I’ll admit this has its hooks into me right now! I’ve been playing it since launch and it’s such an interesting game on many levels. It’s F2P but not necessarily pay to win. The decks you play against are based on the cards you have. So it’s really new player friendly. I suggest anyone interested give it a try.

This game has taken over my mobile gaming. Card game with strategy. There are series 1 cards you will still use heading into infinite rank. I spend the $9.99 per month for the season pass just as a sort of gratitude, but you definitely don't need to do so to win. Has it's frustrations but it's still early and they are working it out. May be able to get to infinite in the next week, but we will see. The only thing I seem to be able to climb consistently with is an Infinaut deck with Armor blocking for Sunspot, Storm trashing the bad locations, and Nightcrawler and Vision as my aces in the hole to move to the spots where I need them (gotta use Psylocke to cheat out Vision on turn 4 in most cases for that to work, unless Jubilee pulls Infinaut early, then it's a free for all).

It has definitely taken over my mobile gaming as well. I’m not a big mobile gamer but I think I found my thing! Even though I can’t get past level 65! My main issue is I don’t retreat enough.

My main issue is I don’t retreat enough. ......... Learning to retreat is essential! SO many times I'll hold out and see what happens thinking "well, maybe if the opponent doesn't play the left side..." and damned if they don't throw a card on that left side and cost me cubes. Usually if they snap heading into turn six and I'm not absolutely convinced I'll just dip out. Been bouncing around the upper 80s for three days now, so that climb to the top is slow going. Of course, if I could get any actual cards out of my collector caches instead of boosters in series 3, I'd be a lot better off. Getting tired of losing to cards I can't get.

The update is supposed to fix the booster issue in collector’s caches but I feel your pain. All my losses are to cards I dont have. Death gets me every time. Wong as well

Certainly, there are no more boosters in those caches. First one after the update I got...100 credits. But the token shop is cool, so it's good. Those discard decks wit Morbius and Dracula mess me up a lot. They can stack power before you know what's happening and you have no idea what Drac will end up with for power until the game ends, so there's no way to plan for his lane.

I've been a bit afraid to try this for fear I would get hooked. I had played Marvel Strike Force for years and finally quit earlier this year due to it just taking up too much time every day. The only mobile game I play now is called Baseball 9, which is a pretty solid mobile baseball game.

yeah, it sounds fun but I'd be afraid I'd get competitive. Bad habit I have with these kinds of games.

Good intuition, gentlemen. It can really drag you in. But it helps me do 40 minutes to an hour on the treadmill, so that's a bonus.
