Were you a big fan of Colby? Not specifically... But, I'm a fan of the 'spoiled rich man' archetype... The kind of character that thinks he can buy anyone/anything and cannot understand it when his money is unable to solve any problem. HOWEVER... I'm trying to keep him out of the spotlight (at least for the timebeing) because I AM NOT a fan of the far too often used 'heel authority figure' and since he's the man in charge right now, I don't want him to get tangled up in any conflicts of interest... Going to emphasize that this is just for the timebeing... I enjoy the chart on his 2130 card too much not to use it somewhere down the line. Do you have any opinions/concerns regarding Mr Colby and how he is handling the business aspects of running this company? Would love to hear your thoughts, bro... Always makes for some great discussion! |

I think your playing Colby correctly, he is trying to gather the talent to build his empire. So it's spot on... I have noticed that you like the Future Shock era as will as the 2119 era. If I'm being 100% honest, what I truly enjoy are manageable rosters. HA! There are lots of exceptional characters all across the different COTG brands and encompassing all of the eras... I just find that bloated rosters (from which the GWF suffered during a certain timeframe) really hampered the storytelling... Having so many characters made it hard to get invested. NOW... I will step off that particular soapbox... What I'm trying to say is that I don't necessarily favor one 'era' over another... I prefer to cherrypick from all the talent that's available... And conversations like these bring out the best thoughts that I have towards this game... And this community... Thanks, brotha! Oh so your more like me... what toys can I bring into my sandbox today? If I'm being 100% honest, what I truly enjoy are manageable rosters. HA! There are lots of exceptional characters all across the different COTG brands and encompassing all of the eras... I just find that bloated rosters (from which the GWF suffered during a certain timeframe) really hampered the storytelling... Having so many characters made it hard to get invested. NOW... I will step off that particular soapbox... What I'm trying to say is that I don't necessarily favor one 'era' over another... I prefer to cherrypick from all the talent that's available...
