The show opened with a recap of last week and hyped tonight’s first round Gagne Cup matches. It was announced that Tommy Rich & Eddie Gilbert vs. Dutch Mantell & Bill Dundee will take place in two weeks, provided Bill Dundee is medically cleared. Eddie GIlbert will wrestle Dutch Mantell next week.

1. Konnan & Juvi vs. Too Cool
Konnan and Scott Taylor started the match. Konnan dominated Taylor and hit a belly to belly suplex for a two count. Konnan tagged in Juvi. Juvi hit a springboard guillotine leg drop for a two count. Juvi went to the top and hit the 450 splash but Taylor got his foot on the ropes. Juvi hit the Juvi Driver and tagged in Konnan. Konnan hit the Niagara Driver but Christopher made the save. Juvi hit two more Juvi Drivers and tagged Konnan back in. Konnan hit a German Superplex for the win.

2. Ray Stevens vs. George South
Stevens let South have some offense but quickly put him away with the Crippling Piledriver for the win.

3. Angelo Poffo vs. Mad Dog Vachon - Gagne Cup 1st round
Poffo and Vachon battled back and forth. Vachon got some momentum going and hit the double foot stomp for a two count. Vachon hit a piledriver but Poffo managed to kick out. Poffo made a comeback but Vachon quickly turned things around and hit a backbreaker for a two count. Vachon hit the Mad Dog Pounce for the win.

4. The Sheepherders vs. The Mulkeys - No DQ
Luke and Randy started the match. Randy tried getting some offense going but Luke flattened him with a double sledge and covered him for a two count. The match spilled out to the floor and Randy brained Luke with a chair! The crowd exploded as Randy went to the top and hit a flying body press for a two count. Randy tagged in Bill. Luke took some lumps from Bill but turned things around and the Sheepherders hit the battering ram for the win.

5. Ken Shamrock vs. Marty Jannetty
Sharmock and Jannetty traded the advantage back and forth. Shamrock dodged a turnbuckle charge and locked on the rolling knee bar. Jannetty quickly tapped out.

6. Bob Backlund vs. Masked Superstar - Gagne Cup 1st round
Backlund quickly took Superstar to the mat and hit an underhook suplex for a two count. Backlund locked on the crossface chickenwing and Superstar tapped out.

The show opened with a recap and hyped the double main event of Jack Brisco vs. The Dynamite Kid for the LWF World Heavyweight title and Slaughter & Kernodle defending the tag belts against the Sheepherders in a No DQ match.

1. D’Lo Brown & Mark Henry vs. The Taylors
Mark Henry and Tugboat Taylor started the match. Henry dominated Tugboat and hit a backbreaker for a two count. Henry punished Tugboat a little longer and tagged in D-Lo. D’Lo hit a samoan drop flapjack for a two count. D’Lo knocked Chaz off the apron and hit the moonsault for the win.

Winners - D’Lo & Mark Henry by pinfall

Dynamite Kid was being interviewed backstage when he was attacked by Fit Finlay. Finlay slammed Dynamite’s knee with a chair before security arrived. Dynamite was shown writhing on the ground clutching his knee before the show went to commercial.

2. Ray Stevens vs. Brickhouse Brown
Stevens took Brown apart and hit the double underhook suplex for a two count. Stevens hit the bombs away knee drop but Brown got his foot on the ropes before the three count. Stevens hit another double underhook suplex for a near fall. Brickhouse rallied but Stevens took the fight outside the ring. Stevens slammed Brown into the ringpost and the referee called for the bell.

Winner - Brickhouse Brown by DQ

3. Eddie Gilbert vs. Dutch Mantell
Gilbert and Dutch battled back and forth and seemed more intent on torturing one another. Dutch got some momentum going and hit the Double Dutch Clutch for a two count. Gilbert rallied and hit the neckbreaker clothesline for a two count. Gilbert hit the Hot Shot but Mantell kicked out at 2. Gilbert nailed Dutch with a foreign object, busting him open. Gilbert hit a DDT and a second Hot Shot for the win.

Winner - Eddie Gilbert by pinfall

Gilbert gave Dutch a piledriver and put the boots to him until security arrived.

4. Angelo Poffo vs. Masked Superstar
Poffo and Superstar battled back and forth. Poffo caught Superstar with a small package for a two count. Poffo threw Superstar to the outside and hit a neckbreaker on the concrete. Superstar failed to beat the count back into the ring.

Winner - Angelo Poffo by count out

Before the double main event, the second round matches for the Gagne Cup were revealed:
Bruiser Brody vs. Vampiro - next week
Randy Savage vs. Magnum TA - next week
Bob Backlund vs. Billy Wicks - in two weeks
Antonio Inoki vs. Mad Dog Vachon - in two weeks

5. Jack Brisco vs. The Dynamite Kid - LWF World Heavyweight title match
Dynamite tore into Brisco early on but Brisco took the beating and made a comeback. The two men traded suplexes and Brisco caught Dynamite with a rolling reverse cradle for a two count. Brisco hit a knee breaker on Dynamite’s heavily taped knee and used his rolling reverse cradle a second time for a near fall. Brisco hit a Thesz Press for a two count. Brisco locked on the figure four but Dynamite fought his way to the ropes. He limped as he made his way to his feet. Brisco attacked Dynamite’s knee like a shark, earning a round of boos. Brisco locked on the figure four a second time and Dynamite tapped out.

Winner - Jack Brisco by submission, his first title defense

After the match, Fit Finlay came out of the crowd and attacked Dynamite as he made his way to the back. Dynamite and Finlay brawled into the crowd and were mobbed by security.

