Time to bounce back tonight. Win one on the road and take home ice back. They did just that by squeaking out a 2-1 victory.😀 I'm at work right now but was following along on my phone. Sounds like the Preds outplayed the Canucks as they outshot them 30-12. Of course it's not how many shots you take it's how many go in. The difference appears to be special teams; the Canucks went 2/3 on the powerplay while Nashville went 0/5. It may not have been pretty but it's the playoffs so you take the wins however you can get them. GO CANUCKS GO!!!!

I like both teams, so whoever wins, I'll be pulling for in the next round.

It makes me think of a playoff series my Wings had against the Blackhawks that was super close and one of my favorites. We won the series 4-1 but only led throughout a few minutes. All four wins were by one goal, three of them were in OT and two of those were double OT. I know at least one of the OT games the game winner in OT was the first time we led in that game. We trailed or were tied the rest of the game. It was like you said, the playoffs and all that mattered was winning. I did feel a bit bad for Chicago and their fans as they outplayed us most of the series, but we got the job done in the end.

Last I checked the Canucks were down 3-1 and I was prepared to talk about how the series was tied and Vancouver just needs to win at home. Then I go check and they came back and won in OT. Great job guys. Now, you can finish off Nashville at home and move on. Keep Canucking Vancouver.

Great job guys. Now, you can finish off Nashville at home and move on. Keep Canucking Vancouver. Thank you for the kind words. Yeah, it took me for a surprise too as I was periodically checking the score on my phone at work. Brock Boeser scored twice in the last three minutes, including with just 8 seconds left, to tie the game, complete his hat trick and send the game to overtime where Elias Lindholm ended it about a minute in. I imagine the atmosphere in Bridgestone Arena was similar to a funeral afterwards. I'll have to check out the highlights when I get home tonight. I must have misread the series schedule a few weeks ago as I originally thought Game Two was the only one that fell on my days off but I'll be able to watch Tuesday night and hopefully see them wrap up the series. GO, CANUCKS, GO!!!!!

Sorry your boys could not pull it off for you last night while you watched. They will have to get it done Friday. 7 PM on TNT. Long as no guests are watching the lobby TV I will have the game one.

Thanks for the support. I really thought they were going to get the win on Tuesday. Going into the third with the score 0-0 it felt like the first goal scored would be the only one scored so when Zadorov put it in for Vancouver I thought that was going to be it. A bit surprised Rick Tocchet didn't challenge the Predators tying goal for goaltender interference. He said afterwards he was 50-50 about whether or not they would win the challenge and didn't want to risk a delay of game penalty. I wish in situations like that that hockey was like college football where the replay crew is observing the game and stops play if they want to have a closer look at something. They've lost the only two games I've been able to watch in the series which leads me to believe I'm a jinx. I'll be working on Friday night so hopefully they'll finish things off then.
