Monday Night Mayhem -- Simmons Bank Arena (Little Rock, Ark.) -- May 22, 2023
Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan welcome the viewers to Simmons Bank Arena in Little Rock, Ark. for this week's edition of Monday Night Mayhem that features former DCWF Tag Team champions The British Bulldogs vs The Love Brothers, Debbie Malenko's challenge for The Fabulous Moolah's Women's Title and Bob Backlund vs Rob Van Dam. To the action ...
Trish Stratus defeated Molly Holly by pin
Stratus had little difficulty with Holly, earning the win with Statusfaction.
The Brisco Brothers defeated The Mulkeys by pin
Jack scored the 3-count after a lateral guillotine on Randy.
Doctor X defeated Virgil (with "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase) by disqualification
Virgil was DQ'd when referee Dick Woehrle caught DiBiase cheap-shotting Doctor X when the action spilled to the floor.
The Love Brothers defeated The British Bulldogs by disqualification
The dastardly Loves were up to their usual shenanigans and pushed the Dynamite Kid too far, so he resorted to choking "Rotten" Reginald with the tag rope despite Davey Boy's protests and the Bulldogs were disqualified.
Koko B. Ware defeated "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (with Virgil) by pin
Doctor X rushed ringside and speared the unsuspecting Virgil, allowing Ware to surprise the distracted Million Dollar Man and put him away with a Brainbuster.
"Wildfire" Tommy Rich defeated Sgt. Slaughter by disqualification
After a couple of near falls by Rich, a frustrated Slaughter whipped Wildfire with his swagger stick and was disqualified.
Women's Championship -- The Fabulous Moolah (with Captain Lou Albano) defeated Debbie Malenko by pin
If not for a couple of timely interventions by Albano, we'd have a new DCWF Women's Champion. Moolah (10!!! tokens) retained the title via a jackknife cradle, but only after referee Joey Marella missed her tapping out to a cross-face chicken wing due to Captain Lou's interference. Malenko's relentless application of her Fujiwara armbar wore down the champ and she surely would've had the victory after applying the STF, but Albano broke Malenko's concentration and she released the hold allowing Moolah to steal the victory.
Bob Backlund (with Arnold Skaaland) defeated Rob Van Dam (with Bill Alfonso) by disqualification
RVD was disqualified for going to the well once-too-often with his Van Daminator, handing the victory to Backlund.

Ivory was DQ'd after she hair-pull whipped Rayne into the ring steps.
The Unpredictable Johnny Rodz defeated Grandmaster Sexay by pin
Rodz put away Sexay with a piledriver.
The Long Riders defeated The New Age Outlaws (with Chyna) by disqualification
Referee Dick Woehrle called for the bell after Chyna low-blowed Scott Irwin when the action spilled out of the ring.
King Kong Bundy (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) defeated Scotty 2 Hotty by pin
Surprisingly, Bundy didn't demand a 5-count after hitting his Atlantic City Avalanche on Scotty and settled for the regular 1-2-3.
"Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig defeated "Rowdy" Roddy Piper (with Cowboy Bob Orton, Jr.) by disqualification
After both men scored several near falls, Hennig looked to put away Piper with a Perfect Plex, but Ace Orton interfered and got Piper DQ'd.
King Harley Race (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) defeated Sam Houston by pin.
Race stopped Houston with a pair of vertical suplexes.
Hardcore -- Bruiser Brody defeated "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan by pin
One of the most memorable spots in this wild affair was Duggan crashing through a table after missing a suicide dive. Brody exacted revenge for Hacksaw's repeated 2x4 shots in their previous encounters and made extensive use of a foreign object he had tucked in his tights before ending the match with a jumping knee drop.
Tag Team Championship -- The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff (with "Classy" Freddie Blassie) defeated Tony Garea & Larry Zbyszko (c) by pin
The Iron Sheik & Volkoff took turns working over Garea before the champs finally found their footing, but Blassie's men were just too much. After Volkoff hit a backbreaker drop on Zbyszko, we have new DCWF Tag Team Champions.

