Young Studs (Bobby Beverly & Eric Ryan) vs. Von Erichs (Marshall & Ross Von Erich) Marshall Von Erich defeated Bobby Beverly with a Double Dropkick. The Von Erichs move on after Marshall Von Erich scores the pinfall win on Bobby Beverly in an extremely short match. The Mane Event face the Von Erichs next. DUD

IWA #12: Open Gauntlet Challenge Night 8 03.25.2023 from Buffalo, NY
This show starts off with backstage promos from the participants in the main event, Cheerleader Melissa and Tessa Blanchard. Cheerleader Melissa guarantees she will end Tessa Blanchard's win streak and go on to take the IWA Womens Championship from Su Yung. Tessa Blanchard says nothing will stand in her way to facing Su Yung again and winning the title like she should have done originally. Ian Riccaboni quickly welcomed everyone and sent it to the ring announcer to get the action started.
Fire and Nice (Britt Baker, DMD & Chelsea Green) vs. Pink Ladies (Jessie McKay & Madison Eagles) Madison Eagles defeated Britt Baker with a Cross Body Block. In a back-and-forth match that saw plenty of action and went longer than most people expected, the Pink Ladies outlasted Fire and Nice when Madison Eagles scored a pin after a picture-perfect cross body block from the top rope. The Pink Ladies will battle the Sea Stars for a shot at the Canadian Ninjas. 2.5*
Mane Event (Duke Davis & Ganon Jones, Jr.) vs. Von Erichs (Marshall & Ross Von Erich) Marshall Von Erich defeated Ganon Jones Jr. with an IRON CLAW to BACK SUPLEX. The Von Erichs stole the win from Mane Event after Duke Davis saved Ganon Jones, Jr. from getting pinned only to have the ref turn his back on Marshall & Ross and miss Jones, Jr. getting drilled by a second Iron Claw/Back Suplex combo. The Von Erichs move on to face a team that wants to get their hands on the Major Players badly, America's Most Wanted. 1.5*
Jody Fleisch vs. Alex Kane Jody Fleisch defeated Alex Kane with a 720 DDT. Jody Fleisch used his agility in this one to keep Alex Kane off balance and pick up a quick win with his 720 DDT. Kane looked slow and was unable to lay a hand on Fleisch for most of the match. Fleisch moves on to fight Kevin Blackwood, with the winner facing Luchasaurus for the IWA title at Gauntlet Gold. 1*
Cheerleader Melissa vs. Tessa Blanchard Tessa Blanchard defeated Cheerleader Melissa with a DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER. In an amazing match, Tessa Blanchard kept her streak alive by getting past Cheerleader Melissa after hitting two Double Knee Facebreakers in a row. Blanchard was in trouble herself at several points in this hotly contested match, having been on the receiving end of a Kudoh Driver early in the match and then kicking out of two Air Raid Crashes in a row just a few moments before she won. Samantha Heights is now the only person standing in the way of Blanchard running the table in the gauntlet and a shot at Su Yung for the title at Gauntlet Gold. 4.5*

