FSW STEP UP (Day One) 2101.05.05 Matrix Palace orbiting Ganymede, Jupiter
Commentary: Johnny Rocket & Doomsayer
PART ONE
BISHOP HELL def. Vyper. ** - Bishop pinned Vyper after a HELLFIRE. -- Tokens: Vyper 2 - Bishop employed a variety of underhanded tactics, narrowly avoiding disqualification in the process.
JUPITER def. Iron Mane. *1/2 - Jupiter pinned Mane after a CHAMPION SUPER DROP. -- Tokens: Mane 2 - With a perfect blend of strength and skill, Jupiter overpowered his AniMan opponent.
Johnny Rocket conducted a backstage interview with Battering Ram, who displayed remorse for the injury suffered by Incredible Badger and expressed a desire for reconciliation with his former AniMen allies. Iron Mane arrived and indicated that he was willing to let the past remain in the past as he offered to shake hands with Ram as a sign of good faith. Ram responded by grabbing Mane and slamming him through a table! As Mane staggered to his feet, Ram put him back down with a series of vicious head butts. With a scowl, Ram made it clear that he had no real interest in a reunion. <Iron Mane injured for 6 cards.>
THUNDER def. Lance At-Las via count-out. *** - At-Las was counted out after Thunder hit a Gladiator Piledriver on the concrete floor. -- Tokens: Thunder 1 - At-Las 5 - Busted wide open following a vicious assault on the floor, At-Las struggled to continue. Another crippling blow left him barely able to stand.
ORRUS def. Splatter. squash - Orrus pinned Splatter after an UNSTOPPABLE SLAM. -- Tokens: Splatter 1 - Making a bold statement, Orrus ended this contest in near record time!
ADAM BLAST, JUSTICE, QUASAR & TITAN POWER (Lord Nexus & Billy Jo Boxer) def. Mercenaries (Calamity, Galactic Punisher & Tongsoon) & Executioners (Death Masque & Whiplash) via DQ. dud - Tongsoon was disqualified <snake eyes, pin save> when Punisher smashed Quasar with a steel chair to break up a near fall. -- Tokens: Tongsoon 1 - Things spiraled out of control before the opening bell as both teams started trading blows out on the floor. Punisher & Tongsoon brought the fight into the ring by nailing Quasar with a double team combination. <Tongsoon started on Level 2 Offense.> - Even though he tried to offer some leniency, the referee's patience was quickly stretched beyond its snapping point. - Punisher & Tongsoon continued to assault Quasar after the bell. As order was slowly restored, Quasar challenged Punisher to a one-on-one encounter on the next card. Punisher accepted!
INTERMISSION - Stay tuned for Part Two!

FSW STEP UP (Day One) 2101.05.05 Matrix Palace orbiting Ganymede, Jupiter
Commentary: Johnny Rocket & Doomsayer
PART TWO
COSMIC FORCES (Matter & Antimatter) def. Rack & Ruin. * - Antimatter pinned Ruin after a NEGATIVE CHARGE. -- Tokens: Ruin 2 - Rack & Ruin failed to give their seasoned opponents the proper amount of respect and it resulted in a disappointing in-ring debut for the newcomers. Seamless teamwork made it possible for the Cosmic Forces to effectivley isolate Ruin while preventing his partner from tagging into the match.
Johnny Rocket conducted a backstage interview with the Greek Gods, who had just finished watching Rack & Ruin lose to the Cosmic Forces. They were clearly impressed by the performance of the Cosmic Forces, stating that Rack & Ruin were foolish to underestimate the pair. Without warning, Cupid & Jupiter viciously attacked the Greeks! Tossing Proteus aside, they smashed Actagon with tandem chairshots until several individuals arrived to push them away. Proteus crawled towards his partner as Lance At-Las and Lord Nexus directed traffic to ensure that no further harm was done. <Actagon injured for 6 cards.>
OMEGA def. Bishop Hell. *1/2 - Omega pinned Bishop after a TOMAHAWK THRUST. -- Tokens: Bishop 1 - Bishop stormed the ring and jumped Omega before the opening bell! <Bishop started on Level 2 Offense.> - It did not take long for Omega to realize that he needed to fight fire with fire! A desperation low blow that went unseen by the referee allowed him to gain the upper hand.
HOLOCAUST def. Jupiter. **1/2 - Holocaust pinned Jupiter after a SHOCKWAVE (+5). -- Tokens: Holocaust 2 - Jupiter missed a suicide dive and Holocaust snapped his throat across the rails, leading to an explosive comeback.
THUNDER def. Mister Centra. *1/2 - Thunder pinned Centra after an Aethran Powerbomb. -- Tokens: Centra 1 - Blocking a whip into the turnbuckles, Thunder dropped his rival into a flawless pinning combination for a flash finish.
Rhea arrived to join the commentary team for the upcoming main event. She made reference to the technical decision that she was awarded when she faced Raven at FSW CROWNING GLORY. Even though it did not result in her becoming the inaugural FSW Universal Heavyweight Champion, she remained confident that she would win the prize at FSW ASCENSION no matter who wound up being her opponent.
ORRUS def. Raven via DQ. ** - Raven was disqualified <outside interference> when Mandrill pulled the referee out of the ring to break up a near fall. -- Tokens: Raven 2 - This was an emotionally charged conflict between Orrus and the man that had recently tried to recruit him into the Savage Kingdom. Frustrated that he was unable to knock Orrus off his feet, Raven called for help from his allies. Mandrill's intereference left the referee in a disoriented state, but Rhea marched towards ringside and informed him of what had occurred. The referee called for the bell as Raven and Rhea engaged in a staredown.
Post-show media conference... Coming up soon!

Keep those dice dizzy. Go Thunder. Even though he lost to Mister Centra (via DQ) in his debut, I figured Thunder still has the pedigree to be included in the tournament... And back-to-back victories over At-Las and Mister Centra proves that he belongs in the running... Right now, I'm picking Orrus the Unstoppable as the dark horse to take it all the way... I'm hoping to play and post the next card during the next few days, but we'll see how things go... Always happy to see your face in the crowd, my friend... Many thanks for staying tuned!

Rocking and rolling brother Pariah! I too am pulling for Orrus The Unstoppable to pull out the tournament victory. If Orrus takes the tournament, then I think he will UNSTOPPABLE SLAM his way over Rhea in the big bout. In retrospect, I think it was really cool that the initial championship match ended via a technical decision. Really throws everything for a loop and eeks out a mess of drama and intrigue. Definitely keeping that in mind booking perspective wise. Me likey. Also didn't realize Fhanna was technically (or possibly?) Magnus Colby's daughter. That's interesting. Really digging seeing the card art of the roster. Always looking forward to more amigo!

Really digging seeing the card art of the roster. Always looking forward to more amigo! At first, I was somewhat annoyed with Raven getting disqualified... It can really suck the wind out of crowning an inaugural champ... But, like I've said many times... When life gives you lemons... You take those lemons and smash them directly in life's face! Which brings us to this point... Omega back in the running and Raven is out... Add to that the embarrassment of Orrus refusing to join the Savage Kingdom and I think Raven is not happy... Not at all. As far as I know, there's never been any hint or allusion to Fhanna being Magnus Colby's daughter in the canon timeline... I just thought it would be cool. The input of the M.O.B. is always a pleasure to read, my friend... Many thanks!
