My oldest boy started downloaded his soon as he woke up. Plan to grab a copy for myself tonight.

What system? I haven’t been able to play since ps3. Used to love to play dynasties in NCAA then taking all my draft classes to Madden once it came out. Let me know how it plays.

2-3 w the Lions so far on the season. JWill & Hutch both having great seasons as is Swift. Need a QB in the draft and more D players.

I just watched a video on all the improvements and I think I’m a give it a chance this year. Played last years version on gamepass during the summer and had a blast. Last time bought maddewn the franchise mode was very barebones, especially compared to what life was like on PS2. Seems like franchise will be the best it has been in years. With Watson being suspended for the season at least I can get some enjoyment from having him on the team.

Finished 11-6 my first season (2nd place in my division) then made it all the way to the Super Bowl where I lost to the Bengals.
I play Just The Moments btw, not full games. Makes it more challenging.
Drafted MLB Noah Sewell & QB Spencer Rattler w my two first round picks (had to trade up for both).
Having a fun w it.

Noah could be a good guy for the Lions to actually pick up if he comes out which he probably will. Not so sure about Spencer. Glad you are enjoying the game.

I picked up Madden 23 and this is the first time I got a Madden when it was new. I usually get them used and a couple years behind as I am not a big gamer. I have only dove in a little bit and not too impressed.
1) The music is all hip-hop? I preferred when it had a nice mix of hip-hop, rock and country. What they should do is go the GTA way and have stations you can tune into for the different types. That way you can listen to just the one gene you like or, if you are like me, tune into whatever you feel in the mood for that day.
2) After all these years it still feels like the franchise mode is something they do not care about and EA just hands it to an intern to deal with. I hate, HATE how they keep changing the look of it every year. You get used to knowing where everything is and how to navigate and they change it up. Then most of the actual stuff is done without any real care. I mean I was setting the prices for food and I read the "tweets" on the side. It talked about people complaining about the price of cotton candy and chicken fingers and those were not even on the menu. It is great they put so much time into the game play as that is the main reason to get the game but they need to put more into the franchise. They always have and the few time they have it seems to be a few years later then it should have happened. Like being able to trade draft picks for more than just the coming year.
3) They need to do a better job of getting their player info right. I know it can be corrected if you go online. They will update things to be up to date but somethings should have been put in right from the get go. Like Hutchinson of the Lions being listed as a LB and Jameson Williams not being out due to injury yet. I understand Williams not being on the IR list as not sure if he would be and they had no idea when he would come back but it was known he would not be active to start the season. Also, I do not play online and with no internet currently at my place it cannot be updated. The option to place tags on guys for injuries would be a nice addition for those that do not go online for updates.
Hopefully as I play more I will get over these things and enjoy it a lot but right now it is iffy.
