I have revised my list of top feuds I am looking forward to in 2139 based on how the writing is coming along.
I have edited about 75% of the handbook. Sheesh! It takes a while. I have often told people that writing COTG every year is like writing a doctoral dissertation annually. It's a lot of research, editing, and proofreading. Takes a while.
Look forward to the virtual con on Sunday!

Loving your new approach to the handbooks Tom, fleshing out the interactions with all the wrestlers on the roster has been great to read. I'm very much looking forward to 2139 and can't wait for the virtual con coming up

Today's checklist:
* Cross referencing the wrestler feuds in the handbook for consistency.
* Checking all the "signature" moves and finishers on the game cards to make sure they are explained in the handbook.
* Sent one card drawing back to Darryl for changes. Had some new ideas for how one of the characters should look.
* Sent Tom R ideas for a handbook cover.
* Keeping a list of the new tag team names. I liked having the tag teams on the back cover of last year's handbook and I am planning on doing it again.
SEE YOU ON SUNDAY AT VIRTUAL CON!

Super convenient to list the teams there. When you forget a team, faster than trying to locate it in the handbook.

I agree that the tag team listings and the tag team ranges was a great addition. So simple, but it adds a lot of value to the experience!

Like we shouldn't have expected the Ultimate Gladiators to have a better chance of making a defensive tag than the team of Bishop Hell and Pharaoh Khetty?

Oh, sorry Chad Olson, I thought we were just talking about the tag team names/participants?

Going through my third edit of the 2139 handbook.
Still pondering a character's name. I think I'm getting closer.
Also changed a tag team name.
Card art, backgrounds, and colors are done and they are fantastic!
Handbook cover is a beauty also.
Bonus item (limited edition) is being worked on.
Bio section takes the longest to edit. Very dense with info.
The "story" sections (first half of handbook) are easier to proofread because they are mainly prose and more dramatic.
Getting close to the end of the road and ahead of schedule.
I can't wait for release and I can't wait to play!
Thank you to loyal promoters interacting on this thread.
