They did mention at GCON that this was a "pre-expansion" era territory set...not sure how strict they're going to adhere to that, but that would mean that most of the stuff would be pre-80s. So I'm betting more on guys like Bobby Shane, the Tolos Brothers, etc. being included. Didn't the territories still exist in the early to mid '80s? I mean Hogan kinda kicked that all off. I concur that a lot of B&W colorizations will happen: Bobby Shane Kevin Sullivan Mike Graham Missing Link Dewey Robertson (maybe) One Man Gang Steve Keirn (singles) Then the more unrealistic wants: Freddie Blasse The Tolos Brothers Rikidozan Giant Baba Some names I'd love to see: Matt Borne Mr. Wrestling Mr. Wrestling II Dick The Bruiser Dick Murdoch Mighty Igor

I concur that a lot of B&W colorizations will happen: The territories themselves definitely existed long after the "expansion era" began. If they're focusing on pre-expansion though, then it really depends on what event you really feel like kicked off the "expansion era" of the WWF and the death of the territories. I've always seen the kick off to be "black saturday" which was in 1984, some people consider the start to be the next year at WrestleMania. So yeah, early 80s would technically be included, but it's an extremely small chunk of time compared to the "pre-expansion era" of 1948 - 1984(5), so I'd hope that it's an extremely small portion of the set (if any at all). But we'll see. There's quite a few guys on your list I wouldn't mind getting an official card for, so I wouldn't complain if they just cherry picked that list...haha.

That was my point - I think you could get some names that were very much known during the territories that also wrestled after - Gang, Link, all fit that mold. Same for Sullivan.

Interestingly all the names you mentioned on the first part would make a good Florida set outside Dewey/Link.

Any word on how many new names to the game we are getting? I suspect we are getting several color updates and some alternates. Always like to see a nice mix.

I don't think we even have the size of the set confirmed yet.

Are we hoping for the first name tomorrow night? They mentioned teasers started this week, so I'd venture a guess that we get the first name. With the teaser we got last night, preorders will be just two Fridays from now, so I assume we'll get the confirmed number of cards in the set as well with that teaser. One can kind of estimate fairly easily, based off of Tom's inside Tom's Brain post where he said more than 50: - 26 (20 in the set proper, six prime cards) COTG - 11 (8 in the set proper, three prime cards) Indies - 14 minimum (11 set proper, three prime cards) LOW My gut would say that the number is probably closer to 17 with 12 being in the set, maybe one or two special editions, and three prime cards for LOW, which is what we got in Expansion X, but that is with no knowledge other than three LOW cards being pro prime.
