This Is Now26.03.2006 Peabody’s Down Under Cleveland, OH
Jigsaw defeated Swoggle by DQ Fatigue: N/A Match Notes: Jigsaw was never in trouble on this match. However, the comedic shenanigans of Swoggle got him DQ’d when he was having too much fun with some cold spray and sprayed the referee in the face thus getting the DQ.
“Supercop” Dick Justice defeated Davey Vega via CountOut Fatigue: Vega 3 Match Notes: Vega and Justice out on a good match in the early going. However, it was not to last. A brawl on the outside saw Justice ram Vega into the ring steps. As Justice got back in the ring and had the referee’s attention, Sami Callihan made his presence known as he came from under the ring and proceeded to hit a piledriver on Vega and went back under the ring. The referee saw none of it, and made the count which Vega could not meet in time.
Backstage: To Infinity and Beyond & Homeless Handicapped Connection These two teams are backstage commenting on how great their match against each other was last show. As they continue, AIW President, Matt Wadsworth interrupts them to inform them that he was impressed by their match last show, and as a result he has booked them in another match against one another again later in the show. The catch however, is that this time the winners will face the AIW Tag Team Champions at the next show! Wadsworth wishes both teams well, and the atmosphere just got more tense as both teams understand the stakes in their upcoming match! Josh Alexander defeated Eric Ryan, & Bill Taylor via Twisting Tombstone Fatigue: Ryan 1: Taylor 3 Match Notes: Josh Alexander proved he is more than a tag team wrestler, as he picked up another impressive win by hitting his Twisting Tombstone on Eric Ryan to pick up the win as Taylor was out of position to break up the pin.
Interview: Johnny Gargano, Rich Swann, Chuck Taylor JG: “Well, well, well! Tonight is the night that I will finally show how great “The Whole Shebang” is when I put down “The Phenomenal One”, and two lackeys that don’t deserve to lave my boot straps!” CT: “Easy now Johnny, together we will show AIW who the real impact players are in this fed! We just have to take out the trash along the way!” RS: “And once that is done, only Ronin will be standing tall and we will party all night long before coming for the gold!”
Matt Cross defeated DJZ via DQ Fatigue: N/A Match Notes: Stokley Hathaway was curiously absent as two of his men faced off. The match started off friendly and then got competitive. In the end, DJZ got alittle too zealous and was DQ’d after posting Matt Cross after ignoring referee, Jake Clemons warnings.
#1 Contender’s Match for the AIW Tag Team Championship To Infinity and Beyond defeated Homeless Handicapped Connection via DQ Fatigue: Cheech 3: Hobo Joe 4: Gregory Iron 3 Match Notes: The mood was tense as both teams knew the stakes in this match. Early on, the Homeless Handicapped Connection were able to work over Cheech and it looked like it was going to be over. However, a hot tag to Delaney allowed To Infinity and Beyond to clean house. They took control and they had Hobo Joe in a bad way. After crushing Joe with a double team move, Iron entered the ring to save his partner. Unfortunately, coming off the top turnbuckle to break up the pin was not ok with referee, Xavier Franklin who called for the bell DQ’ing Homeless Handicapped Connection! The fans could not believe it, and neither could Gregory Iron who looked frustrated.
2 on 3 Handicap Match Neo-Solar Temple defeated Age of the Fall via Double Knee Backbreaker Fatigue: Ultramantis Black 2: Necro Butcher 7 Match Notes: The war between these two teams has escalated. Jimmy Jacobs used Ultramantis Black’s eagerness for a match against him and got him to agree to this match. Well, it backfired on the Age of the Fall! Neo-Solar Temple wore down Necro Butcher all through the match. Even though Jacobs and Tyler Black got involved in the match, the plan by Ultramantis Black and Hydra was executed to perfection. After a collision took out Jacobs and Tyler Black, Ultramantis Black capitalized and stunned Necro Butcher for the win! After the match, Jimmy Jacobs raged, as Ultramantis Black taunted him in his loss!