Sea Stars (Ashley Vox & Delmi Exo) vs. Pink Ladies (Jessie McKay & Madison Eagles) Jessie McKay defeated Ashley Vox with a BOYFRIEND STEALER. Jessie McKay caught Ashley Vox in a bad position and isolated her from her sister, hitting the School Girl Crush twice in a row before getting the victory with the Boyfriend Stealer. Madison Eagles cutoff Delmi Exo from making the pin save, and the Pink Ladies now find themselves with a date against the Canadian Ninjas for the IWA Womens Tag titles at Gauntlet Gold. 2*
America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris & James Storm) vs. Von Erichs (Marshall & Ross Von Erich) Ross Von Erich defeated James Storm with an IRON CLAW. America's Most Wanted will have to wait to get their hands on the Major Players as the Von Erichs move on to a title shot. 1*
Samantha Heights vs. Tessa Blanchard Tessa Blanchard defeated Samantha Heights with a DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER. Tessa Blanchard made history by making it through the entire gauntlet and winning nine straight matches. Samantha Heights did her best to stop Blanchard, but it wasn't nearly enough as Blanchard gets her rematch against Su Yung at Gauntlet Gold. 2*
Kevin Blackwood vs. Jody Fleisch Jody Fleisch defeated Kevin Blackwood with a 720 DDT. Newcomer Jody Fleisch puts away Kevin Blackwood and goes on to face IWA champion Luchasaurus at Gauntlet Gold. IWA Womens Tag Team Championship Pink Ladies (Jessie McKay & Madison Eagles) vs. Canadian Ninjas (Nicole Matthews & Portia Perez) Portia Perez defeated Madison Eagles with a DQ. In a barn burner of a match, the Canadian Ninjas retain their IWA Womens Tag Team title when Portia Perez and Nicole Matthews hit the Funky Cold Medina on Madison Eagles, only for Jessie McKay to pull the ref out of the ring as his arm was coming down for the three count. The Pink Ladies were stunned when the ref disqualified them. They got hold of a mic and demanded a rematch. 4*
IWA Tag Team Championship Von Erichs (Marshall & Ross Von Erich) vs. Major Players (Matt Cardona & Brian Myers) Matt Cardona defeated Marshall Von Erich with a LONG ISLAND EXPRESS. In a match that did not live up to the hype, the Major Playters hang on to their belts after they hit Marshall Von Erich with a Long Island Express. 2*
IWA Womens Championship Tessa Blanchard vs. Su Young Su Young defeated Tessa Blanchard with a Palm Strike. Su Yung and Tessa Blanchard had a classic match for the IWA Womens Championship. Blanchard controlled most of the action, but Yung survived. The ending came when Yung got away with spraying red mist into the face of Blanchard and following up with a flurry of palm strikes while Blanchard was blinded. 5*
IWA Championship Jody Fleisch vs. Luchasaurus Luchasaurus defeated Jody Fleisch with a Tombstone Piledriver. Luchasaurus retains the IWA Championship in a match that was over quickly. Jody Fleisch tried to use his agility to topple Luchasaurus, but he could not stay out of the grasp of the big man and was put away with a vicious tombstone piledriver. .5*
As the show is ending, Ian Riccaboni closes by saying the IWA will be kicking off a new tour after a short break. The new tour will be a large 32-man tournament for the Indy Heritage Cup, with the semi-finals and finals happening at the next big show, One Night in Houston.
NOTE: I did give the champs in the above matches an advantage by lowering their pin ratings to 0. They will have this advantage for 1d6 matches before it is gone.

Edwards hit a tombstone piledriver to advance. 1.5*

Ninja Mack vs. Alan Angels Alan Angels defeated Ninja Mack with a Flatliner & Koji Clutch. An exciting opening to the show that saw Ninja Mack and Alan Angels hold nothing back. Each competitor had plenty of pinning opportunities, but in the end, it was a flatliner to koji clutch combo by Angels that forced Mack to tap out. 4*
Kevin Blackwood vs. Aramis Kevin Blackwood defeated Aramis with a DIVING DOUBLE STOMP. This match featured some good back and forth action, but Kevin Blackwood's striking skills ended up being too much for Aramis. While Aramis did get in a good amount of offense, he was never able to get Blackwood on the mat for a cover. On the other hand, he spent a great deal of time kicking out of Blackwood's pin attempts. A diving double stomp finished Aramis off. 3*
Titus Alexander vs. Matt Taven Matt Taven defeated Titus Alexander with a Running Seated Knee Strike. Matt Taven dished out a lot of punishment to Titus Alexander and moves on in the tournament after finishing Alexander with a running seated knee strike. Christopher Daniels vs. Colby Corino Colby Corino defeated Christopher Daniels with a sunset flip pin. Colby Corino pinned Christopher Daniels within the first minute of the match. Daniels threw Corino into the ropes only to have Corino get the victory on a surprise sunset flip pin.
