World Tag Team Champions Jimmy Snuka & Bruiser Brody are interviewed by Bill Apter in the Press Conference segment when Miracle & Violence Connection show up with fighting on their minds. The Champions are more than willing and a wild brawl erupts. Booker Bill comes out and orders a referee out and we have impromptu tag team match!

Gordy and Brody trade power. Brody had into the corner . . . clothesline counters Gordy’s charge! JUMPING KNEE DROP . . . 1, 2, from Joey Marella. Snuka off the top with fist. Flying head butt. Gordy bails . . . DIVE ONTO GORDY OUTSIDE THE RING . . . GORDY CATCHES SUPERFLY . . . SLAM THROUGH THE RINGSIDE TABE!!!! Back inside . . . Tombstone piledriver to Snuka. Williams tosses Snuka. Snuka hooks the leg . . . 1, 2, 3 (Snake Eyes!). Brody grabs is chain. Snuka tangles with Gordy and Brody smashes his chain into Williams and then chokes him with the weapon. Jim Londos v. Danny Hodge
Handshake. Hodge gains the immediate upper hand. Handstand knee drops land. Knee lift stuns Londos. Deathlock but Londos does not give up. Boxing jabs land. Londos pushes Hodge into the ropes, tackle from Hodge. Another knee lift rocks Londos. Hodge to the top . . . Londos slams him to the mat. Standing toe hold and then short-arm scissors. Grinding arm bar keeps Hodge on the mat and crotch lift and slam puts Hodge onto his back. Back to the upper body. Fireman’s carry slam punishes Hodge. Hodge counters a Grecian Sleeper Grip and catches Londos in a Boston Crab. Hodge works the lower back with handstand knee drops. Londos back with a crotch lift and slam and then it back to the arm. Another crotch lift and slam followed another one. Londos goes back to the upper body with a short-arm scissors. Hodge blocks a reverse toehold. More handstand knee drops are followed by an airplane spin. Backbreaker . . . countered into another crotch lift and slam. Standing toehold slows it down again. Countering back and forth. Hodge rebounded off the ropes into a back elbow. Simple arm drag gives Hodge the upper hand. Hodge control on the mat and with boxing jabs. More counters. Hodge reverses a whip to the corner and lands a boot. Hodge presses. Back elbow connects. Airplane spin to Londos. Jabs are matched with rabbit punches. More countering. Hodge rebounded into a back elbow. Crotch lift and slam. Short-arm scissors ties up Hodge. Hodge slips Londos into a Boston Crab. Grinding armbar leads but Hodge counters a Grecian Sleeper Grip attempt. Standing dropkick catches Londos on the chin. Boston Crab . . . James Beard calls for the break after Londos makes the ropes. It is all Hodge now with dropkicks, drop toe holds and backbreakers. Another Boston Crab. Londos gets free. Hodge works the back with knee drops. Airplane spin. Backbreaker and another Boston Crab. Morgan Dollar attempts to give both men strict instructions before the bell. You have got to be kidding me! Hansen has no interest in holds and counters as he hammers away. Van Dam is back with a body scissors cradle. Split legged moonsault for one. Rolling Thunder. Monkey flip and standing moonsault. 1, 2, shoulder up! Van Dam leaps to the top . . . Hansen tosses him to the mat. Van Dam tossed outside. Crawls back in. Tossed back out two more times before Hansen follows . . . LOOK OUT! Tearing it up! Fonzie is losing it with his whistle. Back in the ring . . . LARIAT. 1, 2, kick out. Tombstone piledriver . . . countered. Standing moonsault lands. Hansen bails. Dr. Mike Lano wisely gets out of the way. Van Dam smashes Hansen with his own cow bell! Van Dam tosses Hansen back to the floor. DIVE TO THE FLOOR! HANSEN CATCHES RVD!!! BACK FIRST INTO THE POST!!! Brazos Valley backbreaker. Big elbow drop. Another. Hooks the leg for two! Tosses outside. Van Dam crawls back in. Hansen with a tombstone piledriver. 1, 2, Alfonso distracts!!! Hansen tosses Van Dam. Outside, Van Dam with a kick. Great question.

When I started this fed it was a side project to my One Week in Ontario federation which I consider my primary fed. I wanted to be use more of the available cards without blowing up my One Week Fed and starting over. I also decided that any cards in use in my One Week fed would not appear in the Legends Fed. That is were the card subject to change comes in.

So why even schedule the match in the first place then? For my Legends Fed, I thought it would be fun to follow along with matches set out in the back of the handbooks initially and that is why the matches have been “booked” even though the competitors may not be available.
