IWA #5: Open Gauntlet Challenge Night 1 02.04.2023 from Philadelphia, PA
Ian Riccaboni opened the show with a correction regarding the press release for this tour. At the top of the gauntlet, it was stated that the winner and loser would be fighting an extra time, which is incorrect. The winner will be fighting back down the gauntlet and the loser will be eliminated. Also, the championship committee has declared that the competitors with the most wins in the gauntlet will be the #1 contenders to the title belt in their division, and will face whoever the title holder is after the Gauntlet Gold PPV at the end of the next tour at the PPV tentatively called One Night in Houston. With the correction and the announcement out of the way, the action began.
Sea Stars (Ashley Vox & Exi Delmo) vs. Pink Ladies (Jessie McKay & Madison Eagles) Madison Eagles defeated Delmi Exo with a HELL BOUND. In a quick match that was on the dull side, Madison Eagles put away Delmi Exo with Hell Bound. The Pink Ladies move on in the gauntlet. 1*
America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris & James Storm) vs. Mane Event (Duke Davis & Ganon Jones, Jr.) Ganon Jones Jr. defeated James Storm with a DQ. The Mane Event escape with a win when James Storm lost his cool and smashed Ganon Jones, Jr. over the head with a chair during a brawl on the floor. If America's Most Wanted are going to get another shot at the Major Players for the tag titles, Storm will have to control his anger better next time they are in the ring in this gauntlet. The Mane Event move on in the gauntlet. 2*
Tessa Blanchard vs. Samantha Heights Tessa Blanchard defeated Samantha Heights with a DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER. Tessa Blanchard finished off Samantha Heights even though Heights had more time on offense in this short match. Unsurprisingly, Blanchard moves on in the gauntlet. 1*
Kevin Blackwood vs. Zicky Dice Zicky Dice defeated Kevin Blackwood with a SNAKE RATTLE & ROLL. Kevin Blackwood started this match on fire, getting Zicky Dice into a couple of pinning predicaments. Dice survived and worked himself back into the match where it became a back-and-forth affair. Dice did manage to stay out of any more pinning predicaments and finally caught Kevin Blackwood with the Snake Rattle & Roll to move on. 2*

Zicky Dice continues to impress in the IWA If RNG keeps up this way, he might run the gauntlet. His next challenge is new to the IWA, so we'll see if the streak can continue.

IWA #6: Open Gauntlet Challenge Night 2 02.11.2023 from Pittsburgh, PA
Britt Baker Promo This show opened with Britt Baker standing in the middle of the ring with Chelsea Green. Baker welcomed everyone to Brittsburgh and dedicated the upcoming Fire and Nice victory to her hometown. She then called out the Pink Ladies to get the action started.
Fire and Nice (Dr. Britt Baker & Chelsea Green) vs. Pink Ladies (Jessie McKay and Madison Eagles) Madison Eagles defeated Britt Baker with a HELL BOUND. This match turned out to be a wild encounter between these two teams. Within moments of the bell ringing, Chelsea Green was almost put away by Madison Eagles via Hell Bound. Green was able to kick out, only to be hit with the same move again seconds later. At that point, Britt Baker made a pin save that erupted into a huge brawl that led the ref to DQ both teams. However, the decision was quickly overturned by the competition committee, and the ref was instructed through is earpiece to restart the match. This then turned into a highly competitive match where everyone got their offense in, but the outcome was the same as it would have been had Baker failed on her earlier pin save that led to the brawl except that she found herself being pinned after a Hell Bound. 3*
5150 (Dany Limelight & Slice Boogie) vs. Mane Event (Duke Davis & Ganon Jones, Jr.) Danny Limelight defeated Duke Davis with a MORIR SONANDO. While everyone involved got some offense in due to quick tags, this match ended quickly when Danny Limelight caught Duke Davis with the Morir Sonando. 5150 moves on in the gauntlet. Despite everyone getting in some offense, this goes down as a DUD.
Cheerleader Melissa vs. Tessa Blanchard Tessa Blanchard defeated Cheerleader Melissa with a DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER. In another quick match, Tessa Blanchard made short work of the debuting Cheerleader Melissa and moves up the gauntlet. DUD
Jody Fleisch vs. Zicky Dice Zicky Dice defeated Jody Fleisch with a Snake Eyes. This match turned out pretty much like the Kevin Blackwood match for Zicky Dice. In a battle of contrasting styles, Jody Fleisch used his speed and agility to take early control and almost finished the match quickly. Once again, Dice withstood the onslaught, barely escaped several pin attempts, and slowly took control of the match and came out the victor. 3*