AIW Intense Championship Six Man Elimination Match Raymond Rowe defeated Josh Prohibition, Tim Donst, Sami Callihan, Rickey Shane Page, & Vin Gerard Fatigue: Prohibition 1: Rowe 7: Donst 3: Callihan 9: Page 4: Gerard 3 Match Notes: Since the Intense Championship is a no rules title, this match got intense quickly! Again, Josh Prohibition and Raymond Rowe continued their feud as they tried to maim the other! Though the match got so chaotic, they had to focus on everyone. The first one eliminated was Vin Gerard as he was out away by Josh Prohibition with Drunken Driver. Not looking to be outdone, Tim Donst was able to stun Rickey Shane Page with a german suplex and Page was eliminated! Donst then turned his focus on Prohibition and these two started to brawl. Prohibition got the upper hand and hit a Prohibitionplex on Donst to score the pin and eliminate him! At this point Donst snapped! He tackled Prohibition out of the ring and dropped him throat first on the barricade. As Prohibition was holding his throat, Donst proceeded to blast Prohibition with repeated chair shots! Donst continued until security came out and restrained Donst and dragged him to the back. Josh was deemed not able to continue and was stretchered to the back! (Josh Prohibition injured for 3 shows). This left Raymond Rowe and Sami Callihan left. At this point, the match became a slugfest with neither man wanting to give ground. Callihan was able to stun Rowe with a Forearm to Remember and locked him in the Stretch Muffler! Rowe was fighting but could not escape. As it looked like Callihan was going to win, Davey Vega’s music hit and he came out onto the stage! Sami Callihan was totally distracted by Vega and released the hold to trash talk at Vega. Vega just smiled and pointed behind Callihan. Rowe had recovered, and when Callihan turned around Rowe hit an overhead suplex and pinned Callihan! Raymond Rowe is the inaugural AIW Intense Champion! Sami Callihan is pissed, and chases Davey Vega to the back!
Backstage Video Footage The cameras are backstage and they come upon the scene of the medical team checking on Eddie Kingston who is unconscious on the ground with a severely dented trash can and lid next to him. The medical team spring into action, as it is clear someone has assaulted Kingston. But who would do such a thing?
EC3 w/Stokley Hathaway defeated Steve Corino via One Percenter Fatigue: N/A Match Notes: EC3 attacks Corino at the bell and he never let up. All through the match, EC3 is heard yelling that Corino is past his time and has no place here in AIW. A One Percenter later and EC3 pocks ho the win. As he leaves the ring, EC3 spits on Steve Corino who is infuriated by his actions!
AIW Tag Team Championship Kings of Wrestling* defeated Kung-Fu Manchu via Rolling Elbow Fatigue: Lyndon 1 Match Notes: The Kings of Wrestling did what they did last time when faced Kung-Fu Manchu, and that is take them apart. Chris Hero smashes Lyndon with a Rolling Elbow and this one was over. A dominating defense for the AIW Tag Team Champions.
Six Man Tag Team Cleveland Street Fight Ronin defeated “The Phenomenal One” AJ Styles, “One Man Militia” Matthew Justice, & Eddie Kingston via Hurts Donut Fatigue: Styles 2: Swann 1 Match Notes: This match was a sham and a travesty! Eddie Kingston was not cleared by the medical team to compete, and as Styles was waiting for Matthew Justice to arrive the cameras went backstage and showed that Matthew Justice was locked and barricaded in his locker room unable to get out! Ronin then jumped on Styles and 3 on 1 match commenced. Styles to his credit pit up a fight, and was able to put Rich Swann through a table that Chuck Taylor had set up. However, the team work between Chuck Taylor and Johnny Gargano was too much for Styles to overcome. Chuck Taylor hit an Awful Waffle on styles on a pile of chairs, and then allowed Johnny Gargano to hit a Hurts Donut on Styles who was out on his feet. The pin was academic for Gargano who scored the win and pinned the AIW Absolute Champion! The fans booed at Johnny Gargano as a recovered Rich Swann and Chuck Taylor celebrate on the ring, proud of themselves, as the show comes to its end!

You know you've got me thinking here... Is the obvious answer also the correct one? Or something more sinister at play here? Really enjoyed the six-pack match which saw Rowe emerge as your inaugural AIW Intense Champion... And the sketchy finish sets the stage for an inevitable encounter between him and Sami Callihan... Very slick! The Kings are still tearing through the opposition and I wonder if any team on the current roster has what it takes to present a serious challenge for those tag belts... The main event delivered in a big way, despite the fact that AJ was forced to fight Ronin alone... Gargano is gonna find out the hard way that defeating the Phenomenal One for the title will not be anywhere near as easy as scoring the fall after a three-on-one beatdown... Exceptional show!

