So, here's the story... This is another attempt to run a fed, using whatever cards I want to use whenever I want to use them... Very similar to how TTX runs his assortment of promotions (which I think are absolutely brilliant, btw)... I did not want to run lengthy competitions to crown initial champions that I may not even be satisfied with, so I'm just going to put the titles on wrestlers that have been very successful for me.

The premise is that I will run cards that feature an assortment of matches that could be taking place anywhere in the world at any given time. There will be a "live" element to each show that could result in rolling on one of the specialty cards (i.e. Teddy Long, Lance Russell, Morgan Dollar, you get the idea). For this, I will be rolling on a modified version of the TV Studio chart that was created by Gunslinger . Anyone that wants to figure out a way to use all of those interviewer/referee/backstage personality/etc cards that we have, I highly recommend checking out that chart. Exceptional!

In most of my past projects, I have tried to incorporate a real world calendar. This time around, everything will be counted by card numbers and title defenses. I may regret this (in the future) because I tend to like tracking title reigns in 'days' as opposed to 'cards', but such is life. I'm also not going to bother dealing with venues, timekeeping, match star ratings or anything else that will slow down my actual gameplay. As always, the dice are the REAL bookers and they are in charge of everything that happens.

If you have any suggestions, feedback, dream encounters you think would be fun and/or interesting... Please post them! I do play ahead of what I post... So, it might take me a bit to get to anything that my friends and fellow promoters would like to see. In fact, I just finished playing card #4 and the dice (bookers) gave me the BEST BATTLE ROYAL that I've ever rolled... It was an absolute blast!

Not sure where my total fed count currently stands, but I remain pretty confident that Bri and I are still leading the pack in that department. HA! That's all I can think to say at the moment... Except that after watching Wrestle Kingdom 17, I desperately want updates for Will Ospreay and Jay White. Have to believe that at least Sam Fain would agree with this sentiment.

Certainly, my friend... Here they are for your perusing pleasure!

Prior to card, roll two dice and consult:

2: Card is subject to change! Due to a backstage incident, one of the scheduled matches will not take place. However, at least one of the original participants in the original match should be used in some manner. IT'S UP TO YOU, PROMOTER!

3: A heel that is not scheduled to appear throws a tantrum and Commissioner Teddy Long (from EP5) responds! Roll on Long's card to determine what happens.

4: Commissioner Teddy Long shakes things up! (I will normally roll on the CWFH Dave Marquez card to determine what happens here.)

5: A wrestler competing on this card (select one at random) suffers a legitimate injury. This will take effect AFTER their scheduled match. Roll 2 dice and consult the injury chart below.

6: The card proceeds as planned without any changes.

7: A wrestler not scheduled to compete on this card will be interviewed by Lance Russell (EP 8). Roll on Russell's card to decide what happens.

8: A press conference with Bill Apter will take place on the this card. It will feature a wrestler (or tag team) that won a high profile match during a recent card. Roll on Apter's card to decide what happens.

9: Morgan Dollar (from CAC 2) will be the special referee for the main event. Roll on Dollar's card to determine how he will impact the match.

10: Dr Mike Lano (from CAC) is present to document some of the action. Pick an important match that he will impact. Roll on Lano's card the first time a wrestler decides to (lv) the ring.

11: Bill Alfonso (from EP4) has arrived to cause a bit of mayhem! Pick an important match for Alfonso to serve as the referee.

12: Roddy Piper makes his arrival and hosts a special installment of Piper's Pit segment. Roll on Piper's Pit card and enjoy the fallout!


Also a couple of fun house rules that I've used in other feds (keeping in mind that I always roll 2 dice for opening initiative):

-- When a wrestler rolls 11 or 12 on initiative, roll on the Gordon Solie pre-match interview chart to start the match.
-- When a wrester rolls 2 or 3 on initiative, roll on the Gordon Solie post-match interview chart after the match is over.
* If both wrestlers (or teams) get this result, give the interview to whoever rolled the higher number.

-- When both wrestlers roll the same number on initiative, roll on the Gary Michael Cappetta ringside announcer chart.


And finally, the legitimate injury chart that is referenced above:

2: 200 cards
3: 100 cards
4: 50 cards
5: 25 cards
6: 10 cards
7: 5 cards
8: 15 cards
9: 35 cards
10: 75 cards
11: 150 cards
12: Career threatening (50 cards minimum. Then requires a roll of doubles to return. Check after 50 cards, then after 100 cards and then every 25 cards thereafter.)

Because of the way I'm running this fed, I can't really say... I'm only counting by the number of cards... Meaning there is no real world timeline to be followed... However, if I find that I'm losing too many wrestlers for long periods of time, those charts will get tweaked pretty fast... Hope you enjoy the fun to come, my friend... And thanks for checking in!
