LWF Legacy of Gold 2.48 The show opened with a recap of last week’s show. After being released from a local medical facility, Bill Dundee & Dutch Mantell challenged Tommy Rich & Eddie Gilbert to a barbed wire match at LWF Legacy of Gold Presents End of Days.
1. Race & Hennig vs. Monroe & Ware Hennig and Monroe started the match. Hennig and Monroe battled back and forth. Hennig got some momentum going and hit an elbow drop for a two count. Hennig tagged in Race. Monroe made a comeback and hit the neckbreaker for a two count and tagged in Ware. Race and Koko battled back and forth. Ware hit a missile dropkick for a two count. Ware and Monroe hit the slingshot power slam. Monroe hit a running knee lift for a two count. Monroe hit a neckbreaker for the win.

2. Randy Savage vs. George South Savage looked more furious than usual as he attacked South. Savage quickly hit South with a flying elbow smash for the win.

After the match, Savage went to the top and hit another flying elbow smash. Savage climbed the buckles again but Magnum TA pulled South to safety and attacked Savage! The two men battled until security mobbed the ringside area.
3. Bob Backlund vs. Billy Wicks - Gagne Cup 2nd round Backlund and Wicks wrestled on the mat for the first few minutes. Wicks and Backlund battled back and forth. Backlund whipped Wicks to the ropes and Wicks rolled him up in a small package for a two count. Wicks wore Backlund down with the crossface headlock. Backlund made a comeback but Wicks shut him down and hit a bulldog for the win.

Chris Candido was interviewed in the back. He said he didn’t like what George Tragos did to Tom Prichard a couple weeks ago and challenged him to a match next week.
4. Konnan & Juvi vs. The Sheepherders Juvi and Butch started the match. Miller nailed Juvi with a running knee to the gut for a two count. Miller went to the top rope and Juvi went up after him and hit a huracanrana for a two count. Juvi hit the Juvi Driver for a two count and tagged in Konnan. Konnan hit the Niagara Driver but Williams made the save. Konnan hit a second Niagara Driver for the win.

5. Ray Stevens vs. Brickhouse Brown Stevens quickly got the upper hand and hit the crippling piledriver for a two count. Stevens hit a second piledriver for the win.

6. Antonio Inoki vs. Mad Dog Vachon - Gagne Cup 2nd round Inoki and Vachon tore into each other. Vachon got the upper hand and hit a backbreaker for a two count. Vachon hit a piledriver but Inoki got his foot on the ropes. Vachon hit the mad dog pounce. Inoki rallied and got some momentum goin. Inoki drilled Vachon with the Eunzuigiri for a two count. Inoki and Vachon traded the advantage back and forth. Vachon hit the double foot stomp for a two count. Vachon hit the Mad Dog Pounce and followed it up with a piledriver for the win.

LWF Legacy of Gold 2.49 The show opened with the announcement that Rich & Gilbert vs. Dundee & Mantell has been made official for LWF Legacy of Gold Presents End of Days. It was also announced that Sputnik Monroe & Koko Ware will wrestle Ilio DiPaolo & Red Lyons next week with the winners taking on Slaughter & Kernodle for the LWF World Tag Team titles at End of Days. It was also announced that Antonio Inoki and Ray Stevens are expected to appear with opponents TBD.
1. Mikey & The Mummy vs. Dillon & Riddle Prince Kharis and JJ Dillon started the match. Dillon and Kharis quickly took things outside and Kharis was disqualified for slamming Dillon with a chair.

2. Steve Corino vs. Mike Jackson Corino got the upper hand and nailed Jackson with a super kick. Corino hit the old school expulsion for the win.

After the match, Corino got on the mic and asked why Antonio Inoki deserved a match at End of Days since he lost to Mad Dog Vachon. Corino said he’d beat Antonio Inoki anywhere in the world.
3. Chris Candido vs. George Tragos Candido got the advantage early on and hit a neckbreaker for a two count. Candido muscled Tragos up and hit the Blond Bomb for the win.

4. Race & Hennig vs. Konnan & Juvi Hennig and Konnan started the match. Konnan and Hennig battled back and forth. Konnan hit a sidewalk slam for a two count. Hennig bounced back and drilled him with a double forearm hammer for a near fall. Hennig wore Konnan down with a bear hug and tagged in Race. Harley mauled Konnan and hit a back suplex for a two count. Konnan made the hot tag to Juvi. Harley turned things around and hit a vertical sulpex for a two count. Harley hit a second vertical suplex but couldn’t put Juvi away. Juvi tried making a comeback but Race shut him down and tagged in Hennig. Juvi made a comeback and hit a slingshot guillotine legdrop for the win.

5. Bruiser Brody vs. Billy Wicks - Gagne Cup Semifinal Brody bulldozed Wicks at the opening bell and hit the Bruiser Backbreaker for a two count. Wicks rallied and locked on the double wristlock but Brody powered out of the hold. Wicks locked on the rear toehold but Brody fought his way out of the hold. Wicks and Brody battled back and forth. Wicks ate Brody’s boot in the corner and Brody rolled him up with a handful of tights for the win.

6. Magnum TA vs. Mad Dog Vachon - Gagne Cup Semifinal Magnum TA came to the ring with his ribs taped as a result of last week’s brawl with Randy Savage. Magnum got the upper hand early on and hit a dropkick for a two count. Vachon took a beating but came back and hit a double foot stomp for a two count. Vachon hit the mad dog pounce and covered Magnum for a two count. Magnum and Mad Dog brawled on the outside. Magnum got the advantage and hit the belly to belly suplex for a two count. Mad Dog made a comeback and hit the piledriver for the win.
