Bob Backlund finally put away a bloody Missing Link with a delayed vertical suplex. Link did not want to stay down and Backlund could not connect with the Atomic Drop or Chicken Wing so he simply pounded Link down until Link could not get up.

One Man Gang pinned Bill Dundee after Dundee crashed into the turnbuckle and Gang fell on top for the three count.
Bob Backlund got a tough battle from Kevin Sullivan but locked in the Crossface Chicken Wing and Sullivan passed out. Sullivan looked for a while that he might make the upset but Backlund toughed it out and scored the win.

The Grappler bested Davey Boy Smith by disqualification when Smith got angry on the floor and shoved the referee down while he was trying to break up a brawl.
Bob Backlund came back to beat Bobby Shane with the Atomic Drop. Shane locked on the Japanese Sleeper twice but Backlund survived and came back with the Rolling Backbridge then immediately hitting the Atomic Drop to win.

Shane should have known he would not win with the Sleeper. Bob cannot go to bed until he has watched Murder She Wrote, and he had not watched it yet that day.
