A whole bunch of awesome goin' on here brother Pariah! Couldn't enjoy this format you're operating under any more than I already am. Keeps it fresh for all of us. As far as just keeping up with me in creating new feds, I definitely resemble that remark. That battle royal you ran was THE battle royal imo. Once Andre sees the film of the assist by Vader against him, he's gonna be upset methinks. Thesz vs Savage inside a cage! I'm there! And for the record, Lou Thesz doesn't cheat, (as far as we know lol), but he could use a lady in his "outside the cage" corner, just in case. Either way - go Lou Thesz! BOO-YA!

There's nothing quite like a little LOW freestylin', my brotha... In time, I'm sure I'll start up another more traditional fed... But, right now, THIS is where I gotta be. Many thanks for staying tuned!

American Showdown Wrestling #11 SANDMAN vs. PIPER
PAT PATTERSON (w/ Bobby Heenan) def. Jerry Brisco after a BOMBS AWAY. -- Tokens: n/a -- Caught in the heat of the moment, Brisco tried to take out his rival with a big move and missed the mark. Patterson capitalized on the situation and picked up a virtually unopposed victory. -- Gordon Solie conducted a post-match interview with Jerry Brisco. Before he had a chance to speak, he was ambushed by the Blond Bombers! They double teamed Brisco until Thunderbolt Patterson arrived with a steel chair to chase them off. <Brisco injured for 4 cards.>
-- Backstage Breaking News -- Bull Curry was involved in an unprovoked altercation with a company official and had to be removed from the building. Commissioner Teddy Long reminded the crowd that the card is subject to change, adding that Konnan's opponent for the upcoming match would be Vampiro instead!
KONNAN def. Vampiro via pinfall <deathjump counter> after a sunset flip powerbomb. -- Tokens: Konnan 4 - Vampiro 2 -- The natural animosity between these two competitors resulted in the action spilling out to the floor several times. Vampiro received multipe warnings about his conduct and wasted precious time arguing with the referee. This allowed Konnan to execute a desperation move for a flash finish.
RAY STEVENS (w/ Bobby Heenan) def. Thunderbolt Patterson via pinfall after a CRIPPLING PILEDRIVER. -- Tokens: Stevens 2 - Thunderbolt 3 -- This was an emotionally charged conflict as Thunderbolt was looking to get some payback against one of the men responsible for injuring Jerry Brisco earlier on the card.
VALIANT BROTHERS (Johnny & Jimmy Valiant) def. Brickhouse Brown & Sam Houston via pinfall when Johnny pinned Houston after teaming with Jimmy for a SUPER ELBOW. -- Tokens: JohnnyV 1 - Houston 1 -- The Valiants stormed the ring before Gary Michael Cappetta was able to complete the introductions, smashing their opponents with steel chairs and then tossing Brown out to the floor. <Houston added 1 token and Johnny started on Level 3 Offense.> -- Both teams were eager for this highly anticipated rubber match. Despite a noble effort, Brown & Houston were unable to get completely on track following the assault that occurred before the opening bell.
British Bulldogs (Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid) vs. Powers Of Pain (Warlord & Barbarian) resulted in a draw via double DQ <pin save> during a brawl. -- Tokens: Warlord 2 -- The long standing rivalry between these two teams reached a fever pitch. It looked like the Bulldogs were going to score an important victory, but Barbarian made the save with a driving boot into Kid's face. Things rapidly spiraled out of control and the referee had to call for the bell. -- Gordon Solie conducted a post-match interview with the British Bulldogs. They wanted to end this feud in a decisive manner and challenged the Powers Of Pain to a No Holds Barred match on the next card. The Powers Of Pain accepted the challenge!
RODDY PIPER def. Sandman in a Hardcore Deathmatch. Piper tapped out Sandman with a SLEEPER while using a belt to choke him out. -- Tokens: Sandman 1 -- Refusing to wait until Gary Michael Cappetta had completed the introductions, Sandman and Piper started trading blows in the middle of the ring! Piper dodged a swing of Sandman's Singapore cane and countered with a series of rapid fire punches as the referee called for the match to begin. <Piper started on Level 2 Offense.> -- Sandman landed some extreme offense, but Piper's relentless ferocity was too much to overcome.

Vampiro flops. Nice wins by the Valiants and Piper. The Valiants break the rubber and earn a title shot... Hot Rod made some noise (as expected) and probably won't be seen again until I roll 12 on the pre-show chart again for another Piper's Pit segment. Of course, I wasn't happy with my Vampire brother's loss... But, that feud won't be leaving the Showdown anytime soon. Thank you for taking the time to share a few thoughts, my friend... Always appreciated!
