NHL should be like NFL where all scores are reviewed. It would be easy with the break in action.
I feel ya about feeling like a jinx. Been there before lol.

Congrats on the win and moving on to the 2nd round. I missed the first couple periods, did not miss much though, as a guest had the NBA game on. Who watches NBA when NHL is on lol. It felt like second verse, same as the first as the game was 0-0 going into third just like the last game. But this time after scoring Vancouver made sure they did not give up any goals. Great job. Keep it going.

Great game, rooting for them against Edmonton! Thanks. I appreciate it. With all due respect to Nashville, who gave the Canucks all they could handle, the Oilers are going to be a MUCH tougher test especially considering how hot McDavid & Draisaitl were against the Kings. We'll probably either need outstanding goaltending or have to outscore them in some 5-4 and 6-5 games. GO, CANUCKS, GO!!!!

Keep it going. Thanks. I appreciate it. Glad you were able to catch the third period; those pesky guests. LOL! To quote Randall from the movie Clerks: "This job would be great if it wasn't for the customers." I've got to tip my hat to the Predators; they gave the Canucks all they could handle. They were blocking shots left, right and centre, Jusse Saros was a beast in net and for the most part they kept Vancouver's top players in check. This series reminded me a lot of the one the two teams played back in the 2011 playoffs. Arturs Silovs was fantastic in net for us these past few games and this series felt like a real coming-out party for our third-string goalie. It doesn't sound like Thatcher Demko will be back for the second round against Edmonton so we'll definitely need some great goaltending from Silovs and/or Casey DeSmith to try to stop Connor McDavid & Leon Draisaitl. Hopefully Elias Pettersson finds his groove against the Oilers as he failed to score against Nashville and only managed 3 assists. Time to start earning that $11 million dollar salary, Petey! Regardless of what happens the rest of the playoffs the Canucks finally have a solid foundation in place, both on the ice & off, and the future looks bright. GO, CANUCKS, GO!!!!

One down, three to go. Thanks for the support. What an absolutely insane game! I nearly turned it off after the Oilers went up 4-1; I'm SO GLAD I didn't. There's just no quit in this Canucks team. When Conor Garland put Vancouver up 5-4 on that beautiful fake slap shot I let out a cheer that I HOPE TO GOD woke up the people living above me (the entire family likes to stomp around their apartment at all hours of the day) Nikita Zadorov's game-tying goal was beautiful too. The video of the two goals is posted below. It's only one game but it's a great start for a team that many people were predicting would get swept in 4 straight. GO, CANUCKS GO!!!!!

Tough break losing in OT. Just need to go into Edmonton and steal one to get home ice back. Go Canucks!
