Wow! I totally didn't see Dynamite's sneak attack on Valentine coming. Good thing Davey's not around.
Dynamite vs. Valentine will be a definite contrast in styles. Can't wait to see how this plays out!

LWF Legacy of Gold 1.45 The show opened with a recap of LWF Legacy of Gold Presents Stranglehold. The following matches were announced for the next big event, LWF Legacy of Gold Presents Pure Dynamite: The finals of the Gagne Cup The Road Warriors vs. Don Leo Jonathan & Dutch Savage for the LWF World Tag Team titles Johnny Valentine vs. The Dynamite Kid for the LWF World Heavyweight title Sputnik Monroe has agreed to defend the LWF Continental Heavyweight title but his opponent is TBD.
Before the opening match, the commentators mentioned that Bill Dundee has been having Visa issues and may not be back in the LWF for a few weeks.
1. Tommy Rich vs. Don Curtis Curtis quickly brought down Rich with a flying mare and got a near fall. The match spilled out of the ring and Rich won a brawl on the outside. RIch clamped on the Wildfire Sleeper but Curtis barely managed to escape the hold. Rich nailed Curtis with a fist drop for a two count. Rich hit the Thesz Press for the win.
Winner - Tommy Rich by pinfall
After the match, Dutch Mantell ran down to ringside and brawled with Rich. Just as Rich was getting the upper hand, Abdullah the Butch lumbered down the aisle and joined in the attack. Abdullah attacked Rich with a foreign object and he was wearing the crimson mask by the time security stormed the ring.
2. William Muldoon vs. Tony Anthony Muldoon and Anthony battled back and forth. Anthony rolled up Muldoon with a small package but barely managed a one count from the Solid Man. Muldoon rebounded and hit a body lift and throw for a quick win.

After the match, Dutch Mantell was interviewed from the back of a police car with Abdullah. Mantell said he brought Abdullah all the way from Puerto Rico to put an end to Tommy Rich permanently and Abby would finish the job at LWF Legacy of Gold Presents Pure Dynamite.
3. The Fabulous Ones vs. The Bolsheviks Lane and Zhukov started the match. Zhukov blindsided Lane and had him in trouble. Zhukov hit multiple head butts and covered Lane but Keirn made the save. Lane and Zhukov brawled on the floor and Lane came out on top. Lane nailed Zhukov with a savate kick for a two count. The Fabs hit the Double DDT and Volkoff broke the pin. Zhukov recovered and tossed Keirn outside. The two men brawled and the referee caught Keirn hitting Zhukov with a chair and called for the bell.
Winners - The Bolsheviks by DQ
4. Nick Bockwinkel vs. Ken Shamrock Bockwinkel set the tempo early on and hit Shamrock with a back suplex for a two count. Bockwinkel hit another back suplex on the concrete and Shamrock was nearly counted out. Shamrock made a comeback but couldn’t hold the momentum. Bockwinkel locked on the Bockwinkel sleeper but Shamrock fought his way out of the hold. Bockwinkel locked on his signature hold a second time but Shamrock fought his way to the ropes. Bockwinkel locked on the Bockwinkel Sleeper a third time for the win.
Winner - Nick Bockwinkel by submission
After the match, Bockwinkel got on the mic and said he’d take the long road to the LWF World Heavyweight title and challenged Sputnik Monroe to a match for the LWF Continental Heavyweight title

LWF Legacy of Gold 1.46 The show opened with a recap of last week’s show and announced Sputnik Monroe vs. Nick Bockwinkel for the LWF Continental Heavyweight title and Tommy Rich vs. Abdullah the Butcher have been added to LWF Legacy of Gold Presents Pure Dynamite. The Bolsheviks are set to wrestle but their opponents are TBD.
1. Terry Gordy vs. Mike Jackson Gordy dominated Jackson and kept toying with him. The referee told Gordy to be serious and Jackson made a comeback, hitting the monkey flip to tremendous applause. Gordy crushed Jackson with a lariat and hit the power bomb for the win.