IWA #7: Open Gauntlet Challenge Night 3 02.18.2023 from Cleveland, OH
No long preamble to start off this show as the action got underway quickly.
Almost Paradise (Courtney Rush & Dust) vs. Pink Ladies (Jessie McKay & Madison Eagles) Courtney Rush defeated Jessie McKay with an OLYMPIC SLAM. In a surprising upset, Almost Paradise moves on in the gauntlet. Only Courtney Rush and Jessie McKay saw any ring time in a short match. It looked as though Rush was overmatched as every move she tried was countered by McKay. However, once she got control and was able to string some moves together, she had McKay in several pinning predicaments in a row and closed out the match with her Olympic Slam finisher. 1*
44OH! (Bobby Beverly & Eric Ryan) vs. 5150 (Danny Limelight & Slice Boogie) Slice Boogie defeated Eric Ryan via DQ. 5150 get the victory when Eric Ryan refused to listen to the ref and smashed Slice Boogie's head repeatedly into the announcer's table resulting in a disqualification. 1*
Mercedes Martinez vs. Tessa Blanchard Tessa Blanchard defeated Mercedes Martinez with a DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER. In an incredible match, Mercedes Martinez handled everything Tessa Blanchard threw at her, but finally succumbed to a third Double Knee Facebreaker. Throughout the early part of the match, Martinez frustrated Blanchard by bailing outside the ring, and at one point Blanchard was almost disqualified after following Martinez outside and disregarding the ref's instructions. Toward the end of the match, Blanchard was able to keep Martinez confined to the ring and get the win. 4.5*
Alexander Hammerstone vs. Zicky Dice Alexander Hammerstone defeated Zicky Dice with a DQ. Zicky Dice almost pinned Alexander Hammerstone on the first move of the match when Hammerstone threw Dice into the ropes and ducked down too early, giving Dice the opportunity for a quick rollup. That would be about all the exciting offense we would see in this one as Dice quickly figured out he was overmatched and took the fight outside the ring and, what appeared to be quite deliberately, got himself disqualified. Thanks to Zicky not wanting any part of Hammerstone, DUD.

IWA #8: Open Gauntlet Challenge Night 4 02.25.2023 from Columbus, OH
For the second week in a row, this show opened up with very little commentary from Ian Riccaboni.
MSEERIE (MsChif & Christina Von Eerie) vs. Almost Paradise (Courtney Rush & Dust) Christina Von Eerie defeated Dust with a 138. Christina Von Eerie was in the ring for the entirety of this match which didn't last long. Von Eerie had Courtney Rush in early trouble, only for momentum to swing to swing over to Almost Paradise when Dust entered the match. Von Eerie regained control quickly, however, and pinned Dust. MSEERIE moves on. 1.5*
Von Erichs (Marshall & Ross Von Erich) vs. 5150 (Danny Limelight & Slice Boogie) Danny Limelight defeated Marshall Von Erich with a SYMBIOTE DDT. The Von Erichs had complete control of this match, but let it slip away. Ross Von Erich almost won it a couple of times early on against Slice Boogie. Slice Boogie was able to withstand the offensive onslaught and get a desperation tag to Danny Limelight. Once Limelight entered the match, momentum swung heavily in favor of 5150. Using quick tags, and some tactics learned at the neighborhood bodegas of their youth, Limelight and Boogie unleashed an offensive onslaught of their own, which Marshall Von Erich took the brunt of before finally failing to kick out after a Symbiote DDT. 2.5*
Cat Power vs. Tessa Blanchard Tessa Blanchard defeated Cat Power with a DQ. Tessa Blanchard did not look like herself in this matchup despite getting the win via DQ. Cat Power controlled the match from the opening bell with Blanchard getting little offense in. Power was frustrated she could not finish off Blanchard and took the fight to the floor where both wrestlers used weapons in the ensuing brawl, but only Power was disqualified. 1*
Rohit Raju vs. Alexander Hammerstone Rohit Raju defeated Alexander Hammerstone with a MUMBAI DRIVE-BY. Rohit Raju gets past Alexander Hammerstone in a match that saw a lot of back-and-forth action between the competitors. Raju moves on in the gauntlet. 1.5*

