LWF Legacy of Gold 1.31 The show opened with the announcement that the next big event will be entitled LWF Legacy of Gold Presents Black Saturday. The Fabulous Ones will defend the LWF World Tag Team titles against the Road Warriors and Kurt Angle will defend the LWF World Heavyweight title against Blackjack Mulligan. Austin Idol vs. Nick Bockwinkel has also been scheduled.
1. American Males vs. Slaughter & Kernodle Bagwell and Slaughter started the match. The American Males wore Slaughter down with double team tactics. Slaughter took the match out to the floor and mauled Riggs on the outside. Slaughter tagged in Kernodle and Kernodle hit the Atomic Bomb for the win.

2. Tony Anthony vs. Mike Jackson Anthony bulldozed Jackson at the opening bell and flattened him with a side backbreaker. Anthony hit a swinging neckbreaker for the win.

3. Don Curtis vs. 2 Cold Scorpio Curtis took the fight to the debuting Scorpio and went to work. Curtis hit a flying mare for a two count. Curtis locked on the sleeper for the win.

4. Strangler Lewis vs. Tracy Smothers - LWF Continental title match Lewis controlled the early minutes of the match but Smothers took control and hit the Jawkjacker for a two count. Smothers went to the top rope but Lewis threw him to the mat. Lewis hit the Strangler’s Headlock for the win.
Winner - Strangler Lewis by pinfall, his fourth successful defense of the LWF Continental Heavyweight title

LWF Legacy of Gold 1.32 The show opened with a recap of last week’s show. It was announced Vader has left the territory after a contract dispute. The LWF has left the door open for his return if the two parties can come to terms. It was also announced that at Black Saturday, Strangler Lewis will put the LWF Continental Heavyweight title on the line against Bill Dundee.
1. Dutch Mantell vs. Kenny Jay Dutch bulldozed Kenny Jay and quickly hit the double dutch clutch for the win.
Winner - Dutch Mantell by pinfall
Dutch was celebrating after the match when Tommy Rich came out of the crowd and attacked him from behind! Rich pummeled Dutch until security arrived.
2. The Briscos vs. The Bolsheviks Jack and Nikolai started the match. Jack nailed Nikolai with a dropkick for a two count. Jack got another near fall with a rolling reverse cradle and tagged in Jerry. Jerry rolled NIkolai up with an Oklahoma Sideroll for the win.
Winners - The Briscos by pinfall
After the match, Jack got on the mic and said The Briscos would fight any team at LWF Legacy of Gold Presents Black Saturday.
3. Stan Hansen vs Konnan Hansen ran over Konnan at the opening bell and knocked him senseless. Hansen hit the slingshot elbow drop for a two count. Hansen wound up and clobbered Konnan with The Lariat for the win.

4. Johnny Valentine vs. Mark Henry Valentine and Henry battled back and forth. Henry got the advantage and hit a backbreaker for a two count. Henry whipped Valentine into the buckles and ate a boot. Valentine covered him for a two count. Valentine drilled Henry with the Atomic Skullcrusher for a two count. Valentine hit a second atomic skullcrusher for the win.

After the match, Valentine got on the mic and said he’d be watching the main event of LWF Legacy of Gold Presents Black Saturday closely because that big gold belt would look really good around his waist. The show went off the air with Valentine walking to the back.

LWF Legacy of Gold 1.33 The show opened with a recap of last week’s show. It was announced that The Briscos will take on the Varsity Club at LWF Legacy of Gold Presents Black Saturday. Dutch Mantell vs. Tommy Rich has also been added to the card. It was also announced that tonight’s main event will feature Austin Idol teaming up with Dutch Mantell to take on Tommy Rich and Nick Bockwinkel.
1. Barry Windham vs. Keith Steinborn Windham bulldozed Steinborn and hit the Sweetwater Superplex for the quick win.
Winner - Barry Windham by pinfall
After the match, Windham got on the mic and said he’d have Blackjack Mulligan’s back at Black Saturday to make sure Mark Henry doesn’t interfere in Blackjack’s LWF World Heavyweight title match with Kurt Angle.
2. Dutch Savage & The Spoiler vs. Meanie & Nova The Spoiler and the Blue Meanie started the match. Spoiler put up with Meanie’s antics for a few minutes and plowed him to the mat. Spoiler hit the leaping neck snap and Dutch held off Nova while the referee made the three count.

