Hi! Just joking, but the new character's name can be "Phillip Singer", yes? Get it? "Phil Singer" = Filsinger!  And if everything is (mostly) ahead of schedule, maybe get out the "bonus item" BEFORE the 2139 set? This way, it's not only a show of appreciation to us loyal Promoters, but we can also show it off to all of our friends irl to drive interest? Just a suggestion!  Can't wait till GCon!  Todd C WTIC |

Funny it was mentioned but my orthodontist thought my name was Phil Singer for months before he got it straight.
When I used to make reservations at restaurants by phone when they asked for my name I would say Tom Filsinger and inevitably they would say "Thank you Mr. Singer." So I gave up and reserved tables for Phil Singer. Made life simpler! Now they just use your phone number to keep track so doesn't happen much any more.
Just an aside lol.

Once the set comes out it will be interesting to hear who the tag team was that had a name change and who the wrestler that was difficult to come up with a name. By the way, now when we want to hunt Tom down we know what alias he uses when staying at hotels.  |

lol I love some of the comments.
Blind speculation: I think the long word count for this set (around 28,000) is because there is a lot of character development. That is just a guess and I look forward to discussions with promoters when the set is released in July.
Especially the inter-relations of the different wrestlers with each other. You would think with a smaller roster there would be a shorter handbook but instead there are more layers of interactivity and I think more depth.
That's just a passing thought. We will see what promoters think in about two months!

I may have to make a flow chart or cheat sheet (by the sounds of it) for all the wrestlers conflicts coming ahead in 2139 lol

I too like more character development. A smaller roster allows that to happen, I think. I always tend to take the characters and do my own thing, but I have always LOVED the story/mythology/cannon of the game. For me it is like getting two universes when I get the new sets. I read the real one and truly enjoy it. Then I get to have fun figuring how I will meld that into my universe. I was already pumped to get the set this summer but this thread has pushed my excitement up even more. Till Deva starts her own Onlyfans I will be playing.