It is easy to always jump to the most convenient answer, but is that answer the actual truth? Only time will tell! That six pack match was more than I could have hoped for, as it has provided the most potential storylines coming out of a match yet. As of right now, the Kings should dominate the tag team scene, as they are still the only undefeated tag team in AIW at this point. The story between AJ Styles and Johnny Gargano seems to want to go on forever, which is not a bad thing! Thanks for tuning in as always my friend!

Absolute Update From the desk of AIW President, Matt Wadsworth
“Hello AIW fans! No other word but Intense can describe the action currently going on in Absolute Intense Wrestling! The newly crowned AIW Tag Team champions, Kings of Wrestling were boasting that they are the best tag team in AIW, and no other team can hold a candle to them! Well, the other tag teams took offense to their comments, and demanded a match against the champs. So, on the next show, Kings of Wrestling will be defending their AIW Tag Team Championships in a four way scramble match against Kung Fu Manchu, Homeless Handicapped Connection, and To Infinity and Beyond!”
”After the controversial win over AIW Absolute Champion, “The Phenomenal One” AJ Styles, “The Whole Shebang” Johnny Gargano will get another chance at the AIW Absolute Championship against AJ Styles. Also, Johnny Gargano’s fellow Ronin members, will be taking on the team of “The Mad King” Eddie Kingston and “One Man Militia” in a Tag Team Tables Elimination Match! I wish the best of luck to the competitors in their upcoming matches!”
”You will not want to miss any of this action, so join us on April 30th, at Peabody’s Down Under in Cleveland, Ohio! You do not want to miss The Most Intense Wrestling In The United States!”

Hmmmmm... Who attacked Kingston? Who trapped Justice in his own locker room? All to leave Styles on his own to face the entire Ronin trio.... I've got my suspicions... 🤔

Set It Off30.04.2006 Peabody’s Down Under Cleveland, OH
DJZ w/Stokely Hathaway defeated Bill Taylor via ZDT Fatigue: DJZ 5 Match Notes: Stokely Hathaway looked impressed by Taylor as he whipped DJZ all over the ring. In the end, Taylor mad the mistake of climbing the turnbuckle. DJZ was able to throw Taylor off the turnbuckle and followed up with the ZDT to score the win. After the match, Stokely Hathaway slyly slipped another business card to Taylor and nodded to him in approval.
Age of the Fall defeated Neo-Solar Temple via God’s Last Gift Fatigue: Tyler Black 1: Hydra 1: Ultramantis Black 2 Match Notes: These two teams that hate one another finally gave the fans a great match. Both teams scored some breath taking near falls, as the match wore on. Eventually, Tyler Black was able to hit God’s Last Gift on Ultramantis Black to pick up the win!
Necro Butcher defeated “Supercop” Dick Justice via Choose Death Fatigue: Necro Butcher 2: Dick Justice 5 Match Notes: The Supercop took it to the hardcore bruiser on this one. Most fans thought Justice was going to be steamroll by Butcher, but he shocked them! Justice showed he was not a pushover but sadly it was not enough. The fans got behind Justice after all the underhanded tactics that Necro Butcher was using. In the end, a Choose Death was too much for the Supercop and he was finished. The fans cheered for Justice as he left the ring. Has a new fan favorite emerged in AIW?
AIW Tag Team Championship Four Way Scramble Match Kung Fu Manchu defeated Kings of Wrestling*, Homeless Handicapped Connection, & To Infinity and Beyond via Dragon Sleeper Fatigue: Fontaine 1: Hobo 1: Cheech 1: Delaney 3: Hero 1: Castagnoli 2 Match Notes: Every team was focus on beating the Kings of Wrestling. As much as that was their focus, the match quickly turned into the free for all as the lure of the Championship was greater than just embarrassing the Kings. The Kings of Wrestling hit the KRS TWO on Delaney and every team rushed in and a brawl erupted! Referee, Tom Dunn, did his best to regain control, and it ended up with Louis Lyndon locking in his Dragon Sleeper on Delaney! Delaney was worn out and he tapped out! Kung Fu Manchu are awarded the AIW Tag Team Championships, even if it was not known if they were legal or not. The Kings of Wrestling were pissed and made it clear this was not over!