2. The Briscos vs. Too Cool Jack Brisco and Brian Christopher started the match. Jack whipped Christopher to the ropes and Christopher hit a sunset flip for a close two count. Christopher tagged in Taylor and Jack soon made a comeback. Jack spun Taylor with the airplane spin and covered him but Christopher made the save. Jack tagged in Jerry. Jerry rolled Taylor up with the Oklahoma sideroll for a two count. Taylor made a comeback and hit the Worm for a two count and tagged in Christopher. Christopher whipped Jerry to the ropes and Jerry rolled him up with a small package for a two count. Jerry tagged in Jack. Jack hit the rolling reverse cradle for a two count. Jack locked on the figure four but Taylor made the save. Jack tagged in Jerry and locked Taylor in the figure four while Jerry locked Christopher in the figure four. Both members of Too Cool tapped out.
Winners - The Briscos by submission
3. Gorilla Monsoon vs. Steve Regal Regal frustrated Monsoon with his agility and took the big man down. Regal locked on the Fort Lauderdale Leglock and Monsoon dragged himself to the ropes to break the hold. Regal continued his attack on Monsoon’s legs and locked on his signature hold again but Monsoon was able to reach the ropes. Regal locked on the hold a third time but Monsoon again refused to tap out and rolled to the ropes. Monsoon made a comeback but his knee gave out. Regal hit a belly to belly suplex for a two count. Regal hit a leaping elbow drop for the win.
Winner - Steve Regal by pinfall
After the match, Killer Kowalski came to the ring and told Monsoon he’d lost his killer instinct and Kowalski would help him get it back. Gorilla nodded his head and left the ring with Kowalski to a round of boos.
4. Kurt Angle vs. Sgt. Slaughter - 3rd round Gagne Cup match Angle and Slaughter battled back and forth. Angle recovered first after a double clothesline and went on the attack but had a hard time hurting Slaughter. Angle finally hit a German Suplex and made the cover but Slaughter kicked out. Angle locked on the Ankle Lock but Slaughter fought his way to the ropes. Slaughter made a comeback but Angle hit another German Suplex and locked on the Ankle Lock. Slaughter tapped out.
Winner - Kurt Angle by submission to advance to the finals

LWF Legacy of Gold 1.47 The show opened with a recap of last week’s show and announced that Gorilla Monsoon & Killer Kowalski will be wrestling the Bolsheviks at LWF Legacy of Gold Present Pure Dynamite. They also hyped Kurt Angle vs. the winner of tonight’s main event of Great Gama vs. Stan Hansen in the finals of the Gagne Cup at Pure Dynamite.
1. Les Thatcher vs. The Grappler The Grappler attacked Thatcher before the bell but Thatcher battled back and got a two count after a series of dropkicks. Thatcher and the Grappler battled back and forth. Grappler got the upper hand and hit a neckbreaker for a two count. The two men battled on the floor and Thatcher got the advantage. Thatcher rolled Grappler into the ring and locked on the stump puller. Grappler quickly tapped out.
Winner - Les Thatcher by submission
2. Billy Wicks vs. JJ Dillon Wicks and Dillon battled back and forth. The crowd grew restless. Dillon finally got some momentum going and hit an ax-handle off the turnbuckle for a two count. Dillon hit the elbow drop for the win.
Winner - JJ Dillon by pinfall
3. The Poffos vs. The Varsity Club Lanny Poffo and Mike Rotunda started the match. Lanny had Rotunda in trouble early on and hit the flying headscissors takedown for a two count. Lanny went for a flying cross body but Rotunda rolled through and hooked the leg for a two count. Rotunda hit a butterfly suplex for the win.
Winner - The Varsity Club by pinfall
4. Great Gama vs. Stan Hansen - 3rd round Gagne Cup match Gama kept one step ahead of Hansen, frustrating the Texan. Gama hit a Gama Throw for a two count. Gama hit a second Gama Throw for the win.
Winner - Great Gama by pinfall to advance to the finals

I was pulling for Hansen since he's been on a hot streak lately. He's never done much for me before. It's at -2 in the 1 spot on L3O.

Yeah, same reason Hansen can never win for me. That's a death spot. About as bad as agility or power on move 1 of level 2 offense and it's your bad stat.

Big upset win for "Mr. Electricity" over Gorilla Monsoon. Hopefully, Kowalski can help him regain his "Killer" instinct!
I think our Olympic Hero will beat Great Gama in the finals. After winning an Olympic gold medal with a broken freakin' neck, he can do anything!
