1. Frank Gotch vs. Big Bully Busick
Busick bulldozed Gotch before the bell and wore him down with a bear hug. Busick hit the slingshot atomic drop for a two count. Gotch got some momentum going and locked on the crossface and armbar but Busick made it to the ropes. Gotch locked on the Gotch toehold for the win.

Winner - Frank Gotch by submission

2. The Fabulous Ones vs. The Moondogs
Lane and Spot started the match. The Moondogs double teamed Stan Lane in the opening minutes. Lane made a comeback and tossed Spot to the outside. Spot grabbed the bone from ringside and drilled Lane with it, busting him open and earning a DQ.

Winners - The Fabulous Ones by DQ.

The two teams brawled until security pulled them apart.

3. Gorilla Monsoon vs. Killer Kowalski
Kowalski had the upper hand early on but Gorilla took control and hit the Manchurian Landslide for a two count. Kowalski and Monsoon battled back and forth. Kowalski hit a jumping knee drop for a two count. Kowalski hit a bombs away and locked on the Kowalski Claw but Monsoon managed to break the hold. Kowalski hit another Bombs Away. Monsoon mounted a comeback but Kowalski regained control after a brawl on the outside. Kowalski hit another bombs away. Monsoon got some momentum going after rolling Kowalski up after a missed turnbuckle charge for a two count. Monsoon hit the Manchurian Landslide but Kowalski got his foot on the ropes. Monsoon power slammed Kowalski in the middle of the ring and hit the Manchurian Landslide a second time for the win.

Winner - Gorilla Monsoon by pinfall

Kowalski attacked Monsoon from behind as he was celebrating and put the boots to him before leaving the ring area.

4. Johnny Valentine vs. Kurt Angle - #1 contender match
Angle out grappled Valentine early on but Valentine knocked him senseless with a seres of chops and locked on the Sleeper. Angle escaped the hold and turned things around with a small package for a two count. Angle hit the Olympic Slam but it wasn’t enough to put Valentine away. Angle locked on the Ankle Lock but Valentine fought his way out of the hold. Angle hit the Olympic Slam a second time and pulled down the straps. Valentine rolled away but Angle suplexed him and hit a moonsault for a two count. Angle hit a big German Suplex and locked on the Ankle Lock in the middle of the ring. Valentine tapped out.

Winner - Kurt Angle by submission.

Rather than going to the back, Angle joined the broadcast booth on commentary. As the two teams made their way down to ringside, The Dynamite Kid and Angle exchanged dirty looks.

5. Bulldogs vs. Rich & Mantell - LWF World Tag Team title match
Davey and Dutch started the match. Davey and Dutch battled back and forth. Dutch got a two count with a backbreaker and tagged in Rich. Rich locked on the Wildfire Sleeper but Davey escaped the hold. Davey made the hot tag to Dynamite. Dynamite unloaded on Rich and hit a snap suplex for a two count. Dynamite hit a superplex and Dutch pulled Rich out the ring. Dynamite came out after him and all four men brawled around the ring area. Dutch went for his whip but Dynamite grabbed it and started going to town on Rich and Mantell. The referee had enough and called for the bell.

Winners - Tommy Rich and Dutch Mantell by disqualilfication

Security hit the ring and pulled the two teams apart. As the referees restored order, it was announced that on the next episode of LWF Legacy of Gold, Bob Backlund will be wrestling Gorilla Monsoon for the vacant LWF Continental title.

6. Vader vs. Abdullah - Falls Count Anywhere for the LWF World Heavyweight title
Abdullah dominated Vader early on, reopening the cut about Vader’s eye and gnawing on his forehead. Vader battled back and pummeled Abdullah. Abdullah rolled out of the ring and Vader went out after him. Abullah slammed Vader’s head into the ringpost and gouged him with the fork. Vader made a comeback and slammed Abdullah on a table. Vader suplexed Abdullah on the concrete and covered him for a two count. Vader rolled Abdullah back into the ring. Vader hit a Vader Bomb for a two count. Vader and Abdullah brawled all over the ring area. Adbullah got the upper hand and threw Vader back into the ring. Abdullah hit a brutal karate thrust to the throat, leaving Vader gasping for breath.The mastodon battled back and hit a power slam for a two count. Abdullah rolled out of the ring and Vader followed him. Abdullah blasted Vader with a chair and Vader went down. Abdullah covered him for a two count. Vader hit a low blow and blasted Abdullah with a chair. Both men were wearing the crimson mask. Vader rolled Abdullah back into the ring. Vader hit a power slam for the win.

