Sly Drury vs. Aethran Overmaster in finals.

Hello.  I have begun 2125 with championship tournaments.  Now I know from the cannon that Sly Drury is fearful of AOM and gives him the title of Co-commissioner to assauge this fear - to get on good terms with the Gladiators.  Unfortunately, Drury has to face AOM in the finals of my Galaxian Title Tournament.

I can see some outcomes:
1. Sly hands AOM the Galaxian Title as a peace offering and claims he can do it because he has the Power of Office.
2. Sly faces AOM with GWF security at ringside.
3. Sly refuses to face AOM and places another wrestler in his place, namely his right hand man Encubus.

Has this ever happened to any of you?  If so, how did you handle it?  If not, any ideas/thoughts/input would help.

IMO, Sly needs to go toe to toe with Overmaster and EARN his respect, as the Gladiators do not tolerate weakness or fear.

If Sly loses, maybe he puts up enough of fight to garner a bit of respect from Overmaster.

If Sly wins, he shows he is the man and is warranted respect. Plus, maybe he can give Overmaster something in consultation - to hopefully appease him.
