Bombers might or maybe the Briscos. For me its mostly the Bulldogs and the Midnights. I think I'll bring in the Midnight if things don't even out by season 4.

A whole helluva lot going on, my friend... Backlund is having an exceptional run with the heavyweight belt and I'm excited for the Briscos to challenge the tag champs - whoever they might be after the next card.
Also looking forward to the arrival of Mil Mascaras following his wildly successful leading role in The Mummy's Heart (an absolute masterpiece, imho)... And it's very cool that Mad Dog Vachon has been making some noise since his return... Fun times all around!

Backlund choked for me the first two or three times I tried to push him so this has been one hell of a ride. I'm trying to burn through my backlog of cards I have written up but haven't posted yet. LWF Legacy of Gold 3.38 Gordon Solie and Jesse Venture welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event of The Blond Bombers vs. Tony Garea & Larry Zbsyzko with the titles on the line! Ventura also announces that next week’s main event will see Bob Backlund & Roddy Piper teaming up to take on Austin Idol & The Iron Sheik in a grudge match after last week’s events..
1. Hennig & Mulligan vs. The Mulkeys Larry Hennig and Randy Mulkey start the match. Hennig flattens Randy and tags in Mulligan. Mulligan hits the back elbow ram for the win.
Winners - Hennig & Mulligan by pinfall
Ventura puts over Hennig & Mulligan. Solie introduces the next match featuring Mexican legend Mil Mascaras.
2. Mil Mascaras vs. Mr X X gets in some offense but Mascaras nails him with a breathtaking slingshot plancha to turn things around. Mascaras hits the flying crossbody attack for the win.
Winner - Mil Mascaras by pinfall
Ventura says Mascaras is flashy but he’s reserving judgment until Mascaras beats someone higher on the ladder than Mr X. Solie tells Ventura not to be a spoilsport and introduces the next match.
3. Sgt Slaughter vs. Lord Zoltan Zoltan gets the drop on Slaughter early on and hits a low blow for a two count. Zoltan locks on the Triangle Death Grip and Slaughter taps out.
Winner - Lord Zoltan by submission
Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Sgt Slaughter after the tough loss. Slaughter says he underestimated Zoltan but it won’t happen again. Big John Studd interrupts the interview and says Slaughter’s career is in the toilet and he should just leave the territory. Slaughter says he’ll prove to Studd he still has what it takes in the ring next week. The show goes to commercial and returns with the next match’s participants already in the ring.
4. Frank Gotch vs. Mad Dog Vachon Gotch and Mad Dog battle back and forth. Gotch dodges a turnbuckle charge and clamps on the crossface and bar arm, wearing Mad Dog down. Mad Dog makes a comeback but Gotch turns things around and locks on the Gotch Toehold. Mad Dog claws his way to the ropes. Mad Dog makes a comeback and hits the Mad Dog Pounce. Mad Dog hits the piledriver for a two count. Mad Dog hits a jumping knee drop for a two count. Mad Dog hits a backbreaker for the win.
Winner - Mad Dog Vachon by pinfall
After the match, Mad Dog Vachon snatches the mic from the announcer and tells Bob Backlund he’s coming for him. Ventura says Backlund better not take Vachon lightly if he gets past the Iron Sheik. Solie introduces the next match.
5. Gorilla Monsoon vs. Randy Savage Savage tears into Gorilla like a wildman and hits the double axe handle outside the ring. Savage manhandles Monsoon back into the ring and hits the flying elbow smash for the win.
Winner - Randy Savage by pinfall
Solie heads to the ring to get a word with Randy Savage. Savage says no one in the LWF can stop him and he’ll be the LWF World Heavyweight champion in no time! Harley Race comes down to ringside and attacks the Macho Man! Race and Savage brawl and the show goes to commercial. The show returns with the participants making their way to the ring for the main event.
6. The Blond Bombers vs. Zbyszko & Garea - LWF World Tag Team title match Stevens and Garea start the match. Stevens and Garea battle back and forth. Stevens mauls Garea on the outside and hits a crippling piledriver for a two count. Stevens hits the Bombs Away and Zbyszko breaks the pin with a sheet chair. The referee warns Zbsyzko and Garea covers Stevens but Patterson makes the save. Garea tags in Zbyszko. Stevens makes a comeback and tags in Patterson. Patterson wears Zbyszko down with two figure fours. Patterson hits the bombs away but it’s not enough to put Zbsyzko away. Patterson hits a second Bombs Away for the win.
