LWF Legacy of Gold 5.27 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event of Kurt Angle vs. Vampiro in a rematch from the Golden Gate Cup. Ventura announces that Lou Thesz will defend the LWF World Heavyweight title next week against the winner of the Golden Gate Cup, Big Van Vader. Solie introduces the first match, saying Gotch reinstated his archrival to prove he was a fair man.
1. George Hackenschmidt vs. John Pesek Pesek gets the early momentum and shoves Hackenschnidt through the ropes. The referee cautions Pesek. Pesek hits a waistlock slam for a two count. Pesek wears Hackenschmidt down with a lateral press keylock. Pesek locks on the scissors and wristlock and refuses to release the hold until the referee threatens to disqualify him. Pesek throws Hackenschmidt out of the ring again. Hackenschmidt beats the count back into the ring but is favoring his wrist. Pesek and Hackenschmidt grapple back and forth. Pesek locks on the Tiger Man Toehold but Hackenschmidt is able to force the rope break. Pesek locks on the scissors and wristlock again and again the referee has to threaten disqualification to get him to release the hold. Pesek locks on the scissors and wristlock again and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner - George Hackenschmidt by DQ
Hackenschmidt’s wrist is visibly swollen as he heads to the back. Solie says something smells rotten. Ventura introduces the next match.
2. Penny Banner Vs, Beverly Shade Shade and Banner battle back and forth. Banner gets some momentum going and rolls Shade up with a small cradle for a two count. Banner hits the sunset flip for the win.
Winner - Penny Banner by pinfall
Solie says Banner will wrestle Trish Stratus next week to determine the #1 contender to the Ladies title. Ventura introduces the next match.
3. Tommy Gilbert vs. Stan Hansen Hansen bulldozes Gilbert and hits the Borger Body slam for a two count. Hansen clobbers Gilbert with the Lariat for the win.

The show goes to commercial break. When it returns, Bill Apter is in the ring with Big Van Vader. Apter presents Vader with the Golden Gate Cup. Vader says the only real trophy is the LWF World Heavyweight title. The LWF is the house that Vader built and he’s ready to add on another wing. He tells Lou Thesz that he doesn’t stand a chance next week!
Solie says things don’t look good for Thesz’s title reign but the champ might be able to pull off a victory. Ventura introduces the next match.
4. Malia Hosaka vs. Rockin’ Robin - LWF Ladies title match Hosaka and Robin quickly end up battling outside the ring. The referee herds them back into the ring and Hosaka hits a frankensteiner for a two count. Hosaka and Robin battle back and forth. Hosaka throws Robin out of the ring and she injures her ankle. Hosaka pulls Robin back into the ring by the hair and hits another Frankensteiner for the win.
Winner - Malia Hosaka, her first title defense
Ventura says Hosaka has a killer instinct but Stratus or Banner will give her a run for her money. Solie introduces the next match.
5. Ken Shamrock Vs. Dick Hutton Shamrock and Hutton grapple and roll out of the ring. Hutton gets the upper hand. Shamrock turns things around and locks on the Ankle Lock but Hutton is able to get to the ropes, forcing a rope break. Hutton makes a comeback and locks on the abdominal stretch. Shamrock taps out.
Winner - Dick Hutton by submission
Ventura says Gotch’s new rules are keeping things in the ring but wonders how they’ll affect competition in the long term. Solie introduces the next match, saying Kurt Angle is one of the few people in the LWF to have a win over Big Van Vader.
6. Kurt Angle vs. Vampiro Vampiro backs Angle into the ropes but Angle turns things around and hits a big suplex for a two count. Angle locks on the Ankle Lock but Vampiro is able to get to the ropes. Vampiro makes a comeback but Angle forces him into a corner. Angle and Vampiro grapple back and forth. Angle hits a big German Suplex. Angle goes to the top rope for a moonsault but Vampiro gets his knees up. Vampiro goes up to the top but Angle runs up the ropes and suplexes him back into the ring. Angle scores near falls with a moonsault and a power bomb. Angle hits the Olympic Slam for the win.
Winner - Kurt Angle by pinfall
Ventura and Solie sign off, telling the fans to tune in to LWF Universe for further developments.

LWF Universe 5.27 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show. Ventura says they’re not happy doing double duty but it beats the unemployment line or worse. Solie says George Hackenschmidt suffered an injury to his wrist Monday night and will be out of action for a while. Ventura plugs the main event of William Muldoon vs. Bobby Heenan, unable to keep the disgust out of his voice.
1. Tiger Conway Jr vs. Johnny Rodz Conway and Rodz battle back and forth. Conway hits the flying head butt for a two count. Conway hits a second flying head butt for the win.
Winner - Tiger Conway Jr by pinfall
Solie says it’s good to see Tiger Conway Jr in an LWF ring again. Ventura introduces the next match.
2. Sherri Martel Vs. Susan Green Green and Martel grapple back and forth. Martel hits a big knee lift for a two count. Martel hits a top rope splash for the win.

Ventura and Solie plug Monday night’s main event of Lou Thesz vs. Vader for the LWF World Heavyweight title as well as Penny Banner vs. Trish Stratus to determine the #1 contender to the LWF Ladies title. Ventura introduces the next match.
3. Dutch Savage Vs. Mike DiBiase DiBIase gets the early momentum. Savage makes a comeback and crushes DiBiase with a belly to back suplex for the three count.