After a wild out-of-ring brawl, Snuka finished off The Sandman with a Superfly Leap.
The Dream Team (with "Luscious" Johnny Valiant) defeated Barry Windham & Tully Blanchard (with J.J. Dillon) by pin
In a back-and-forth affair, The Dream Team came out victorious over the former DCWF Tag Team Champions when Beefcake stopped Windham with a backbreaker drop. Both teams acquired at least 6 tokens in the thrill-a-minute affair: Beefcake (2), Valentine (4), Windham (5), Blanchard (2)
Pat Patterson defeated "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert by submission
Patterson controlled most of the action before finally getting Gilbert to tap out to a Boston Crab.
Cowboy Bob Orton, Jr. (with "Rowdy" Roddy Piper) defeated "Macho Man" Randy Savage by disqualification
With referee Joey Marella down after taking a bump, Orton & Piper doubleteamed Savage, but Orton still couldn't put him away when Marella came to. Piper again invervened following a pair of patented Savage Flying Elbow Drops and was chased from the ring by an irate Macho Man who returned with a steel chair that he used to bust Orton wide open, forcing Marella to call for the bell.
Al Snow defeated "Ravishing" Rick Rude (with Shane Douglas & Francine) by disqualification
The bell had barely sounded when Rude tossed Snow out of the ring to a waiting Douglas who laid him out with the timekeeper's bell before hitting a Pittsburgh Plunge as Rude grabbed the mic and promised Vader that this was just a preview of what's going to happen to him at Summer Showdown before hitting the Rude Awakening on a defenseless Snow.
Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito (with Captain Lou Albano) defeated The Road Warriors (with Paul Ellering) by pin
The Road Warriors hit their Doomsday Device on Fuji, but Saito broke the count then flattened Animal with a vicious headbutt as tempers flared all around. During the fracas, Fuji hit a middle rope splash on Animal for the 3-count and a Pier-Sixer broke out with even Captain Lou and Precious Paul getting involved.

Virgil tapped out to Doctor X's figure-four leglock while Ware and DiBiase were brawling outside the ring.
Big John Studd (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) defeated Hillbilly Jim by submission
Jim had Studd caught in his Bearhug when King Kong Bundy & King Harley Race rushed ringside causing the big Hillbilly to release the hold as he started jawing with the Heenan Family. Studd capitalized on the distraction and blindsided Jim then hoisted him into the Backbreaker from which there was no escape.
"Wildfire" Tommy Rich defeated Sgt. Slaughter by pin
Rich dominated the match, frustrating Slaughter with his quickness before getting the 3-count via a vertical suplex. The big Marine blindsided Wildfire while he was celebrating his victory and locked in the Cobra Clutch and wouldn't release it until a host of officials from the back pried Rich loose.
The Magnificent Muraco (with Mr. Fuji) defeated S.D. Jones by pin
Muraco had little trouble with Jones and scored the fall with a Russian Leg Sweep.
Chain Match -- Kurt Angle defeated Adrian Adonis (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) by submission
Angle dominated the former World Champion before forcing him to tap out to an Ankle Lock.
TV Title -- Tom "Rocky" Stone defeated "The Franchise" Shane Douglas (with "Ravishing" Rick Rude & "Head Cheerleader" Francine) (c) by disqualification
Douglas & Rude attacked Stone at the opening bell and stomped the bejesus out of him until Big Van Vader's music hit and they beat a hasty retreat before the World Champion could hit the ring.

After some early offense by Rodz, RVD assumed control and ended it with a Five-Star Frog Splash.
Jack Brisco (with Jerry Brisco) defeated Bob Backlund (with Arnold Skaaland) by disqualification
An entertaining match came to a sudden, unsatisfactory conclusion when Backlund was disqualified for suplexing Brisco through the Spanish announcers' table. Before Jerry could exact revenge for his brother, Rob Van Dam rushed ringside and administered a beating on Backlund.
No Holds Barred -- The British Bulldogs defeated The Love Brothers by pin
The Dynamite Kid covered "Horrible" Hartford following a gutwrench suplex while Davey Boy was working over "Rotten" Reginald.
"Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig defeated "Rowdy" Roddy Piper (with Cowboy Bob Orton, Jr.) by pin
Mr. Perfect was firing on all cylinders in this one, never giving Piper a chance to establish any offense, and nearly had an early 3-count following a Perfect Plex, but Orton broke the count. Hennig quickly dispatched Orton over the top rope and hit another Perfect Plex for the victory. While Mr. Perfect was celebrating his triumph, Piper cheapshotted him from behind and locked in his sleeper, allowing Orton to deliver a cast shot from the top rope that busted Hennig wide open.