Sami Callihan defeated Josh Alexander via DQ Fatigue: Josh Alexander 3 Match Notes: Callihan frustrated Alexander with his cheating ways that he was able to use to great effect. Alexander lost his temper and was DQ’d for slamming Callihan onto the announcer’s table. After the bell, Davey Vega appeared out of nowhere and attacked Callihan. Alexander looked conflicted, and then joined in that assault on Callihan! They double teamed Callihan and put him through the announcer’s table! (Callihan injured 2 shows). AIW President, Matt Wadsworth came out and told Alexander and Vega that he has had enough of the bullsh!t and as a result they will be suspended! (Alexander and Vega suspended for 4 shows)
Interview with Chad Olson: Kung Fu Manchu Chad Olson is interviewing the new AIW Tag Team Champions, Kung Fu Manchu, when the Kings of Wrestling attack the champs! But, before any lasting damage could be done, To Infinity and Beyond came on the scene and attacked the Kings! Security rushed the scene to break the teams apart. AIW President, Matt Wadsworth made another appearance and told each team that since they cannot wait to fight again, that on the next show the AIW Tag Team Champions, Kung Fu Manchu will defend their titles against Kings of Wrestling and To Infinity and Beyond in a three way elimination match! He then ordered security to get these teams out of the building!
AIW Intense Championship Three Way Scramble Match Raymond Rowe* w/Stokley Hathaway defeated Steve Corino and EC3 via Death Rowe Fatigue: Rowe 5: Corino 6: EC3 5 Match Notes: These men left it all on the ring in this match. Each man was more than willing to use the no rules advantage that this title allows. Late into the match, EC3 had Steve Corino dead to writes, and Stokely Hathaway had the referee distracted. EC3 started to yell at Hathaway, which Rowe used to dump EC3 out of the ring, and finish off Corino himself for the win, and to retain the AIW Intense Championship! EC3 has some heated words with Hathaway! Is there some dissension forming in the Dudes on TV faction?
Tag Team Tables Elimination Match Eddie Kingston & “One Man Militia” Matthew Justice defeated Ronin via Table Elimination Fatigue: Kingston 6: Justice 3: Swann 9: Taylor 3 Match Notes: Eddie Kingston and Matthew Justice wanted some payback against Ronin for their actions on the last show. Rich Swann and Chuck Taylor showed that they are serious and not to be taken lightly! After some back and forth, Eddie Kingston was able to put Chuck Taylor through a table that was set up in the corner. Rich Swann was then out numbered and fought for his life. Swann got so close to eliminate Justice, but Kingston was able to prevent the elimination. Kingston then set up Swann and eliminated him with a half nelson suplex through the table to give his team the win! Kingston and Justice got their payback but who was the one that attacked Kingston?
Matt Cross w/Stokely Hathaway defeated Tim Donst via Double Stomp Fatigue: Cross 2: Donst 2 Match Notes: Tim Donst is still on his mission to make his name synonymous with AIW. He took it to Matt Cross, but M-Dogg 20 with the help of Stokely Hathaway was too much for Donst. Cross positioned Donst and hit a double stomp to pick up the win. After the match, Donst again snapped and attacked Cross! He did a replay of the attack on Josh Prohibition, by dropping Cross throat first across the barricade and followed it up with repeated chair shots until security forced him away! (Matt Cross injured for 2 shows)
Rickey Shane Page defeated Vin Gerard via Turnbuckle Roll Up Fatigue: Gerard 2 Match Notes: Rickey Shane Page showed that Gerard has only been lucky and was no match for the babyfaced assassin. In short order, Page outsmarted Gerard and scored an easy and embarrassing win!
AIW Absolute Championship “The Whole Shebang” Johnny Gargano defeated “The Phenomenal One” AJ Styles* via DQ Fatigue: Styles 3 Match Notes: Johnny Gargano had Styles off balance in the early going. However, as usual for “The Phenomenal One” he turned things around and had Gargano reeling. Styles rocked Gargano, and positioned him on the replaced announcer’s table. Referee, Tom Dunn warned Styles, but Styles ignored his warning and put Gargano through the table with a flying elbow drop! The fans were ecstatic, but the referee called for the bell DQ’ing AJ Styles. Johnny Gargano won the match, but because of the DQ Styles keeps the title! After the match, a hooded individual appeared and attacked Styles with a trash can lid! After the lid is dented beyond use, the individual lift Styles up and hits a powerbomb into a double knee backbreaker! Gargano has recovered and puts Styles in the Gargano Escape and refused to let go! Gargano finally lets Styles go once he is unconscious! Gargano then faces the hooded individual and they shockingly embrace! The individual takes off his hood and it is Tommaso Ciampa! Johnny Gargano’s former DIY tag team partner! Gargano And Ciampa, holding up the trash can lid, stand tall and celebrate with the title, as the show comes to its end!
