Best of luck with the teachers strike. Sounds like the district is playing hardball. Stay strong and hang in there. thank you once again! regarding this contract dispute, we got an early Christams present as I woke up at about 1:45 AM/Rome time last night to my phone going off with nonstop messages and it turns out we won as the district caved shortly after we finally secured an arbitrator! we are getting basically everything we wanted (because that is what the Nevada state government allocated for us despite the district trying to prevent us from getting it:) 10% raise next year another 8% raise next year retro pay going back to July (we get this money in early March) so I think I might be able to make it to Mania Weekend in Philadelphia after all this whole episode also shows why collective bargaining is important as it is naive to think many employers will negotiate in good faith without it |

Congrats Zeke. You deserve all of it. Hope you get it in time for WM. If not, let me know. I would say have a Merry Christmas but you are in Rome and just got some great news so you already are having one. Enjoy and safe travels home.
