The Technicians and Arnold Skaaland bested The Moondogs and Captain Lou Albano when Skaaland pinned Albano after an Atomic Drop. The Moondogs made no attempt to save their manager from the assault of the faces. After the match, they attacked Albano with their bones until the faces made the save. The Moondogs were then taken by their new manager JJ Dillon.

Afa Jr. bested Koko B. Ware with Lights Out.
The Technicians crushed The Samoan Dynasty when Backlund put away Samu in three moves with the Atomic Drop. Backlund whipped Samu into the buckle, did his favorite move in the Gotch lift and then hit the Atomic Drop. Alofa did not react in time giving the Technicians perhaps their easiest win.

Curt Hennig bested Bob Backlund with the Perfect Plex. Heenan tripped Backlund and Hennig quickly used the Perfect Plex while The Brain held Backlund's leg to stop him from kicking out.

PG-13 bested Cruel Connection when D pinned I after the Hip Hop Drop. Despite Ice's love of body slamming, PG-13 took the win once CCI got into the match.
Bob Backlund thumped Rhino before finishing him off with the Atomic Drop. This wasn't long as Backlund reversed off the ropes, dropped Rhino on the floor and then hit the Atomic Drop to win.

Bob Backlund bested One Man Gang with the Atomic Drop. Gang got in a couple good shots but eventually Backlund lifted him up, dropped him and scored the pin.