3. Billy Wicks vs. Hugh Morris Wicks and Morris battled back and forth. The match spilled out of the ring. Wicks got the upper hand and wore Morris down with the abdominal stretch but he was able to escape the hold. Wicks hit a waistlock suplex for a two count. Wicks locked on the abdominal stretch but Morris was able to get to the ropes. Wicks locked on the double wristlock but Morris fought his way to the ropes. Wicks clamped on the abdominal stretch but Morris was able to reach the ropes. Wicks locked on the double wristlock and Morris tapped out.

4. Austin Idol & Dutch Mantell vs. Nick Bockwinkel & Tommy Rich Idol and Bockwinkel started the match. The match quickly spilled out of the ring. Idol slammed Bockwinkel into the apron and rolled him back into the ring. Idol and Bockwinkel battled back and forth. Bockwinkel rolled up Idol with a small package for a two count. Bockwinkel locked on the figure four and tagged in Tommy Rich. Rich peppered Idol with upper cuts and hit the Thesz Press but Mantell made the save. Rich hit a second Thesz Press but Idol kicked out. Rich locked on the Wildfire Sleeper, wearing Idol down. Rich tagged Bockwinkel in. Bockwinkel locked on the Bockwinkel Sleeper and Rich held off Mantell while Idol tapped out.
Winners - Bockwinkel & Rich by submission
The four men continued brawling as the show went off the air.

LWF Legacy of Gold Presents Black Saturday 1. The Briscos vs. The Varsity Club Jack Brisco and Doctor Death started the match. Jack went for Doc’s knee like a shark and locked on the figure four. Jerry held off Rotunda and Williams was forced to tap out.
Winners - The Briscos by submission
2. Strangler Lewis Vs. Bill Dundee - LWF Continental title match Lewis worked over Dundee at the opening bell and locked on a double wristlock but Dundee escaped the hold. Lewis hit the Strangler’s Headlock for a two count. Lewis hit the Strangler’s Headlock a second time for a two count. Lewis nailed Dundee with a bear hug power bomb for a two count. Lewis hit the Strangler’s Headlock two more times for the win.
Winner - Strangler Lewis by pinfall, his fifth defense of the LWF Continental Heavyweight title
3. Austin Idol vs. Nick Bockwinkel Bockwinkel and Idol battled back and forth. Bockwinkel hit a back suplex for a two count. Bockwinkel locked on the Bockwinkel Sleeper for the win.

