Paul Orndorff took a beating but came back to best George Steele with the Jumping Piledriver.
Bob Backlund thumped Rip Rogers with the Atomic Drop. Rogers got a brief opportunity but a whip into the ropes ended with Backlund gaining control and immediately finishing things with the Atomic Drop.

Rhino avoided a massive upset by Super Nova finally winning with the Gore!
Bob Backlund got a bit of a challenge from a feisty Cuban Assassin but finished him off with the Atomic Drop. Assassin caught Backlund with a jumping knee smash that knocked him for a loop for a bit but eventually Backlund regained his faculties and put him down. Fantasy tried to distract the referee but was ignored.

Mildred Burke forced Jacqueline to submit to a crooked head scissors.
Bob Backlund knocked out Sir Oliver Humperdink with the Crossface Chicken Wing. Hump nearly managed to escape but ended up passing out.

Bob Backlund got a fight from Maha Singh but a reversed deathjump led to the Atomic Drop and win.

Buddy Rose manhandled Jake Milliman with the Inside Backbreaker.
Bob Backlund crushed Andrew Anderson with the Atomic Drop in short order. After the match, Maha Singh and Kevin Sullivan tried to interfere only to end up on the floor as well.

Buddy Rose toyed with Manny Villalobos pinning him with seconds to spare with the Inside Backbreaker.
Wardlow hung around for a while, but in the end, Bob Backlund finished off Wardlow with the Atomic Drop. Wardlow did get a big power bomb but Backlund caught him off turnbuckle and slammed him to the mat before lifting him up for the Atomic Drop to cinch victory.