Winner - Vader by pinfall, his eleventh successful defense of the LWF World Heavyweight tile

Angle took the mic and entered the ring. He got in Vader’s face and told him he’d be winning the belt from him in three weeks at War of the Titans. The show went off the air with security getting in between Angle and Vader.

The show opened with a recap of Maximum Destruction and announced the following matches for LWF Legacy of Gold presents War of the Titans.
Vader vs. Kurt Angle for the LWF World Heavyweight title
The British Bulldogs vs. Tommy Rich and Dutch Mantell in a Bullwhip match for the LWF World Tag Team titles
The Fabulous Ones vs. The Moondogs in a return match
Sputnik Monroe, Billy Wicks, and Frank Gotch are signed to appear but their opponents have yet to be determined

1. Billy Wicks vs. Ranger Ross
Ross surprised Wicks and gave him some tense moments early on. Wicks made a comeback and wore Ross down with an abdominal stretch. Wicks locked on the double wristlock but Ross escaped the hold. Wicks hit a waistlock suplex for a two count. Wicks locked on the rear toehold and Ross tapped out.

Winner - Billy Wicks by submission

2. Jerry Lynn Vs. Thunderbolt Patterson
Lynn and Patterson battled back and forth. Patterson surprised Lynn with a head butt out of nowhere for the win.

3. Midnight Express with Jim Cornette vs. American Males
Eaton and Riggs started the match. The Midnight Express quickly hit the double goozle for a two count. Condrey and Eaton hit the Rocket Launcher but Riggs managed to get his foot on the ropes. Eaton and Condrey hit the Midnight Massacre for the win.

Before the main event, it was announced that next week’s main event will be Killer Kowalski vs. Don Leo Jonathan with the winner getting a shot at the LWF Continental title at War of the Titans.

4. Bob Backlund vs. Gorilla Monsoon for the vacant LWF Continental title match
Backlund out grappled Monsoon early on, even hitting the delayed vertical suplex. Monsoon battled back and hit the Manchurian Landslide for a two count. Monsoon whirled Backlund around with the giant swing but it wasn’t enough for Backlund to submit. Monsoon hoisted Backlund up in a Backbreaker but Backlund refused to submit. Monsoon hit a second Manchurian Landslide but Backlund got his foot on the ropes before the three count. Monsoon dragged Backlund to the middle of the ring and put the boots to him before hitting the Manchurian Landslide a third time for the win.

Winner - Gorilla Monsoon by pinfall. Gorilla Monsoon is the new LWF Continental champion!

The show opened with a recap of last week’s show and hyped Don Leo Jonathan vs. Killer Kowalski in tonight’s main event. It was also announced that the bullwhip match between The British Bulldogs and Tommy Rich & Dutch Mantell will go on last at War of the Titans so parents with young children can leave the event early.

1. Tony Anthony vs. Mike Jackson
Jackson monkey flipped Anthony at the opening bell and hit a flying dropkick for a two count. Jackson rolled him up with a float-over cradle for a two count. Anthony came back and nailed Jackson with a clothesline for the win.

2. Johnny Valentine vs. Tracey Smothers
Smothers controlled the match early on but Valentine shut him down with a big chop to the chest. Valentine hit an atomic skullcrusher for a two count. Valentine hit two more atomic skullcrushers for the win.

3. Fabulous Ones vs. PG-13
Keirn and JC Ice started the match. Keirn brought JC Ice down with a punch to the throat and hit the Fabulous Forearm for the win.

