in the cup, I sat out the last two tournaments. IB had been having some medical issues and kept falling asleep. They took a nap upstairs so I could focus on the rest. Galacticup came and yes I did the heel move and picked Cosmic Woman when it was clear she was going to be legal. Got Jim Steel who had Omega and it was a defensive slugfest. Finally, CW hit Vortex to win. Havoc was next and stomped me but I survived long enough to hit the Vortex again. Then I had to face one of my favorite wrestlers in the finals but CW came through one last time. I took my belt and it was Five Time. People insisted on pictures (I hate them for reasons) and then I gave the belt back to TM (My luggage was full and this way I didn't have to figure how to get it through if we're going to Waterloo) but it was fun. Chatted for a while on Sunday as well especially with KB. After things ended, Sam gave us a ride and though the bus was late in arriving it was a smooth trip home but man McDonalds late is a nightmare. Got home, checked in with my friends and crashed. Despite a few hiccups, this was by far my favorite G-Con and IB and I are going to make another trip to Chicago so we can visit the city proper. Hope even more people can attend next year.

TTX, you left out the part where you spent the entire morning on Sunday making arguments that you were running the tournaments and there would be no way that Cosmic Woman would be allowed to compete, laying it out for Sam Fain and I. Then, with the pick just before Sam Fain, you picked her. That was some Hall of Fame level heel ish.

Definitely some rules being put in place for the Cup moving forward.
