It seems like the MJF spot was intended to write off Regal from AEW.
I have also read that FTR planned to work the indy world for awhile. Who knows. They both really like HHH.

We all knew who the delightful little biscotti he wanted to dip in his morning coffee was, sorry Excalibur  A lot of these flips probably shouldn’t be surprising considering the weird relationship Vince’s WWE had with HHH’s NXT vs the new MO for HHH WWE . Draw too little/too much heat with the office somewhere, work somewhere else til that office wants you back. |

I am kind of surprised he is going back but good for him. He had run the course with VBD and seemed nowhere to go right now with them. I just hope he is getting paid good AND that WWE finds a good way to use him. He is multi-talented.

TK confirmed today that Regal is expected back in wwe however apparently he cannot appear on TV and its more of a backstage/coaching role.
This is to do with his AEW contract I believe

From what I've read, that's more what Regal wants to do at this point anyways.