4. Killer Kowalski vs. Don Leo Jonathan for a shot at the LWF Continental title at War of the Titans
Kowalski raked the eyes and tried to pull DLJ down by the hair but Jonathan was having none of it and whirled Kowalski with the giant swing. Kowalski got the upper hand but couldn’t get any momentum going. DLJ took control and mauled Kowalski on the outside. Jonathan used the Mormon Swing but it wasn’t enough to put Kowalski away. Kowalski and Jonathan traded the advantage back and forth. Jonathan hit an atomic drop for a two count. Kowalski got the upper hand and went for the bombs away knee drop but missed! Jonathan hoisted him up in the Mormon Swing but Kowalski wouldn’t submit. Jonathan put him in the Mormon Swing a third time for the win.

Winner - Don Leo Jonathan by submission! Don Leo Jonathan will face Gorilla Monsoon for the LWF Continental title at War of the Titans!

1. Austin Idol & Stan Hansen vs. The Mulkeys
Hansen and Randy Mulkey started the match. Mulkey got in some offense on Hansen, infuriating the big Texan. Hansen wound up for the lariat but instead tagged in Idol. Idol locked on the Las Vegas Leglock for the win.

2. Sputnik Monroe vs. Pampero Firpo
Monroe and Firpo battled all over the ring area. Firpo took Monroe down and locked on El Garfio but Sputnik fought his way out of the hold. Sputnik made a comeback but couldn’t seem to keep Firpo on the mat. Firpo and Sputnik battled on the floor. Sputnik got the upper hand and hit an atomic drop for a two count. Sputnik hit a neckbreaker but couldn’t get the three count. Sputnik hit a second neckbreaker for the win.

3. Frank Gotch vs. Don Curtis
Gotch and Curtis grappled back and forth. Curtis gave Gotch some tense moments until Gotch got the upper hand and hit the Iowa Backdrop for a two count. Curtis regained control of the match and locked on the Sleeper but Gotch escaped the hold. Curtis locked on the Sleeper a second time but Gotch fought his way to the ropes. Curtis locked on the Sleeper a third time but Gotch was able to get his foot under the ropes. Gotch made a comeback and locked on the Gotch Toehold for the win.

4. Vader & Dynamite vs. Angle & Rich
The Dynamite Kid and Kurt Angle started the match. Angle and Dynamite wrestled back and forth, wowwing the crowd. Dynamite hit a snap suplex for a two count. Dynamite hit a superplex for a two count and Vader demanded to be tagged in. Dynamite slapped Vader in the face and told him he was tagged. Vader shoved Dynamite off the apron and attacked Angle. Vader hit a splash for a two count. Vader and Angle brawled on the outside. Vader rolled Angle back into the ring. Angle made a comeback and dumped Vader on his head and neck with a German Suplex. Angle tagged in Tommy Rich. Vader shut Rich down and mauled him in the corner. Vader whipped Rich into the ropes and Rich rolled him up with a sunset flip. Dynamite Kid smiled on the apron as the referee made the three count.

Vader and Dynamite got into a brawl after the match with Kurt Angle and Tommy Rich looking on as the show went off the air.

1. Gorilla Monsoon vs. Don Leo Jonathan - LWF Continental Title match
The two giants battled back and forth. DLJ frustrated Gorilla with his agility advantage. DLJ whipped Gorilla to the buckles and Gorilla booted him in the face. Gorilla hit the Manchurian Landslide but only got a two count. Gorilla hit a running tackle for a two count. Jonathan rallied and whipped Gorilla to the buckles but Gorilla flattened him with a lariat and covered him for a two count. Gorilla hit the Manchurian Landslide for the win.

Winner - Gorilla Monsoon by pinfall, his first defense of the LWF Continental title

2. Thunderbolt Patterson Vs. Sputnik Monroe
Patterson got the upper hand at the opening bell, rocking Monroe with boxing jabs and hitting a big right uppercut for a two count. Sputnik recovered and nearly choked Patterson out. Sputnik hit a neckbreaker for the win.

3. Fabulous Ones vs. Moondogs
Keirn and Rex started the match. The Fabulous Ones dominated early on, hitting the double hamstring pull on Rex. Rex made a comeback and tagged in Spot. Lane regained control and hit a gut wrench suplex on Spot for a two count. The Fabs hit the double DDT for the win.