Winners - The Blond Bombers by pinfall, their third title defense
Ventura and Zbyszko sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week for Sgt Slaughter vs. Big John Studd and the main event of Piper & Backlund vs. Iron Sheik & Austin Idol.

LWF Legacy of Gold 3.39 Gordon Solie and Jesse Venture welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event of Bob Backlund & Roddy Piper vs. Iron Sheik & Austin Idol. Ventura introduces the first match.
1. Lyons & Destroyer vs. The Moondogs Destroyer and Spot start the match. The Moondogs try cutting off The Destroyer in their half of the ring but The Destroyer mounts a comeback and hits a backbreaker on Rex for a near fall. The Destroyer tags in Lyons. The Moondogs double team Lyons and hit the Moondog Splash but Destroyer makes the save. Lyons makes a comeback and he and the Destroyer knock Spot senseless with rapid fire dropkicks. Destroyer locks on the Bow and Arrow but can’t get Spot to submit. The Destroyer locks on the figure four, bringing in Moondog Rex. Lyons grabs Rex and throws him out the other side of the ring. Destroyer wrenches on the Figure Four and Spot taps out.
Winners - Lyons & Destroyer by submission
Ventura says Lyons & Destroyer finally have some momentum going. Solie introduces the next match.
2. Masked Superstar vs. Mr X Masked Superstar makes short work of Mr X, locking on the Cobra Hold for the win.

Solie leaves the booth to get a word with the Masked Superstar. Superstar says no LWF championship is safe from the greatest athlete in the world. He says Mil Mascaras bette watch himself. The show goes to commercial. It returns with Mil Mascaras and Eric the Red already circling one another in the ring.
3. Mil Mascaras vs. Eric the Red Eric pummels Mascaras in the opening minutes but Mascars nails him with a slingshot plancha. Mascaras rolls Eric back into the ring and covers him for a two count. Mascaras hits a flying body press but Eric manages to kick out. Eric tries making a comeback but Mascaras locks on the Octopus Hold and Eric taps out.
Winner - Mil Mascaras by submission
Ventura says he’s still not impressed with Mascaras and wants to see how he handles Nikolai Volkoff next week. Solie introduces the next match.
4. Jack Brisco vs. Pat Patterson Patterson catches Brisco off guard at the opening bell. Patterson works over Brisco and hits the Bombs Away knee drop for the win.
Winner - Pat Patterson by pinfall
Ventura says this is Patterson’s biggest victory to date and he should be a World Title contender if the Blond Bombers ever lose the gold. Gordon Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Sgt Slaughter before his match. Slaughter is fired up and says he’s going to show Big John Studd why he still belongs in the main event. Gordon makes his way back to the booth and Slaughter paces around the ring like a caged animal waiting for Big John Studd.
5. Sgt Slaughter vs. Big John Studd Slaughter attacks Studd as he enters the ring and clamps on the Cobra Clutch. Studd fights his way to the ropes but looks terrified. Slaughter hits a couple Slaughter Cannons and locks on the Cobra Clutch again for the win.
Winner - Sgt Slaughter by submission
Solie says Slaughter badly needed that win. Ventura says they’ll see if he’s able to follow up on it. Solie introduces the main event.
6. Piper & Backlund vs. Iron Sheik & Austin Idol Piper and Idol start the match. Piper lights Idol up and flattens him with a bulldog. Piper locks o n the Sleeper but Idol makes it to the ropes. Backlund hits the rolling back bridge but the Iron Sheik makes the save. Backlund locks on the crossface chickenwing and Piper holds off the Iron Sheik. Austin Idol taps out.
Winners - Piper & Backlund by submission
Ventura and Solie sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week for Bob Backlund vs. The Iron Sheik for the LWF World Heavyweight title and Harley Race vs. Randy Savage.

LWF Legacy of Gold 3.40 Gordon Solie and Jesse Venture welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event of Bob Backlund vs. Iron Sheik with the LWF World Heavyweight title on the line!. Ventura introduces the first match.
1. Hennig & Mulligan vs. McCord & Kernodle Hennig and Kernodle start the match. Kernodle surprises Hennig and gets some momentum going. Kernodle hits the top rope sunset flip for a two count. Kernodle goes to the top and Hennig throws him to the mat. Hennig tags in Mulligan. Mulligan hits a big boot to the face for a two count. Mulligan beats up Kernodle outside the ring and locks on the Blackjack Claw. Kernodle fights his way to the ropes. Mulligan locks on the trapezius claw but McCord makes the save. Mulligan tags in Hennig. Hennig nails Kernodle with the double forearm hammer for the win.