Jerry Brisco (with Jack Brisco) defeated Mike Jackson by countount
Jackson escaped Brisco's figure-four leglock, but couldn't beat the count after a vicious falling leg snap on the apron left him writhing in pain on the arena floor. Luna Vachon defeated Molly Holly by pin
Both ladies hit multiple high-impact moves, but in the end, Luna's Top Rope Splash was too much for Holly. Too Cool defeated The Mulkeys by pin
Scotty 2 Hotty scored the fall after hitting The Worm on Randy. The Glamour Girls (with "Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart) defeated Rockin' Robin & Jacqueline by disqualification
A frustrated Rockin' Robin got her team DQ'd when she blasted Judy Martin with a steel chair. King Kong Bundy & Big John Studd (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) defeated The Killer Bees by pin
The Bees utilized their quickness to control the early action before the behemoths eventually wore them down, with the end coming after Bundy hit an Atlantic City Avalanche on Jumpin' Jim Brunzell. "Macho Man" Randy Savage defeated Cowboy Bob Orton, Jr. (with "Rowdy" Roddy Piper) by disqualification
Orton was disqualified after he and Piper slammed the Macho Man through the Spanish announcers' table. Savage was spared further punishment when Mr. Perfect rushed ringside to make the save. Commissioner Teddy Long visits with Gordon Solie and tells the crowd that these big matches have already been signed for next Saturday's Summer Showdown: - The World Championship will be on the line in the DCWF's first Triple Threat Match when Big Van Vader defends his belt against "Ravishing" Rick Rude & DCWF Television Champion "The Franchise" Shane Douglas

Race snapped after Snow hit him with Head and was DQ'd for repeatedly ramming Snow's noggin into the ringside steps followed by a piledriver on the arena floor. Tag Team Championship -- The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff (with "Classy" Freddie Blassie) (c) defeated Tony Garea & Larry Zbyszko by pin
The return encounter lacked much of the drama from the first meeting as The Sheik & Volkoff easily defended the belts with Volkoff scoring the pinfall on Zbyszko after throat-dropping him on the top rope after The Sheik tossed Garea from the ring.

Monday Night Mayhem -- Little Caesars Arena (Detroit, Mich.) -- June 12, 2023
Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan welcome the viewers to Little Caesars Arena in Detroit for the last Monday Night Mayhem before Saturday night's Summer Showdown PPV extravaganza. They tell the viewers that Commissioner Teddy Long will have some more big announcements regarding that event, but tonight's card is nothing to sneeze at with the debut of The Miracle Violence Connection, Kurt Angle tangling with Pat Patterson and Sgt. Slaughter challenging "Wildfire" Tommy Rich in a Boot Camp Match. To the action ... The Miracle Violence Connection ("Dr. Death" Steve Williams & Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy) defeated The Mulkeys by pin
The MVC had a successful debut with Dr. Death putting away Bill with The Oklahoma Stampede. Debbie Combs defeated Trish Stratus by disqualification
Stratus was DQ'd for shoving referee Dick Woehrle while she was choking Combs in the ropes. George "The Animal" Steele defeated Mark Henry (with D'Lo Brown & Ivory) by disqualification
After Steele feasted on a turnbuckle, Henry was DQ'd for driving The Animal's head into the exposed steel. Tully Blanchard (with Barry Windham & J.J. Dillon) defeated Sam Houston by countout
Houston controlled the early going, but the tide turned when Blanchard hit him with a roll of quarters and then took the action to the arena floor. A sledge off the apron left Houston unable to beat the 10-count. Tony Garea & Larry Zbyszko defeated The Dream Team (with "Luscious" Johnny Valiant) by disqualification
After multiple near falls for The Dream Team, the former champs escaped with the victory when Beefcake wouldn't release a chokehold on Zbyszko. The Magnificent Muraco (with Mr. Fuji) defeated D'Lo Brown (with Mark Henry & Ivory) by pin
It was all Muraco as The Magnificent One put a savage beatdown on Brown, pulling his shoulders off the mat multiple times to inflict more punishment before finally settling for the 3-count after the Hawaiian Hammer. Kurt Angle defeated Pat Patterson by pin
Angle fought his way to the ropes after Patterson caught him in the Boston Crab, then unleashed a vicious assault of his own, culminated by an Olympic Slam for the victory. The crowd was buzzing when Commissioner Teddy Long made his way out onto the ramp to announce additional matches that have been signed for Saturday night's Summer Showdown. In addition to what he shared last Friday, these matches have been added to the card: - The Midnight Express will make their DCWF debut against The Brisco Brothers
- "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase will meet Doctor X in a Loser Leaves Town match
- A battle of Olympians when Mark Henry takes on Kurt Angle
- King Harley Race will face The Magnificent Muraco in a No. 1 Contender's match with the winner guaranteed a title shot next Friday night.
- The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff will defend their DCWF Tag Team Championship against The Heenan Family's King Kong Bundy & Big John Studd
and - Bob Backlund and Rob Van Dam will renew acquaintances inside a Steel Cage
Boot Camp Match -- Sgt. Slaughter defeated "Wildfire" Tommy Rich by referee stoppage Rich hit the ring a house afire and it looked like he'd best the big Marine in his hand-selected match until Slaughter started whipping him with his belt and Rich never recovered. A pair of Slaughter Cannons softened up Rich for the Cobra Clutch ... Wildfire refused to submit but James Beard called for the bell when Rich was unresponsive.