Ventura says Dutch Savage could be in line for a title shot soon. Solie introduces the main event. Ventura leaves the booth and heads to the back.
4. William Muldoon vs. Bobby Heenan Muldoon tears into Heenan and wears him down with the double shoulder lock and the hammerlock and half nelson. Muldoon locks on the back neck hold and Heenan taps out.

3. The Patriot Vs. Joe Blanchard The Patriot gets the early advantage but Blanchard turns things around and wears him down with an airplane spin. Blanchard locks on the abdominal stretch but the Patriot won’t tap out. The Patriot makes a comeback and hits the Patriot Missile for a two count. The Patriot and Blanchard tumble out of the ring. The Patriot is nearly counted out. The Patriot makes a comeback and hits another Patriot Missile for a two count. The Patriot hits a standing dropkick for the win.

Solie says the Patriot showed resiliency in that match. Ventura introduces the next match and wishes Gorilla Monsoon luck.
4. Gorilla Monsoon vs. Abdullah the Butcher Monsoon goes on the attack and clobbers Butcher. Monsoon hits the Manchurian Landslide for a two count. Monsoon batters Abdullah with chops, busting him open. Monsoon hits another Manchurian Landslide for a two count. Monsoon hits a third Manchurian Landslide but still can’t put the Butcher away. Monsoon nails Butcher with a tackle and Abdullah tumbles out of the ring. Abdullah beats the count but is breathing hard. Monsoon hits a fourth Manchurian Landslide but Abdullah kicks out. Abdullah makes a comeback and gouges Monsoon with a foreign object. Abdullah locks on a nerve hold and Gorilla taps out.
Winner - Abdullah the Butcher by submission
Abdullah goes after Monsoon with a foreign object after the match. Bobby Heenan comes out of the crowd and blasts Abdullah with a chair. Monsoon and Heenan leave through the crowd before security arrives.
Ventura and Solie are speechless. A message arrives from the back that Heenan and Monsoon have been released from their contracts and barred from future LWF events. Ventura introduces the next match.
5. Penny Banner Vs. Trish Stratus - #1 contender Banner and Stratus battle back and forth. Banner wears Stratus down with a reverse surfboard. Banner hits a crossbody from the top for a two count. Banner wears Stratus down with an airplane swing. Banner and Stratus collide and tumble out of the ring. Banner is nearly counted out. Banner makes a comeback and hits the small cradle for a two count. Banner and Stratus battle back and forth. Banner hoists Stratus up in the airplane swing for the win.
Winner - Penny Banner by submission
Solie says Penny Banner will take on Malia Hosaka for the LWF Ladies title in next week’s main event. Ventura introduces the main event.
6. Lou Thesz vs. Vader - LWF World Heavyweight title match Vader crushes Thesz at the bell and hits a front slam for a two count. Vader backs Thesz into the ropes and surprises everyone with a clean break. Thesz gets in some offense but can’t get Vader off his feet. Vader backs Thesz into the corner and tries cheap shotting him but Thesz takes him to the mat with a double leg takedown. Vader pummels Thesz and hits another front slam for a two count. Thesz makes a comeback and hits a dropkick for a two count. Thesz hits the Thesz Press for a two count. Thesz goes for another Thesz Press but he and Vader tumble out of the ring. Vader power bombs Thesz against the guard rail. Thesz is counted out.
Winner - Vader by count out. Thesz retains the title, his fifth title defense

LWF Universe 5.28 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show and plugs the main event of Kurt Angle vs. John Pesek. Solie announces that Lou Thesz will take on Vader once again one week from Monday night with the LWF World Heavyweight title on the line. Ventura introduces the first match.
1. Ken Shamrock vs. Redd Dogg Sharmock backs Redd Dogg into the ropes and suplexes him to the mat. Shamrock hits a belly to belly suplex for a two count. Shamrock throws Redd Dogg through the ropes and Dogg lands awkwardly. Dogg favors his ankle after getting back in the ring. Shamrock backs Redd Dogg into the corner but Dogg turns things around. Red Dogg gets some momentum going and hits a power slam for a two count. Shamrock makes a comeback and hits a belly to belly suplex for the win.

Ventura puts over Ken Shamrock. Solie introduces the next match.
2. Red Bastien vs. Tommy Gilbert Bastien and Gilbert battle back and forth. Gilbert gets some momentum going and hits a knee lift for a two count. Gilbert hits another knee lift for the win.

Solie says the competition in the Ladies division is fierce. Ventura introduces the main event, saying Kurt Angle is the one man in the LWF with two unanswered wins over Vader.
4. Kurt Angle vs. John Pesek Angle bulls Pesek into the corner. As the referee pulls them apart, Pesek jabs a thumb in Angle’s eye. Angle comes back and hits a German Suplex. Pesek turns things around and locks on the Tiger Man Toehold but Angle escapes. Pesek locks on the scissors and wristlock but Angle escapes the hold. Pesek shoves Angle into the corner but Angle takes him down with a suplex and locks on the Ankle Lock! Pesek fights his way to the ropes. Pesek makes a comeback and throws Angle to the mat. Pesek locks on the scissors and wristlock and refuses to release the hold when Angle gets to the ropes. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner - Kurt Angle by disqualification
After the bell, Angle escapes the hold and batters Pesek until security gets between them.