Winners - Hennig & Mulligan by pinfall
Ventura says Hennig & Mulligan are going fine so far but will have to wrestle tougher opponents to impress him. Solie introduces the next match.
2. Masked Superstar vs. SD Jones Superstar takes Jones down with a head butt and locks on the Cobra Hold but Jones makes it to the ropes. Superstar hits a neckbreaker for a two count and locks on the Cobra Hold a second time but Jones still won’t submit! Superstar nails Jones with the Superstar clothesline and covers him for the three count.
Winner - Masked Superstar by pinfall
The Masked Superstar takes his time leaving the ring area and comes face to face with Mil Mascaras. Superstar gets in Mascaras’ face and Nikolai Volkoff attacks Mascaras from behind. Volkoff rolls Mascaras into the ring and the referee rings the bell.
3. Mil Mascaras vs. Nikolai Volkoff Volkoff can’t hold the momentum and Mascaras soon has him trapped in the Octopus Hold. Volkoff manages to hobble to the ropes. Mascaras locks on the bow and arrow, wearing Volkoff down further. Mascaras nails Volkoff with the crossbody attack for the win.
Winner - Mil Mascaras by pinfall
Gordon Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Mil Mascaras. Mascaras challenges Masked Superstar to a match next week. The show goes to commercial. When it returns, DLJ & Snuka vs. The Moondogs is well underway.
4. DLJ & Snuka vs. The Moondogs Snuka and Rex are brawling all over the ring. Snuka hits the leap frog and chop for the win.
Winners - DLJ & Snuka by pinfall
Ventura says he’d like to DLJ & Snuka vs. Hennig & Mulligan one of these days. Solie introduces the next match.
5. Harley Race vs. Randy Savage Race and Savage come out swinging for the fences. Race throws Savage out of the ring and the two men brawl into the crowd. Savage hits the double axe handle on the outside. Race makes a comeback but Savage turns things back around. Race and Savage battle back and forth. Savage hits the flying elbow smash for a two count. Savage hits a piledriver for a two count and another flying elbow smash for the win.
Winner - Randy Savage by pinfall
Solie leaves the booth to get a word with the Macho Man. Savage growls that he’ll take Sgt Slaughter, Mil Mascaras, or anyone else the LWF wants to throw at him and he’ll beat them. He tells the LWF board of directors to grow a pair and leaves through the crowd. Ventura puts over the Macho Man’s intensity and introduces the main event.
6. Bob Backlund vs. The Iron Sheik - LWF World Heavyweight title match Backlund tears into the Sheik at the opening bell and soon has him on the mat. Backlund muscles the Iron Sheik up and hits an Atomic Drop for a two count. The Iron Sheik makes a comeback and goes for the Abdominal Stretch but Backlund reverses the hold and the Sheik nearly submits. The Sheik makes a comeback but Backlund soon has him in trouble again. Backlund hits the rolling back bridge for the win.
Winner - Bob Backlund by pinfall, his tenth title defense. Backlund has passed the number of successful defenses of Race and Thesz. The next milestone is Vader’s 11 successful defense reign.
Ventura and Solie sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week for Mil Mascaras vs. the Masked Superstar, the Blond Bombers vs. The Briscos for the LWF World Tag Team Titles, and Roddy Piper vs. Austin Idol in a dog collar match!

LWF Legacy of Gold 3.41 Gordon Solie and Jesse Venture welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event of Roddy Piper vs. Austin Idol in a dog collar match! Solie says the winner will get a shot at LWF World Heavyweight title in a couple weeks and that next week’s main event will see Bob Backlund defending the gold against Mad Dog Vachon. Ventura introduces the first match.