Thanks Pariah. I hope it lives up to the potential. I've already had to re-book one of my planned matches due to an unexpected upset (sometimes the dice just don't cooperate. )

Friday Night Fury -- Gainbridge Fieldhouse (Indianapolis, Ind.) -- June 16, 2023
Gordon Solie welcomes the viewers to the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis for tonight's edition of Friday Night Fury on the eve of Summer Showdown and informs the viewers that tonight's show is headlined by former DCWF World Champion Adrian Adonis vs "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert, Bruiser Brody vs Koko B. Ware, "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka vs Barry Windham plus The Heenan Family's King Kong Bundy & Big John Studd in a final tuneup before their challenge for the belts. To the action ... Jacqueline defeated Shirley Black by pin
Jacqueline stopped the debuting Black with a power bomb. Hillbilly Jim defeated The Sandman by disqualification
The Sandman was DQ'd for using his Singapore Cane on Jim during a wild out-of-ring brawl. The J.O.B. Squad (The Blue Meanie & Scorpio with Al Snow) defeated The Love Brothers by pin
The J.O.B. Squad had little difficulty with The Loves, ending it with a Blue Light Special on Hartford. Melina defeated Ivory (with Mark Henry & D'Lo Brown) by pin
A pair of Last Calls by Melina put away Ivory. "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka defeated Barry Windham (with Tully Blanchard & J.J. Dillon) by pin
Snuka ran roughshod over Windham, Blanchard & Dillon, hitting Superfly Leaps on all of them before scoring the 3-count with a final one on Windham. King Kong Bundy & Big John Studd (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) defeated Keith Steinborn & Frogman Leblanc by submission
There was no escape for Leblanc when he was caught in Studd's Backbreaker while Bundy stood on Steinborn's chest. Koko B. Ware defeated Bruiser Brody by pin
Ware stunned Brody (and the crowd) with a pair of Brainbusters for the win. Commissioner Teddy Long came out to announce two additional matches that have just been signed for Summer Showdown: - "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan will challenge "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant
and - Former Tag Team Champions The British Bulldogs will face The New Age Outlaws
Adrian Adonis (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) defeated "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert by disqualification Adonis had Gilbert reeling after a flying headscissors and bulldog headlock, but Hot Stuff was able to kick out and would've had the fall after a Hot Shot if The Brain hadn't draped Adonis' foot over the bottom rope. As Gilbert argued with referee Joey Marella over that maneuver, Adonis snuck up behind him and locked in Goodnight Irene. Gilbert fought his way to the corner to break the hold and then threw a Fireball in Adonis' eyes and was disqualified as the former champ's howls horrified the crowd while a visibly shaken Heenan tended to him.
