Hey there gang! I thought I would drop by to let loyal promoters know where I'm at in the creative process for ORIGINS 2139.
I should probably do this more often like in the good old days of the GWF Promoter and online. With more time on my hands (not teaching full time any longer) I may just do it and I hope promoters enjoy reading my ridiculous comments and ideas!
I have completed a first draft of an outline for the 2139 handbook. As always I am VERY excited about the process. My goal this month is to complete a first draft of the handbook in prose. And also first draft of card backs.
I have started working with Darryl on card art and when he has completed the drawings I will work with Tom Rickert on colors and backgrounds. I'm sure everyone agrees that this team does a marvelous job brining my ideas to life!
ORIGINS 2139 marks the end of a 4-part game arc that will end with a BANG! Secrets will be revealed and I have been waiting to share this storyline for four years. I knew where this was going four years ago and it takes patience as a writer and creator to get to the conclusion.
Well, not really a conclusion! I have also planned what happens after this...OH MY GOD what happens after this!
Never one to rest on my laurels as a writer I invite you to join me on an INCREDIBLE UNPRECEDENTED journey when ORIGINS ends. Clues have been laid out for you armchair detectives, but it won't be easy to guess! And I do mean INCREDIBLE AND UNPRECEDENTED but you'll see!
For now though the surprises begin with ORIGINS 2139. What happens with the New Vibe? Do they disband? Do some leave? Others join? What about the Battle For Castilex? Who wins and what happens? What newcomers are knocking on the door to enter the prestigious, illustrious GWF?
So much going on! I will return at some point for another update. I hope you are enjoying ORIGINS 2138 as much as I am!