1. Hennig & Mulligan vs. DLJ & Snuka Mulligan and Snuka start the match.Mulligan hits a big boot to the face and covers Snuka. DLJ breaks the pin but Hennig takes out Jonathan and Mulligan covers Snuka again for a two count. Mulligan hits the back elbow ram for a two count and tags in Hennig. Hennig hits the double forearm hammer for a two count. Snuka makes a hot comeback and nails Mulligan with a leap frog and chop for a two count. Snuka tags in DLJ. The two big men battle back and forth. DLJ hoists Mulligan up in the Mormon Swing but Mulligan won’t submit! Mulligan makes a comeback and tags in Hennig. DLJ soon has Hennig up in the Mormon Swing. DLJ tags in Snuka. Snuka hits a piledriver and covers Hennig but Mulligan makes the save. Superfly hits the Superfly Leap but Hennig gets his foot on the ropes. Snuka tosses Hennig to the outside. Hennig and Snuka brawl around the ring and Hennig slams Snuka into the ring post. The referee calls for the bell.
Winners - DLJ & Snuka by DQ
Ventura says we haven’t seen the last of these two teams. Solie introduces the next match. Ventura says Slaughter better retire if he loses.
2. Lord Zoltan vs. Sgt Slaughter Slaughter runs wild on Zoltan and hits a couple Slaughter Cannons. Zoltan gets to his feet and Slaughter locks on the Cobra Clutch! Zoltan taps out.
Winner - Sgt Slaughter by submission
Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Slaughter. Slaughter challenges Randy Savage to a match, saying he’ll show the Macho Man the old tank still has some ammo left. Ventura introduces the next match.
3. SD Jones vs. Randy Savage Jones gets in some offense but Savage takes control and scores near falls with the double axe handle and the knee drop. Savage hits the neckbreaker clothesline for the win.
Winner - Randy Savage by pinfall
Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Savage. Savage says Slaughter has signed his own death warrant and Savage will be wearing the big gold belt by the end of the year. The show goes to commercial. When it returns, Mil Mascaras is making his entrance.
4. Mil Mascaras vs. The Masked Superstar Mascaras gets the early advantage and nails Superstar with a flying body press for a two count. Mascaras hits a second flying body press for a two count and locks on the bow and arrow. Masked Superstar taps out.
Winner - Mil Mascaras by submission
After the match, Mascaras calls for the mic. He says that he’s heading back to Mexico but he’ll be back on the last show of the year and says if the fans want it, he’ll wrestle for the LWF World Heavyweight championship! The crowd erupts and Mascaras leaves ringside.
Solie and Ventura bicker back and forth about Mascaras deserving a title shot and introduce the next match.
5. Blond Bombers Vs. The Briscos - LWF World Tag Team title match Pat Patterson and Jack Brisco start the match. Patterson clips Brisco’s knee from behind and locks on the figure four. Jerry breaks the hold but Jack’s knee is hurting. Patterson signals for the bombs away and goes to the top but Brisco throws him to the mat and makes the hot tag to Jerry. Patterson gets the better of Brisco and hits the Bombs Away for a two count. Patterson tags in Ray Stevens. Stevens hits the Bombs Away and covers Jerry, bringing in Jack Brisco and Pat Patterson. The Briscos come out on top of the brawl. Jerry makes a comeback and Stevens manages to tag Patterson. Patterson goes on the attack and Jerry tags in Jack. Brisco catches Patterson with the rolling reverse cradle for a two count. Patterson makes a comeback and locks on the Boston Crab. Stevens takes out Jerry Brisco and Jack taps out.
Winners - The Blond Bombers by submission, their fourth title defense Ventura says the Briscos just don’t have what it takes. Solie introduces the next match and warns parents that a dog collar match can get bloody. The crowd is silent as the referee attaches the dog collars.
6. Roddy Piper vs. Austin Idol - dog collar match Idol and Piper quickly end up brawling outside the ring. Piper wraps the chain around Idol’s neck and locks on the sleeper hold. Idol fights his way out of the hold. Piper busts Idol open with a chain wrapped fist. Piper hits a back suplex but Idol kicks out. Piper chokes Idol with the chain but Idol won’t submit. Piper uses the chain to smack Idol’s head into the ring post. Piper grabs Idol by the hair and Idol hits a low blow to turn things around. Idol smacks Piper into the ringpost with the chain. Piper and Idol battle back and forth, both men wearing the crimson mask. Piper catches Idol with a small package for a two count. Piper hangs Idol over the top rope. Idol turns purple and the referee pulls him back in. Piper locks on the sleeper but Idol is unresponsive and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner - Roddy Piper by referee stoppage
The referee manages to revive Idol. Piper gets on the mic and tells Backlund he’s coming for another shot some time soon.
Ventura and Solie sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week when Bob Backlund defends the gold against Mad Dog Vachon and Randy Savage takes on Sgt Slaughter.
