One inked drawing is done (I've been waiting to do this character for a while) and coloring begins soon. Second character was sent to Darryl and he will begin work on that.
Ideas are still swirling in my head and that's why I don't commit to teasing stuff before I'm actually finished because things can change.
Very excited about this edition and just as much (or more) about where this leads for the next several years.
Next week will be a big week for me as I plan to write the first draft of the handbook and work on the card backs. Rubber hits the road.

I hope we are headed toward the Dark Menace going into the Transevolver. That or some machine/spell that makes tiny copies of him. Like a cross between Minions and the tiny Ashes from Army of Darkness. Just a bunch of mini Dark Menaces running amok.

Tidbits and notes as ORIGINS 2139 progresses:
* Currently inserting Main Feuds into everyone's bio. This helps me tighten storylines and conflicts before I actually start writing prose.
* There may be a collectible or two added to this release, we'll see. As a collector myself, I always love that. And this will dovetail with the "bonus material" (one item) that I am thinking of adding this time. VERY EXCITED ABOUT THE STORY AND THE BONUS ITEM!
* The Basilisk will be "taken under the wing" of a team as reluctant "partners" in 2139. Who can it be and why???
I enjoy reading your comments and as always wish loyal promoters the best to keep those dice hot! I am eager to join you and play this game edition four months from now!

More of The Basilisk is always a good thing to me. He is my second favorite character just behind Wolf.

Basilisk is definitely fun. With teams returning, I'm not sure who will try and control him but should be fun to see.

Whew! What a day today!
Over 10,000 words written and now things are really in high gear.
What happens even shocks me as the characters take over and I just follow along and record their words and actions.
It feels like one shocker after another and honestly it tires me out, but in a good way.
Two card drawings are finished with one colored and pretty much done. I will send Darryl another card concept tomorrow.
I usually work on card stats after I have one draft of the entire handbook written. I'm on pace to finish the first draft of the handbook in about a week and I'm ahead of schedule overall, which is good because it gives me extra time for editing. I'm really into it and my enthusiasm has never wavered and that's after 37 years with no breaks. A yearly tradition for me.
I'm thankful there are people that still follow and care because I'd probably still write this stuff just for myself if no one did! That's how much I enjoy it.
I'll be back again soon...