IWA #9: Open Gauntlet Challenge Night 5 03.04.2023 from Cincinnati, OH
Ian Riccaboni started off the show explainign that tonight's matches conclude the top half of the gauntlet and whoever wins will be moving on to start their way back down the gauntlet next week. Riccaboni says whoever wins will be facing the remaining competitors in reverse order on their way down the gauntlet.
Regeneration X (Allison Danger & Leva Bates) vs. MSEERIE (Christina Von Eerie & MsChif) Allison Danger defeated Christina Von Eerie with a SHIMMERING WARLOCK. This was an exciting bout between these two teams. Even though Allison Danger pinned Christina Von Eerie for the win, Leva Bates was the MVP in this match as she dished out a ton of punishment to MsChif. MSEERIE is the first team eliminated from the gauntlet and Regeneration X will now begin working their way down the gauntlet, taking on Almost Paradise on the next show. 2.5*
Fixers (Jay Bradley & Wrecking Ball Legursky) vs. 5150 (Danny Limelight & Slice Boogie) Danny Limelight defeated Wrecking Ball Legursky with a HEAD CRACK. Danny Limelight, who is small in stature to begin with, was positively dwarfed by the behemoths on the Fixers. Even Slice Boogie looked small in comparison. Size didn't matter however as Slice Boogie and Danny Limelight hit the Head Crack and eliminated the debuting Fixers. 5150 heads to a rematch against the Von Erichs. DUD.
Athena vs. Tessa Blanchard Tessa Blanchard defeated Athena with a DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER. In a long, grueling match, the debuting Athena pushed Tessa Blanchard to her limit. Like the match before this one, Blanchard seemed off her game at the start. Both women had long periods of offense where they hit their finishers but just couldn't quite get the 3 count. Blanchard finally ended it and moves on to a rematch with Cat Power as she continues to run the table. 3.5*
Alex Kane vs. Rohit Raju Alex Kane defeated Rohit Raju with THE MARK OF KANE. Alex Kane finishes off Rohit Raju in a match that saw plenty of offense from both wrestlers. Alex Kane now moves on to face Alexander Hammerstone. 2*

IWA #10: Open Gauntlet Challenge Night 6 03.11.2023 from Mobile, Alabama
This show started off with a prepackaged video, narrated by Ian Riccaboni, quickly running down the order for the back half of the gauntlet and some of the highlights up to this point. When the video ended, the action began.
Almost Paradise (Courtney Rush & Dust) vs. Regeneration X (Allison Danger & Leva Bates) Allison Danger defeated Dust with a SHIMMERING WARLOCK. In a solid match, Regeneration X eliminated Almost Paradise from the gauntlet when Allison Danger hit the Shimmering Wizard on Dust. Next up on the way back down the gauntlet for Regeneration X are the Pink Ladies. 2.5*
Von Erichs (Marshall & Ross Von Erich) vs. 5150 (Danny Limelight & Slice Boogie) Ross Von Erich defeated Danny Limelight with a Cross Body Block. In a rematch of these two teams, the Von Erichs avenge their loss earlier in the gauntlet. In the first match up. 5150 were able to isolate Marshall Von Erich and get the win. In this encounter, the Von Erichs turned the tables and were able to isolate Danny Limelight and get the win. The Von Erichs will be facing the Young Studs next, while 5150 is in good position to come away with the most wins in the gauntlet and be named #1 contenders thanks to their four match win streak. 1.5*
Cat Power vs. Tessa Blanchard Tessa Blanchard defeated Cat Power with a DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER. Tessa Blanchard made quick work of Cat Power in their rematch. Blanchard continues to run the table and runs her winning streak to six straight matches, guaranteeing her at least the #1 contender spot to the IWA Womens Championship should she stumble in her upcoming matches. Blanchard will be stepping into the ring again with Mercedes Martinez on the next card. Match ended really quickly, so DUD.
Alexander Hammerstone vs. Alex Kane Alex Kane defeated Alexander Hammerstone with THE MARK OF KANE. Alex Kane puts away Alexander Hammerstone in dominant fashion. The Suplex Machine will be facing someone he has had past issues with, Zicky Dice, on the next card. 2*