4. Dutch Mantell vs. Tommy Rich Rich and Mantell quickly wound up on the floor. Rich bashed Mantell with a chair and rolled him back into the ring. Rich nailed Dutch with a big right uppercut and covered him for a two count. Rich hit the Thesz Press but Dutch kicked out. Rich hit a second Thesz Press but Dutch got his shoulder up. Rich hit a piledriver but Mantell got his foot on the ropes. Rich locked on the Wildfire Sleeper and Mantell tapped out.
Winner - Tommy Rich by submission
Austin Idol attacked Rich from behind and locked on the Las Vegas Leglock. Bill Dundee came from the locker room with a chair and chased off the heels.
5. The Fabulous Ones vs. The Road Warriors - LWF World Heavyweight title match Keirn and Animal started the match. The Fabs hit Animal with the double ham string stretch but Animal was unfazed and went on the attack. Animal and Lane battled on the outside. The Fabs hit the double DDT on the concrete and Animal barely made it back into the ring before the twenty count. Lane hit the Savate Kick for a two count and tagged in Keirn. Animal made a comeback and tagged in Hawk. The Fabs regained control and nailed Hawk with the Fabulous Forearm for a two count. Lane nailed Hawk with a flurry of karate kicks for a two count. The Fabs hit the Double DDT but Hawk kicked out at 1. Keirn and Hawk battled on the outside. Keirn nailed Hawk with a chair and rolled him back into the ring. Hawk made the hot tag to Animal and Animal hit the power slam on Keirn for a two count. The Road Warriors hit the Doomsday Device and Animal held off Lane while the referee made the three count.
Winners - The Road Warriors by pinfall! The Road Warriors are the new LWF World Tag Team champions!
6. Kurt Angle with Mark Henry vs. Blackjack Mulligan with Barry Windham - LWF World Heavyweight title Angle and Mulligan tore into one another at the opening bell and fought all over the ring area. The referee herded the two men back into the ring and Angle hit a power bomb for a two count. Angle dumped Mulligan on his head with a German suplex and hit the Olympic Slam for a two count. Angle locked on the Ankle Lock but Mulligan was able to reach the ropes. Angle and Mulligan battled on the floor and Mulligan came out on top. Mulligan locked on the Blackjack Claw but Angle escaped the hold. Mulligan hit a knee to the gut and covered Angle for a two count.
Mark Henry paced back and forth at ringside while Windham cheered on Mulligan. Mulligan locked on the Blackjack Claw and Mark Henry entered the ring! Windham also entered the ring and locked Henry in the Blackjack Claw! The referee ordered Mark Henry and Barry Windham to the back! Angle made a comeback and hit a German Suplex for a two count. Mulligan got some momentum going but Angle shut him down with another German Suplex. Angle hit a power bomb for the win.
Winner - Kurt Angle by pinfall, his second successful defense of the LWF World Heavyweight title

Well Fabs reign was short but sweet. Lewis continues to be tough. I was hoping for a dirty finish on that Fabs/Road Warriors match. I'll have to rehab the Fabs, I think.

LWF Legacy of Gold 1.34 The show opened with a recap of LWF Legacy of Gold Presents Black Saturday. It was announced that the next big LWF Event will be LWF Legacy of Gold Presents Memphis Heat. The LWF World Tag Team champions The Road Warriors will defend the gold against The Brisco Brothers. Dutch Mantell & Austin Idol vs. Tommy Rich & Bill Dundee has also been signed. Tonight’s main event will feature Nick Bockwinkel taking on Barry Windham with the winner receiving a shot at the LWF World Heavyweight title at Memphis Heat.
1. Dutch Savage & Spoiler vs. Too Cool Spoiler and Taylor started the match. Spoiler overpowered Taylor and hit the rope walk and smash. Spoiler tagged in Dutch. Dutch hit the thumb to the throat and nearly got the three count. Dutch hit the running piledriver but Christopher hit the leg drop from the top, breaking the pin. Taylor tagged in Christoper. Christopher hit a DDT on the concrete and Dutch was nearly counted out. Christopher hit the hip hop drop for the win.
WInners - Too Cool by pinfall
2. Stan Hansen vs. Tracy Smothers Smothers went on the attack at the opening bell but Hansen took control and squashed him with a big elbow drop for a two count. Hansen plowed Smothers with the lariat for the three count.

After the match, Hansen got on the mic and said he’d fight anybody that showed up at LWF Legacy of Gold Presents Memphis Heat.
3. 2 Cold Scorpio vs. Les Thatcher Scorpio and Thatcher grappled back and forth. Scorpio got the upper hand and hit the Diss That Don’t Miss for the win.

4. Barry Windham vs. Nick Bockwinkel Bockwinkel had the early advantage but Windham quickly overpowered him. Bockwinkel made a comeback and focused his attack on Windham’s recently injured leg. Windham hit a small package out of nowhere for a two count. Bockwinkel regained control and locked on the Bockwinkel Sleeper for the win.
Winner - Nick Bockwinkel by submission. Nick Bockwinkel will face Kurt Angle for the LWF World Heavyweight title at Memphis Heat!

Windham has struggled for me recently. Bock is going to be one of my Angle challengers so looking forward to seeing how he does here.
