Your dice hate AJ!!! Never would have guessed Kingston and Homicide would have early leads, great stuff! Those damn dice are certainly not being overly kind to the Phenomenal One, that's for sure... First, a snake eyes finish... And then he can't score the fall against an opponent carrying four tokens... Ugh! Not what I was hoping to see. It would be kinda neat if the Outlaw Inc. teammates wind up facing each other in the Cup final though... Always appreciate the great feedback, my friend... Many thanks!

Kingston has to defend his spot on top. Hopefully Styles can at least put Pearce down.

American Showdown Wrestling #23 EPIC GLORY CUP
Alpha Bracket: NIGEL MCGUINNESS def. Tommaso Ciampa via pinfall after a JAWBREAKER LARIAT. -- Tokens: Ciampa 1 -- A series of vicious strikes allowed McGuinness to secure a virtually unopposed victory.
Bravo Bracket: ADAM PEARCE def. AJ Styles via pinfall after a JUMPING PILEDRIVER. -- Tokens: Pearce 3 - Styles 4 -- Despite a slow start, Styles was able to rally and turn this into a highly competitive match. Pearce combined his technical ability with some brawling tactics out on the floor to regain the upper hand.
Alpha Bracket: AUSTIN ARIES def. Bryan Danielson via pinfall after a 450 SPLASH (+2). -- Tokens: n/a -- Aries blindsided Danielson with a stunning blow and immediately capitalized on the opportunity.
Bravo Bracket: RHINO def. Brodie Lee via pinfall after a running powerslam. -- Tokens: Lee 2 -- The advantage changed hands several times before either man was able to gain any decisive leverage. Neither man seemed as aggressive as usual and the approach paid off for Rhino.
Alpha Bracket: HOMICIDE def. Claudio Castagnoli via pinfall after DA GRINGO KILLER. -- Tokens: Homicide 1 -- Homicide gained the advantage with a cheap shot during a wild brawl out on the floor. Realizing that Castagnoli would not remain vulnerable for very long, he brought the fight back into the ring for a quick finish.
Bravo Bracket: EDDIE KINGSTON def. Kevin Steen via pinfall after SLIDING D. -- Tokens: Kingston 5 - Steen 2 -- Attacking with reckless abandon, Steen took more risks than necessary and it wound up costing him this hard fought match.
Scoring after round three:
Alpha Bracket Homicide 6 Austin Aries 4 Nigel McGuinness 4 Bryan Danielson 2 Claudio Castagnoli 2 Tommaso Ciampa 0
Bravo Bracket Eddie Kingston 6 Rhino 4 Adam Pearce 4 Brodie Lee 2 Kevin Steen 1 AJ Styles 0

Kingston keeps taking a beating and winning. I'm convinced now that there's a ringer posing as AJ Styles in this tournament.

I will point out that I'm not using the hooded version of AJ which is a departure for me... Just hoping he can pull out of the cellar before this thing wraps up. The Mad King and the Notorious 187 -- Remaining undefeated and holding strong at the top, my friend... In actually looking forward to them meeting in the final... Now I've probably jinxed them. HA!

yeah even though they should be in theory similar powerwise, Hooded AJ just always seems to outperform unhooded AJ
(I use hooded AJ in Legends and unhooded AJ in Indys and you saw unhooded drop to Willie Mack the other day)

When I got the two AJ cards I ran a best-of-seven series between them and unhooded beat hooded 4-2. Unhooded Styles also just beat Jerry Lynn for the World Title in my ROH Fed. But then again Thantos has accomplished very little in my COTG Fed so perhaps my dice just like to go against the norm.

And the Calf Killer (add 1 move) only appears on that version as well... That being said, he's been plagued by more than a few unlucky dice rolls during this event... Even if he wins his last two matches, it's impossible for him to stay out of the bottom half of the bracket, so he won't be eligible to compete in the next EPIC Glory Cup series... Ugh!