4. Billy Wicks vs. Johnny Valentine
Wicks and Valentine quickly ended up brawling on the outside. Valentine hit a backbreaker on the floor and Wicks was barely able to beat the count back into the ring. Valentine tortured Wicks. Wicks appeared to be making a comeback but Valentine killed his momentum with a forearm hammer. Valentine hit an atomic skullcrusher for a two count. Wicks rallied but Valentine killed his momentum again. Valentine whipped Wicks to the buckles and Wicks exploded out of the corner with a lariat. The match spilled out of the ring and Valentine regained the upper hand. Valentine nailed Wicks with an atomic skullcrusher for the win.

5. Frank Gotch vs. Killer Kowalski
Gotch quickly threw Kowalksi to the mat with a waistlock takeover at the opening bell. Kowalski rolled out of the ring and Gotch went out after him. The two men battled on the floor until Kowalski smashed Gotch with the ring bell, earning the DQ.

Winner - Frank Gotch by disqualification

6. Vader with Jim Cornette vs. Kurt Angle - LWF World Heavyweight title match
Vader lit into Angle with powerful forearm shots at the opening bell. Vader whipped Angle to the ropes and Angle rolled him up with a small package for the win before Jim Cornette had time to react!

Winner - Kurt Angle by pinfall. Kurt Angle is the new LWF World Heavyweight champion!

The referee handed Kurt Angle the belt. As Kurt held it high overhead, Vader bulldozed him from behind and power bombed him on the belt. Vader kept saying “It was a fluke! It was a fluke!” as he put the boots to the Olympic hero. Security mobbed the ring and finally escorted Vader and Jim Cornette out.

Angle got to his feet and said he’d prove he was no fluke champion and said he’d give Vader a rematch at the next big event, LWF Legacy of Gold Presents The Proving Ground, two out of three falls!

Gary Michael Capetta got on the mic and addressed the crowd, saying it was time for small children and their parents to leave the arena.

7. British Bulldogs vs. Rich & Mantell - Bullwhip match for the LWF World Tag Team titles
Davey Boy Smith and Dutch Mantell started the match. Davey got ahold of the whip and quickly opened some cuts on Dutch with it. The Bulldogs hit the Tower of London on Dutch just minutes into the match but Dutch kicked out. Dynamite hit a snap suplex and Dutch rolled out of the ring. Dynamite went out after him and mowed him down. Dynamite threw Dutch back into the ring and hit a diving head butt for a two count. Dynamite tagged in Davey and the Bulldogs hit the Tower of London again but Tommy Rich made the save. Dynamite clotheslined Dutch with the whip. Dutch was able to tag out to Tommy Rich. Dynamite tried to whip Tommy but Rich got the whip and turned the tide. Rich hit a fist drop for a two count. Rich and Dynamite battled on the outside. Dynamite suplexed Rich on the ring steps and tagged in Davey. The Bulldogs hit a double head butt, busting Rich open. Dynamite and Rich fought over the whip. Rich whipped Dynamite’s injured back and went on the offensive.

Dynamite turned things around and tagged in Davey. Davey tagged in Dynamite. Rich whipped Dynamite to the outside but Dynamite was waiting for him and suplexed him on the concrete. Rich grabbed the bullwhip and made a comeback. Dynamite got the bullwhip and clotheslined Rich with it. Dynamite whipped Rich over and over and tagged in Davey. The Bulldogs nailed Rich with a double head butt, nearly knocking him out. Dynamite hit the diving head butt and hooked the leg but Dutch attacked him from behind with the whip, choking him. Rich covered Dynamite but Davey made the save. Rich hit a vertical suplex but Dynamite kicked out. Rich hit a Thesz Press but Dynamite managed to get his shoulder up. Rich locked on the Wildfire Sleeper but Dynamite escaped the hold. Dynamite made a comeback and hit a snap suplex followed by a diving head butt but Rich kicked out. Dynamite knocked Dutch off the apron and tagged in Davey. Davey hit a fisherman’s suplex for the win.
