FSW STEP UP (Day Two)
2101.05.06 Matrix Palace orbiting Ganymede, Jupiter
Commentary: Johnny Rocket & Doomsayer
PART ONE
Mister Centra was flanked by Rack & Ruin as he stepped into the ring, demanding that everyone show him the proper amount of respect. His first order of business was to deny the allegations that Rack & Ruin were responsible for attacking Spike before the Falls Count Anywhere match at FSW RAISE THE STAKES. As far as Mister Centra was concerned, Spike should accept the full blame for being unable to save his own career. Ignoring the negative response from the crowd, Centra added that Rack & Ruin were going to destroy the Cosmic Forces following their lucky win on the previous card. Centra declared that going forward, Desolation Factor was a three-man group that would take no prisoners!
ADAM BLAST & JUSTICE def. Executioners (Death Masque & Whiplash). ***
- Justice pinned Masque after a SHOCK PROBATION (+2) -- Tokens: Blast 2, Justice 2 - Masque 2, Whiplash 2
- Despite their cheap tactics, the Executioners were unable to halt the energetic offense of Blast & Justice in this seesaw battle.
BATTERING RAM def. Zealos via DQ. dud
- Zealos was disqualified <out of the ring> when he put his hands on the referee. -- Tokens: n/a
- Taking a clever approach, Ram baited Zealos into losing his temper. Ram seemed quite pleased with the technical decision, motioning that he had used his head in a different manner than usual.
VYPER def. Calamity. *1/2
- Vyper tapped out Calamity with an ANACONDA VICE. -- Tokens: Calamity 2
HOLOCAUST def. Omega. **1/2
- Holocaust pinned Omega after a kick to the temple. -- Tokens: Omega 3
- Enduring a serious amount of punishment, the competitor formerly known as Alpha Force drew upon the support of the fans as he continued to fight. He even managed to kick out after being hit by a SHOCKWAVE (+5). Unfortunately, his defensive strategy was not enough as Holocaust landed a barrage of high impact blows to advance to the tournament final.
THUNDER def. Orrus. ***
- Thunder pinned Orrus after THE TEMPEST. -- Tokens: Thunder 3 - Orrus 1
- Orrus dictated the pace for the majority of this contest, but Thunder mounted a thrilling comeback. The crowd roared its approval as Thunder earned his place in the tournament final where he will meet Holocaust to decide who will square off against Rhea at FSW ASCENSION for the honor of becoming the inaugural FSW Universal Heavyweight Champion!

That match against Orrus the Unstoppable was a lot of fun... Really looked like it was gonna be Holocaust (who really ripped Omega apart, once he got going) and Orrus in the final... Can't wait to see who will face off against Rhea for the title, my friend... Part two will be posted tonight! |

FSW STEP UP (Day Two)
2101.05.06 Matrix Palace orbiting Ganymede, Jupiter

PART TWO
GALACTIC PUNISHER (w/ Tongsoon) def. Quasar. ***1/2
- Punisher pinned Quasar after a Mercenary Mauler. -- Tokens: Punisher 1 - Quasar 9
- Despite a valiant effort, it quickly became apparent that Quasar was at a severe disadvantage with Tongsoon lurking at ringside. Adam Blast arrived in order to level the playing field, but his presence only became an additional distraction. While the referee was trying to maintain order, Punisher used a metal baton to bust Quasar wide open! Blood loss gradually robbed the Titan of his mobility and Punisher capitalized on the situation.
COSMIC FORCES (Matter & Antimatter) def. Desolation Factor (Rack & Ruin w/ Mister Centra) via DQ. *1/2
- Rack was disqualified <outside interference> when Mister Centra blatantly attacked Antimatter to break up a near fall. -- Tokens: Rack 5
- For the second time in a row, Rack & Ruin were incapable of countering the fluid teamwork of the Cosmic Forces. Refusing to settle for a clean finish, Mister Centra got involved.
O3 (Jupiter, Cupid & Honos) def. Lance At-Las & TitanPower (Lord Nexus & Billy Jo Boxer). **1/2
- Cupid pinned Nexus after a top rope heart punch. -- Tokens: Cupid 2 - Nexus 3
- This was an emotionally charged conflict as At-Las & TitanPower attempted to avenge the injury that O3 inflicted on Actagon during the previous card. Both teams delivered hard hitting performances, but the Offspring of the Overman prevailed.
Raven joined the commentary team for the upcoming match, stating that he wanted to keep a close eye on Rhea to ensure that she did not employ any cheap tactics while competing against a member of his Savage Kingdom.
RHEA def. Mandrill. ****1/2
- Rhea pinned Mandrill after a SERPENT'S CATAPULT. -- Tokens: Rhea 6 - Mandrill 2
- It did not take long for Raven to become a factor as he taunted Rhea from the commentary booth. Rhea made the mistake of engaging Raven in a verbal exchange which allowed Mandrill to gain the upper hand. He used his Voltaic Stunner with deadly efficiency and then took the fight out to the floor, running Rhea into the rails and corner posts, Rhea was bleeding heavily, but she would not surrender to her exhaustion and mounted a miraculous comeback. The instant Raven made a move towards the ring, Omega charged from the backstage area to chop his rival down!
In a surprising development, Commissioner Guile announced that Spike was going to serve as a special guest ringside enforcer for the main event. Spike declared that Holocaust and Thunder would be given the chance to face each other on even footing without being concerned about potential outside interference.
THUNDER def. Holocaust. ***
- Thunder pinned Holocaust after THE TEMPEST. -- Tokens: Thunder 1 - Holocaust 4
- Using evasive maneuvers, Thunder forced his powerful opponent into spending valuable energy with an aggressive approach. As soon as Holocaust showed signs of slowing down, Thunder seized his moment and unloaded with an high impact assault. The crowd was delighted with the outcome and as a result, Thunder will face Rhea at FSW ASCENSION in a no disqualification, no count-out, one fall to a finish match with the FSW Universal Heavyweight Championship as the prize!

Fhanna and Commissioner Guile addressed those in attendance.
Key points:
-- FSW ASCENSION will take place on 2101.05.27 at the Matrix Palace and the main event has been decided!
Rhea vs. Thunder
for the FSW Universal Heavyweight Championship
There must be a winner! The contest will be no disqualification, no count-out, one fall to a finish!
Rhea and Thunder approached from opposite sides of the stage, prepared to sign the official contract for their upcoming match. The process was interrupted by the arrival of the Savage Kingdom - Raven, Mandrill & Sectarian. Even though they would soon be opposing each other for the biggest prize this new company had to offer, Rhea and Thunder looked ready to fight together against this shared threat. Waving them off, Raven proclaimed that his group was not there for a fight.
Raven: "I'm only here to voice my intentions where there are plenty of witnesses. Everyone knows that I earned a seat at that table and I don't plan to wait for leftovers. If Magnus Colby tries to deny me... Well, my Savage Kingdom simply won't be denied. This is the only warning to anyone that gets in our way... You will ALL... FALL... DOWN!"
There was no assault as Raven led his pair of followers away. Commissioner Guile presented a document for Rhea and Thunder to provide their signatures. As soon as they finished, Fhanna reached into a protective case and withdrew the prize for everyone to behold. It was a freshly forged title belt!
Fhanna: "Take a good look because this is the reason you both fought so hard to reach this point. When FSW ASCENSION is over, someone will be the inaugural FSW Universal Heavyweight Champion!"
