Marella was clearly in the way of an Adonis comeback. Nice win by the Briscos.

Gordon Solie welcomes the viewers to Ball Arena in Denver for tonight's edition of Friday Night Fury that features Tony Garea & Larry Zbyszko's challenge for Barry Windham & Tully Blanchard's Tag Team Championship, King Kong Bundy vs Mr. Perfect and The Road Warriors vs Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito. To the action ...
The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff (with "Classy" Freddie Blassie) defeated Mike Jackson & Tom "Rocky" Stone by pin
Jackson surprised Volkoff with a floatover cradle for an early pin attempt before Blassie's men took command and ended the match after Volkoff throat-dropped Stone on the top rope.
Princess Victoria defeated Ivory by pin
A flying double chop by Victoria ended Ivory's night.
The British Bulldogs defeated The Love Brothers by disqualification
"Horrible" Hartford went crazy after Davey Boy went for the cover on "Rotten" Reginald following a crossbody block; a knee drop from the top rope broke the count but he then neck snapped him on the ropes to earn the DQ.
King Kong Bundy (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) defeated "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig by pin
Hennig kicked out after Bundy demanded a 5-count following an Atlantic City Avalanche, but the big man learned from his mistake and settled for a 3-count and the victory after hitting a second one.
"Rowdy" Roddy Piper (with Cowboy Bob Orton, Jr.) defeated Sam Houston by submission
Piper softened up Houston with a swinging neckbreaker before forcing him to tap out to a sleeper.

Tag Team Championship -- Tony Garea & Larry Zbyszko defeated Barry Windham & Tully Blanchard (with J.J. Dillon) (c) by pin
Windham (6 tokens) & Blanchard (1 token) were game in the second defense of their belts, but ultimately couldn't withstand the constant pressure by Garea (1 token) & Zbyszko (3 tokens), and after a double back elbow on Windham (and cover by Zbyszko), we have NEW DCWF Tag Team Champions.

Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan welcome the viewers to Arena-Auditorium on the campus of the University of Wyoming in Laramie for this week's edition of Monday Night Mayhem that features Kurt Angle vs former DCWF World Champion Adrian Adonis plus the debuts of Debbie Combs & Jacqueline. To the action ...
Mark Henry (with D'Lo Brown and Ivory) defeated "Pretty Boy" Larry Sharpe by pin
A World's Strongest Slam by Henry flattened the Pretty Boy.
The Glamour Girls (Judy Martin & Leilani Kai with "Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart) defeated Debbie Combs & Jacqueline by submission
The Glamour Girls never let Combs legally enter the ring, taking turns working over Jacqueline until she finally submitted to a Kai Boston Crab.

"Ravishing" Rick Rude (with TV Champion "The Franchise" Shane Douglas & Francine) defeated Al Snow by pin
Snow recorded a couple of early near falls, but ultimately succumbed to a Rude crossbody block.
Kurt Angle defeated Adrian Adonis (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) by disqualification
Angle had his entire arsenal on display while frustrating the former World Champion and it looked like he'd score the fall after a backbreaker but The Brain tripped him up when he went for the cover and a shouting match ensued. The oportunistic Adonis capitalized on this opportunity and locked in Goodnight Irene, but Angle worked his way to the ropes to break the hold. While Angle was gathering himself on the outside, Adonis snuck up behind him and bulldogged him into the timekeeper's bell and was disqualified while he and Heenan took turns stomping on the downed Olympic Hero.

Friday Night Fury -- BOK Center (Tulsa, Okla.) -- May 19, 2023
Gordon Solie welcomes the viewers to the BOK Center in Tulsa for tonight's edition of Friday Night Fury that features the debut of Luna Vachon, a battle of big men when Big John Studd clashes with Hillbilly Jim, Cowboy Bob Orton, Jr. vs The Macho Man and TV Champion "The Franchise" Shane Douglas defends his title against Jumpin' Jim Brunzell. To the action ...

Luna Vachon defeated Rockin' Robin by pin
Robin controlled the early action before Luna got her footing and eventually ended the match with a Top Rope Splash.
Hillbilly Jim defeated Big John Studd (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) by disqualification
Studd was DQ'd for refusing to release a blatant choke of Jim during a wild brawl.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage defeated Cowboy Bob Orton, Jr. (with "Rowdy" Roddy Piper) by disqualification
Savage picked up the victory, but paid the price for venturing out of the ring as Orton & Piper paid no attention to the ref and administered a brutal beatdown.
Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito (with Captain Lou Albano) defeated The Road Warriors (with Paul Ellering) by disqualification
Albano's charges worked over Animal with Saito scoring near falls after a thrust kick, a suplex and also via his sleeper. Hawk had finally seen enough after Fuji nailed a middle-rope splash and cleaned house with a steel chair to earn the DQ.
TV Title Championship -- "The Franchise" Shane Douglas (with "Ravisihing" Rick Rude & "Head Cheerleader" Francine) (c) defeated Jumpin' Jim Brunzell by pin
The Franchise easily retained the belt, putting away Brunzell with a power bomb, but his celebration was cut short when Vader's music hit, causing Douglas & Rude to stop dead in their tracks with panicked looks on their faces. The crowd went wild as Gordon Solie informed everyone that we have some exclusive footage from the hospital, courtesy of chatGPT:
With a determined look on his face, Big Van Vader is seen leaving the hospital despite protests from his doctors: "Rick Rude, Shane Douglas, and Francine...you may have thought that you could take me down, but you only made me stronger! You may have thought that you could sideline me for months, but I'm back and ready to take each and every one of you on!"
The crowd again erupts with cheers.
"Rude, you call yourself 'Ravishing', but there is nothing attractive about the way you attacked me after our last match. Douglas, you may be the DCWF Television Champion, but you are no match for the power of the man they call Vader. And Francine, you may think you're safe because you're just a valet, but you're just as guilty as the rest of them!"
The crowd begins to chant "Vader! Vader! Vader!"
"So here's what's going to happen. At Summer Showdown on June 17th, I'm going to defend my World Championship against both of you in a Triple Threat match. And Francine, I'm going to make sure you're not at ringside. Because when it's just me, Rude, and Douglas in that ring, there will be no interference, no distractions, and no excuses."
Vader pounds his chest.
"I am the DCWF World Champion for a reason. And at Summer Showdown, I'm going to prove to each and every one of you why I am the most dominant force in this industry. So get ready, because the countdown to your defeat has already begun."
Solie concludes with "There you have it, folks! The champ is fighting mad and we're going to have our first-ever Triple Threat match at next month's Summer Showdown pay-per-view event."

This is the best chance that Rude and/or Douglas will ever get to take the strap off the Mastodon... They need to work together in order to remove the champ from the picture... Completely! Before setting their sights on each other... Can they capitalize on a golden opportunity? Or will it remain VADER TIME? Excellent storytelling, my friend... Nicely done indeed!

Yeah, it could be a glorious night for them, but more likely the beginning of the end for their little faction.
