Summer Showdown PPV -- United Center (Chicago, Ill.) -- June 17, 2023
Gordon Solie & Gorilla Monsoon welcome the viewers to the United Center in Chicago for Summer Showdown that features three Championship matches, a No. 1 Contender match plus the DCWF's first Steel Cage match. To the action ...
The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton with Jim Cornette) defeated The Brisco Brothers by pin
The Midnight Express put on a tag-team clinic, isolating Jack (6 tokens) for much of the match before Condrey finally put him away with a gutwrench suplex. Afterwards, Cornette declared that his charges were ready to take on whoever wins tonight's tag-team championship match.
"Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant (with Captain Lou Albano) defeated "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan by submission
Valiant put Duggan to sleep after a Boogie Woogie Elbown and a chair shot.
Gorilla Monsoon checked in with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan for an update on former World Champion Adrian Adonis who was injured by "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert last night. Heenan tells the viewers that Adonis has third-degree burns on his face and neck and may never be the same again, and that it'll be quite a while before we see him back in the ring.
The New Age Outlaws (with Chyna) defeated The British Bulldogs by submission
A back-and-forth affair (5 tokens apiece) turned when Chyna lowblowed The Dynamite Kid and The Road Dogg locked in his Sleeper.
Battle of Olympians -- Mark Henry (with D'Lo Brown & Ivory) defeated Kurt Angle by pin
Henry had surprisingly little difficulty with Angle, following up a Bear Hug with the World's Strongest Slam for the 3-count. D'Lo then began kicking and stomping Angle until Henry intervened and World's Strongest Slammed D'Lo before helping the confused Angle to his feet.
Loser Leaves Town -- Doctor X (with Koko B. Ware) defeated "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (with Virgil) by submission
Most of the action was outside the ring with Ware keeping Virgil at bay as Doctor X took it to The Million Dollar Man. DiBiase eventually tapped out to a Standing Surfboard to end his days in the DCWF.
6-Man Tag -- Mr. Fuji, Mr. Saito & Captain Lou Albano defeated The Road Warriors & Paul Ellering by pin
The Road Warriors hit a pair of Doomsday Devices on Fuji, but in the chaos of all six men constantly entering the ring, Captain Lou hit Hawk with brass knuckles and draped Fuji's arm across the big man who somehow kicked out but Hawk was unable to survive a doubleteam in the corner with Saito covering him for the victory.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage & "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig defeated "Rowdy" Roddy Piper & Cowboy Bob Orton, Jr. by pin
Macho Man hit his patented flying elbow on Orton while Mr. Perfect cut off Piper for the victory.
No. 1 Contender Match -- King Harley Race (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) defeated The Magnificent Muraco (with Mr. Fuji) by submission
Both men really wanted to earn the title shot, but in the end, Race (3 tokens) had just a little too much for Muraco (4 tokens), with the Magnificent One tapping out to an Indian Deathlock.
Women's Championship -- The Fabulous Moolah (with Captain Lou Albano) (c) defeated Debbie Malenko by pin
Malenko (6 tokens) showed tremendous heart, but couldn't repeat her vicious arm assault that nearly stopped Moolah in their last encounter, with the champ (2 tokens) retaining her belt following a Body Press.
Steel Cage Match -- Bob Backlund (with Arnold Skaaland) defeated Rob Van Dam (with Bill Alfonso)
Backlund battered Van Dam from pillar-to-post before escaping the cage following a vicious Atomic Drop.
Tag Team Championship -- The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff (with "Classy" Freddie Blassie) (c) defeated King Kong Bundy & Big John Studd (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) by pin
The champs retained the gold when The Iron Sheik covered Bundy after a missed Atlantic City Avalanche.
World Championship Triple Threat -- Big Van Vader (c) defeated "Ravishing" Rick Rude and "The Franchise" Shane Douglas by pin
Rude charged Vader at the opening bell and the champ nimbly sidestepped him and tossed him over the top rope then hit a Release Power Bomb on Douglas for the surprisingly easy quick victory. Rude and Douglas got into a heated shouting match before Douglas finally decided to head back to the dressing room. A still irate Rude blindsided The Franchise and hit a Rude Awakening on the ramp and stormed off as a bemused Vader looked on from atop the turnbuckle.

Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan welcome the viewers to Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa for this week's edition of Monday Night Mayhem that features The Dream Team vs former champions Tony Garea & Larry Zbyszko, Sgt. Slaughter vs Hillbilly Jim, The Miracle Violence Connection vs The J.O.B. Squad plus S.D. Jones vs "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert. Heenan goes on a diatribe proclaiming that Gilbert should be banned for life after his ridiculous actions against Adrian Adonis last week and that this will be the first time he's ever rooting for Jones. To the action ...
"Pretty Boy" Larry Sharpe defeated The Unpredictable Johnny Rodz by pin
Sharpe had Rodz in trouble until the action spilled out of the ring, but the Pretty Boy recovered and scored the fall following a suplex assortment in an action-packed opener.
The J.O.B. Squad (The Blue Meanie & Scorpio with Al Snow) defeated The Miracle Violence Connection ("Dr. Death" Steve Williams & Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy) by pin
The J.O.B. Squad stunned the crowd (and The Miracle Violence Connection) when Scoripio hit The Diss That Don't Miss on Gordy for the victory after Snow had flattened Dr. Death with Head.
Magnum T.A. defeated Jake "The Milkman" Milliman by pin
Magnum made short work of Milliman in his debut, ending it with a belly-to-belly suplex.
Pat Patterson defeated Sam Houston by pin
It was all Patterson as he eventually put away Houston with Bombs Away.
"Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert defeated S.D. Jones by pin
Heenan's voice rose two octaves when Jones knocked Gilbert (3 tokens) silly with a series of Headbutts, but Hot Stuff had the presence of mind to drape his foot on the ropes to break the count. He then pulled out a foreign object and belted S.D. with it before hitting a Hot Shot for the victory.
Al Snow defeated George "The Animal" Steele by pin
With Steele seemingly infatuated with Head, Snow "gifted" him to The Animal then followed up with a Snow Plow for the win, before reclaiming Head from a distraught Steele.
Sgt. Slaughter defeated Hillbilly Jim by submission
Slaughter easily handled the big Hillbilly, locking in the Cobra Clutch for the victory.
Tony Garea & Larry Zbyszko defeated The Dream Team (with Johnny V) by pin
The former champs ran circles around The Dream Team, scoring near falls on both Beefcake (1 token) and Valentine (4 tokens) before Garea ended it with an elbow drop on The Hammer while Zbyszko kept Beefcake at bay.

Major upset for the Big Valbowski, putting down Superfly with his own version of the top rope splash. WOW! Yeah, it shocked me. Snuka finally started putting some wins together for me, then this happened in less than 5 moves.

Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan welcome the viewers to INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, Kan. for this week's edition of Monday Night Mayhem that features "The Franchise" Shane Douglas' 13th defense of his TV Title when he battles Koko B. Ware, The Midnight Express vs former champions The British Bulldogs and Bob Backlund vs "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant. To the action ...
Luna Vachon defeated Princess Victoria by pin
Luna put away Victoria with a Top Rope Splash.
Bobo Brazil defeated Tom "Rocky" Stone by pin
Brazil was last seen eliminating Big John Studd before getting tossed by King Kong Bundy in one of the World Championship Qualifier Battle Royals on the DCWF's opening card in January ... he wasted little time shaking off the ring rust before stopping Stone with a pair of Coco Butts.
Ivan Koloff & Pat Patterson defeated Mike Jackson & Nacho Barrera by submission
Koloff squeezed the fight out of Jackson with a Bear Hug.
The Glamour Girls (with "Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart) defeated Molly Holly & Ivory by pin
Holly & Ivory had Judy Martin (4 tokens) in trouble multiple times, but some timely interventions by Hart (despite losing his megaphone in the process) gave The Glamour Girls time to recover and Leilani Kai scored the fall on Holly following a scoop slam.
"Rowdy" Roddy Piper (with Cowboy Bob Orton, Jr.) defeated Al Snow by submission
Piper was victorious after Snow tapped out to his Sleeper. During the match, George "The Animal" Steele tried to sneak ringside presumably to steal Head, but The J.O.B. Squad intercepted him and chased the enraged Animal away.
The Midnight Express (with Jim Cornette) defeated The British Bulldogs by pin
The Midnight Express got the victory when "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton covered The Dynamite Kid after The Rocket Launcher.
"Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant (with Captain Lou Albano) defeated Bob Backlund (with Arnold Skaaland) by disqualification
Backlund was DQ'd during a wild out-of-ring brawl after wresting a steel chair from Albano and flattening both the Captain and Valiant with said chair.
TV Championship -- "The Franchise" Shane Douglas (with "Head Cheerleader" Francine) defeated Koko B. Ware by pin
Referee Joey Marella lost all control in this affair ... after Douglas hit a Pittsburgh Plunge on Ware, "Ravishing" Rick Rude rushed the ring and blindsided The Franchise, hitting another Rude Awakening on his former ally. Francine then leaped on Rude's back and raked his eyes while yanking his hair until Rude slammed backwards into one the turnbuckles to shake her. The confused Marella ordered Rude and Francine back to the dressing room and then called for the match to continue. Ware seized the offensive on the still groggy champion and scored several near falls before Douglas recovered and retained the belt with a back suplex followed by another Pittsburgh Plunge. After the bell sounded, an irate Douglas stormed off in search of Rude.