6. Slaughter & Kernodle vs. The Sheepherders - LWF World Tag Team title match - No DQ
Slaughter and Williams started the match. Slaughter controlled the match early on but Williams took control after a brawl on the outside. Slaughter and Williams brawled outside the ring and Slaughter made a comeback. Slaughter locked on the Cobra Clutch but Williams escaped the hold. Slaughter tagged in Kernodle and Kernodle hit the top rope clothesline for a two count. Kernodle hit a second top rope clothesline and tagged Slaughter. Slaughter and Kernodle hit the Atomic Bomb but Miller made the save. Slaughter threw Miller out of the ring and locked on the Cobra Clutch. Kernodle battled Miller outside the ring while Wililams tapped.

Winners - Slaughter & Kernodle by submission, their second successful title defense

LWF Legacy of Gold 2.47
The show opened with a recap of last week’s show. In addition to the two second round Gagne Cup matches, the announce team hyped Tommy Rich & Eddie Gilbert vs. Bill Dundee & Dutch Mantell - No Disqualification later tonight. It was also announced that the LWF is suspending the 30 day rule so the next defenses of the LWF World Heavyweight title and LWF World Tag Team titles will be at LWF Legacy of Gold Presents End of Days in five weeks.


1. Dillon & Riddle vs. DiPaolo & Lyons
Riddle and Lyons started the match. Lyons took control and rocked Riddle with rapid fire dropkicks. DIPaolo clamped on the body scissors and Lyons held off Dillon until RIddle tapped out.

Winners - DiPaolo & Lyons by pinfall

The Dynamite Kid was joined live via satellite. He said he’d need to rest his knee for a few weeks but challenged Fit Finlay to any kind of match Finlay wanted at LWF Legacy of Gold Presents End of Days to finish things once and for all

2. Tom Prichard vs. George Tragos
Tragos quickly took Prichard down and locked on the armlock and scissors but Prichard escaped the hold. Tragos worked on Prichard with the double wristlock and locked on the armlock and scissors a second time. Prichard made it to the ropes but was favoring his arm. Prichard got some offense going but missed a turnbuckle charge and Tragos rolled him up for a two count. Tragos wrenched Prichard’s arms with two double wristlocks. Prichard rallied and hit the Doctor Tom Bomb for a two count. Prichard threw Tragos to the floor and suplexed him on the concrete. Tragos barely beat the count back into the ring. Tragos made a comeback and locked on the armlock and scissors. Prichard quickly tapped out.

Winner- George Tragos by submission

Prichard’s arm was hanging at an odd angle and he had to be assisted to the back.

3. Bruiser Brody vs. Vampiro - Gagne Cup 2nd round
Brody and Vampiro battered one another with stiff shots. Brody got some momentum going and hit the jumping knee drop but Vampiro got his foot on the ropes. Vampiro rolled Brody up with a small package for a two count to turn things around. Brody and Vampiro traded the advantage back and forth. Brody hit the jumping knee drop for the win.

Winner - Bruiser Brody by pinfall. Brody advances to round 3 of the Gagne Cup

4. Les Thatcher vs. Ray Stevens
Thatcher took the fight to Stevens early on but couldn’t keep him on the mat. Stevens recovered and hit the crippling piledriver for a two count. Stevens hit a vertical suplex for a two count. Thatcher made a comeback and hit a flying head scissors for a two count. Stevens shut Thatcher down and hit the bombs away knee drop for the win.

5. Rich & Gilbert vs. Dundee & Mantell - No DQ
Gilbert and Dundee started the match. Gilbert and Dundee battled back and forth. Gilbert got some momentum going and nailed Dundee with a foreign object. Gilbert hit a Hot Shot and tagged in Rich. Rich hit a big right uppercut for a two count. Rich hit the Thesz Press but Dutch Mantell made the save. Rich locked on the Wildfire Sleeper but Dundee escaped the hold. Rich tagged Gilbert back in. Dundee made a comeback and made the hot tag to Mantell. Mantell clobbered Gilbert and hit the jumping knee drop for a two count. Mantell hit a short arm clothesline for another near fall. Dutch hit the Double Dutch Clutch but couldn’t put Gilbert away. Dutch threw Gilbert to the outside and Gilbert slammed him into the ring apron. Gilbert threw him back in the ring and tagged in Tommy Rich. Rich hit a vertical suplex for a two count. Rich hit a Thesz Press for a two count. Rich DDTed Mantell on the concrete and rolled him back into the ring. Rich hit the Thesz Press but Bill Dundee managed to make the save. Gilbert hit the Hot Shot for the win.

Winners - Tommy Rich & Eddie Gilbert by pinfall

After the match, Eddie Gilbert went under the ring and got two pair of work gloves. He put one pair on and handed the other to Rich. Gilbert reached under the ring again and got out a spool of barbed wire. A big red X covered most of the screen as Gilbert & Rich worked over Dundee & Mantell with the barbed wire until security and local law enforcement stormed the ring. Rich & Gilbert were escorted out in handcuffs. Dundee & Mantell were stretchered out and taken to a local medical facility.

6. Randy Savage vs. Magnum TA - Gagne Cup 2nd round
Macho Man hit Magnum like a truck at the opening bell but Magnum took everything he dished out. Magnum made a comeback and hit a belly to belly suplex for the win!

Winner - Magnum TA by pinfall. Magnum TA advances to round 3 of the Gagne Cup.

Savage attacked Magnum after the match and hit the flying elbow smash. Security hit the ring as the show went off the air.