Friday Night Fury -- Hy-Vee Arena (Kansas City, Mo.) -- June 30, 2023
Gordon Solie welcomes the viewers to the Hy-Vee Arena in Kansas City, Mo. for tonight's edition of Friday Night Fury headlined by "Ravishing" Rick Rude vs Mr. Perfect and featuring the debuts of "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock and The Rock 'n' Roll Express. To the action ...
"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock defeated Frogman Leblanc by submission
Shamrock wasted little time getting Leblanc to tap to an Ankle Lock.
The Love Brothers defeated The Mulkeys by pin
The bell had barely stopped sounding when "Horrible" Hartford Love put away Bill Mulkey with a Neckbreaker.
Sensational Sherri defeated Debbie Combs by disqualification
Sherri ducked a wild right from Combs that landed squarely on the jaw of Dick Woehrle who promptly called for the bell and DQ'd Combs.
Cowboy Bob Orton, Jr. (with "Rowdy" Roddy Piper) defeated "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan by pin
With Hacksaw busy jawing with Piper, Orton blindsided Duggan and blasted him with a kneeling neckbreaker before getting the 3-count after a superplex.
Big John Studd & King Kong Bundy (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) defeated The Rock 'n' Roll Express by pin
The highly anticipated debut of The Rock 'n' Roll Express didn't go to plans for them as The Brain's behemoths put a savage beating on Ricky Morton before Bundy ended it with an Atlantic City Avalanche on Robert Gibson, settling for the "pedestrian" 3-count.
Kurt Angle defeated Doctor X by pin
Doctor X had Angle (4 tokens) reeling after hitting him multiple times with a foreign object, but the Olympian fought back and scored the fall with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex.
The New Age Outlaws (with Chyna) defeated The Briscos by disqualification
The Briscos were disqualified during an out-of-ring brawl when Jack took things a little too far and slammed "Badd Ass" Billy Gunn through the Spanish announcers' table.
A jubilant Bobby "The Brain" Heenan grabs the mic from Gordon Solie and tells the crowd that he has a huge announcement as they rain boos on him. "You ungrateful mouthbreathers, it's your pleasure for me to introduce the newest member of The Heenan Family ... 'Ravishing' Rick Rude!!! And let me tell you something else. He's going to show you all that it's a dog eat dog world, and Mr. Perfect is a Milk Bone."
"Ravishing" Rick Rude (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) defeated "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig by pin
With referee James Beard down, Mr. Perfect had Rude in all kinds of trouble and surely would've had a 3-count after laying him out with The Axe, but he then made the mistake of turning his back on his foe to check on Beard, allowing the Ravisihing one to hit a Rude Awakening as Heenan now tried to revive Beard. The crowd erupted when DCWF Television Champion "The Franchise" Shane Douglas rushed the ring and landed a series of punches on Rude followed by a Pittsburgh Plunge before draping Hennig's arm across Rude's chest and rolling out of the ring to disappear into the crowd. A still groggy Beard's count was slow, allowing Rude to kick out at 2 3/4. During the commotion, Heenan slipped a foreign object to Rude (3 tokens) that he used to great advantage, finally stopping Mr. Perfect (5 tokens) with another Rude Awakening followed by a piledriver for good measure.

The Magnificent Muraco (with Mr. Fuji) defeated "Macho Man" Randy Savage by pin
